Casey Hart has done 2 tattoos for me. She's welcoming, sweet and so professional! She free-handed most of my second tattoo and it's absolutely gorgeous!! A few of the other staff came over and chatted while I was being tattooed and everyone was super friendly. The price for the quality of work and time it took was more than fair. I recently moved out of state and actually travelled back to MD to have Casey do my 2nd tattoo, which completed my half sleeve, and I will definitely be visiting in the future to see her again. She's amazing!

I came here during their Halloween flash sale. I was able to get the tattoo I wanted and in a timely manner. The vibes were chill. The bathroom was cute.. it was a Harry Potter theme. The only negative was my artist was ready to go! Like I could feel that he really didn't want to do the tattoo. Maybe they had a long day because of the sale or holiday. But yeah... that's not the vibe you want from a person who's putting permanent anything on your body lol. In the end I like my tattoo. The experience just felt very rushed. Advice... never get a tattoo if you feel rushed. You won't love it in the end and will think about the what if's read more

I am in love with my new art! Nick was wonderful to work with, if you want him to really shine let him have free reign on the particulars. I am a firm believer on not constraining my artist. I now have a beautiful blue rose on my left forearm, and it looks incredible. I plan to continue with a floral/nature theme to tie things together as he covers my old work, 2 small dragons, and adds new. As a transgender woman I am very pleased to say everyone treated me super well and made me feel welcomed and at home. Also, the place is cleaner than the last hospital I was in, lol spotless. I'm starting over at 65 building a new life, I'm doing it with style and class thanks to my artist Nick. It still gets a background, but here is what was done 1st session! read more

Went in today for a piercing. Penny was awesome! She clearly explained the process of checking in on my phone, explained each step leading up to the piercing and provided clear aftercare instructions. She definitely made me feel comfortable and made the whole experience great. The entire shop was clean. I would definitely recommend Penny for any piercing needs. read more

I rarely leave a review this negative but man. I've tried to book with two artists here - artist number 1 (Lagana) ended up in jail before our session leaving me out my deposit and out my PTO from taking off work for an appointment that didn't happen. Lexi also kept a deposit, cancelled on me twice, and then ignored my polite messages requesting a refund. Absolute trash for how this studio's artists behave. I have never had other artists treat me so poorly and I have a LOT OF INK. Strongly caution against the staff here. read more

I just got my first tattoo done here by Casey and cannot say enough incredible things about her, this studio, and my experience here. First I'd just like to say... this studio is professional, clean, neat & tidy, and super inviting. You can tell that all of the artists there really take pride in their work and making sure you have a pleasant and comfortable experience. Secondly- CASEY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! HANDS DOWN. I booked with her because I was intrigued by her work and her style fit exactly what I was looking for. Her line work, delicacy, and precision of detail is so beautiful. At my consultation I told her I wanted flowers on my foot and she drew up a rough sketch and seemed to totally get what I was wanting. I told her I wasn't that picky about what kinds of flowers she did; I was very familiar with her work as I spent a lot of time researching and looking at her portfolio so I learned which types of flowers she liked to do a lot of. I trusted her and knew that whatever she did was going to look bomb. On the day of my appointment she actually ended up free-handing most of the flowers, stems, and leaves on my foot which I am still blown away by. Not only is she an AMAZING artist, she is super sweet, friendly, funny, and made me feel SO comfortable and relaxed when I was nervous about the pain. She is also super informative about tattoos and did a great job explaining the aftercare process for me since I was not familiar. Overall, my experience here was beyond what I could ask for and I would highly recommend this studio and especially Casey to anyone!! I have received so many compliments already, even my mom who was not thrilled about me getting a tattoo loves it! I totally want to come back here and book with Casey for my second tattoo. read more

My time was not valued at all and the artist was basically a no show. I booked a consultation with Lexi Clark about a week/maybe week and a half in advance. I drove 30 minutes to the shop and Lexi wasn't there and the other artists in there said she was running late and she'll text me. So she texted me and said that she's running so behind and we can do the consult over text. Sucks that I drove that far, but okay I understand things happen. So I agreed and then didn't hear from her for two hours so I asked if there was a time frame we were thinking and she said she's been tattooing all day (again, I totally understand) and she said I can send over the pics of what I'm wanting and we will schedule a day. So I say that works for me and I did still have questions as to how it would work over text (cause at the consultation you talk about the size and shading and everything which I figured is a little more difficult over text) so I asked. This was Thursday afternoon, it's now Saturday and I still have not had a reply from her. I understand that she was tattooing all day that day, but just like them, I also made an actual appt and it wasnt put into consideration at all. I feel like my time was not valued and I'm very disappointed... I was impressed with Lexi's art shown in her portfolio on the website but I'm very unimpressed with the unprofessionalism on her part. I'm sadly going to have to keep looking for an artist to do what I want and hopefully have better customer service. read more

I went in for a very simple tattoo of a compass. Just direction markers and letter directions. What should have cost me $75 at the very most, cost me 140 with a 10 dollar tip. I got hoodwinked, and taken advantage of, just because I had never had a tattoo before. I give great thanks to Nick, who stood up and took me as his client. Sorry, I won't be coming back there anytime soon. I will shop around. I'm giving it a two star for making me feel like easy prey, and, for the price gouging. read more

