42 months after Groutzilla re-grouted the tile in my very large shower, Garrett returned to thoroughly clean the tile. He razor bladed away the accumulated soap scum, and then acid washed. Overall happy with the out come of our grout. The owner came out and gave us a quote. At the time I wasn't ready to spend so much on my grout but decided later to give it a try as I was told it should last up to 10 years. I really hope it does because I enjoy the look of it and he gave me great suggestions. The owner is the one who came to do the work, where reviews I saw had workers that had come to do the work. The front walk in was included in my quote, and looked at the day the quote was done, but the day he came to do the work himself, he let me know it was impossible because it was(I think he said) sandy? I'm not an expert so I'm not sure what that meant but bottom line was the material being used would not stick so therefore, that area was not done. I have a lot of tile so it took a couple days. Unbeknownst to us, the people who owed the house before us updated the bathroom showers and it seems like they did not use a bonded contractor because Bob let me know the grout may not do to well because the tiles were not set properly. I wish we had discussed this when he came and inspected to do the quote or even when he was doing the showers and not when I had to ask to have him come back to fix some missed spots. Again overall everything came out nicely but I do believe these are things that should have been talked about before, especially since I still had to pay for square footage that was not done. I agreed to the price but I think in the future if that happens again with a client, it would be respectful not to charge the client for work not being done. Just a suggestion. Also, there were several spots where the grout coloring was left uncleaned up. For example under the kitchen cabinets and even a bit on the hallway wall, up high not even close to the ground. That one was kind of weird. I had mentioned it and he just said to just a wet microfiber rag and wipe it off. It does come off but I did have to put a little elbow grease into a few places. Had to use my nail in the shower because the wet rag wasn't cutting through. Goes to show you the product is good, that's for sure. Overall the owner is very kind, extremely knowledgeable and the grout coloring is nice and makes the tile much cleaner looking. read more

I can't make this up! The crew came Thursday and replaced some broken tiles in my kitchen and sealed all the grout in my downstairs floor. When they were done, the floor never looked this good! Really! I was extremely satisfied! The guys told me not to "clean" the floor for 3 days (to keep the grout dry) and that seemed easy to do. As I was moving all my chairs and "stuff" back into place in my kitchen/dining area, the last piece I moved was the wine rack! Yup, you guessed it, I moved the rack without taking the bottles out and I was 1 foot away from putting the rack where I wanted it and I dropped a bottle of RED WINE onto the floor! Red wine was everywhere! I couldn't believe I did this on my beautiful floor! Needless to say, I picked up all the glass pieces and mopped up the wine and used a normal household cleaner to wipe the grout snd the floor looks PERFECT! Groutzilla solved my shower problems. My shower was gross and other companies were telling me I needed to regrout my shower to fix it, and giving me super expensive quotes. One company (that has a bunch of FAKE reviews on Yelp by the way - same profile pic for multiple reviewers) even charged me hundreds of dollars to clean the shower, over promising results - and it still looked dirty because cleaning does nothing for grout. I thought I'd have to regrout for sure but thank goodness I called Groutzilla. Grotuzilla explained why regrouting would not be necessary and furthermore would not work for my type of shower, avoiding a potential disaster. Instead he recommended coloring the grout.