I would very much recommend making an appointment and coming here to get tattoos done, both my mother and I have gotten tattoos done by two different artists. Mike Dolche and Ashley griffin are both amazing tattoo artists and allow something with much beauty and some pain be enjoyable and artistic. read more

I started a tattoo with the artist Nick, we scheduled an appointment for me to come back which he had no recollection of and then literally ignores all of my messages and texts about coming back to get the color done. Extremely unprofessional and really frustrating because he seemed cool at first. Guess I'll have to get it finished by someone else. The rest of the artists seem great but that wasn't cool to do to a paying client/customer. read more

Let me just say... KIM IS AMAZING! My mom and I came in a few days ago for a memorial tattoo for a family member and she gave us the perfect tattoo! Not to mention she ended up taking in 4 more of our family members for the tattoo! She was so patient and kind to us and truly gave us all the perfect memorial tattoo. Ran by a bunch of children. Put a deposit down. Had to cancel because of personal stuff. Tried to reschedule and got the run around. Politely asked for my deposit back and was told I was too confusing and bipolar and that I was Pmsing. I get deposits are non refundable, but who wants to pay for something and then get called names for it. It is unprofessional. Spend your money elsewhere. There are a lot less sexist artists out there that are willing to give you great customer service. read more

It was hard to come by a lot of work by the artists at Electric because they don't have a dedicated webpage. They do have a Myspace page, but it doesn't have all the work each artist has done (Take a look at all the artist's pages as they have more of their own work displayed there). I had the pleasure of having Dave Regan draw and work on my tattoo. He really got the idea around what I wanted to do and added his own style to create a stunning piece. The tattoo work areas are really clean and sterile. All of his tools were clean and sterile as well. Dave explained the processes clearly and I definitely trusted him with the direction he was taking my tattoo in. Everyone there is laid back, easygoing and friendly. I can see why he would enjoy working there. They don't take credit cards so make sure you bring enough cash. I highly recommend Dave or Brett for your tattoos!

Carroll did my other tattoo on my rib and he has a light hand, which made the experience the least painful it could be getting tattooed in that area. The only thing that I can say negative about this place is the location, it seems kind of sketch especially next door to a liquor store. There are a lot of weird people coming and out of the shop while you are getting tattooed. But the shop owners and owners are nice and the place is fairly priced for tattoos.

Nail Haven did a beautiful job on my daughter's nails for her senior prom! We normally both get SNS…read moredip with simple designs like different color french tips on each nail or line work at our regular salon, but for such a special occasion she wanted something more elaborate. After reviewing their work on Instagram, we decided to make an appointment here. Originally, my daughter wanted to stick with dip to maintain her natural nail length, but the nail tech explained that the specific design she requested could not be achieved with dip powder. She transitioned to Aprés Gel-X instead, and still made changes from the original inspiration photo to simplify needs and costs after consulting with the nail tech. The final result was absolutely gorgeous and prom-ready! The only surprise was the number of additional fees added throughout the appointment, so she called me a few times to confirm costs before proceeding. I was happy to cover it for such a memorable milestone event. In the end she got one nail with light blue french tip, two nails painted blue and two nails with painted butterfly or flower design on each hand where in her original design it was a different design on each nail. While we will likely continue using our regular salon for routine nails due to the pricing structure here, I would recommend Nail Haven for weddings, prom, and other special occasions depending on your design aspirations.

I was so impressed with her and the relaxing vibe of the place I booked a pedicure for next week! They do require a $15 deposit to book an appointment which can be used toward the service you receive or you can keep rolling it forward as your deposit for future appointments.

I was charged for TWO nail repairs. The nail tech did not repair a single nail. Instead, he "popped…read moreoff" two of my old acrylics and charged me for "nail repairs". He also did the wrong cat eye color and had to grind it off in order to fix that. I was charged $75, $14 of which was for repairs that were not conducted. I normally pay $60 for a fill WITH design at my normal salon. I will NOT be back. I only went here today because my normal nail tech does not availability until next week and my nails were looking crazy. Also, the salon was in various states of disrepair. The furniture is cracked and looks super run down. I would not recommend coming here unless you like being overcharged.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The studio itself was so clean and welcoming, and the artists are all awesome and great to talk to. I got my second tattoo, done by the fantastic and majestic Casey Hart!! Her portfolio is to die for, I couldn't decide between two of her flash pieces so she said we could combine them and it turned out way better than I could've ever imagined. Her work is so delicate and her personality is so bubbly and fun! She was also extremely informative and more than happy to answer any questions and explain everything - especially with the tegaderm for the healing process (which I've never had before)! While I was getting my tattoo, there were other artists around that talked with Casey, my friend, and I and it was overall such a chill and cool experience, just like a laid back hangout session. They were all fantastic, quick to answer any questions, and very proud and happy to show my friend and I the pieces they've done!! My friend commented on how going with me to my appointment made her want to get her first tattoo done there, and we're both so excited to go back. read more
