Loved my experience here with Katie. Her tattoo skills are epic! I was referred to her. This location requires an appointment. The minimum tattoo price would be $125. They also require you to sign a consent letter. Your encounter would be in a private room. One to one. It's really a nice setup. Nice comfortable chair. Reminds me of the dentist chair. Katie knew what I wanted and she made things pleasant. We had a good conversation. Next thing I knew she was finished. My appointment time was for one hour. It took less time for that because of what I wanted. They give you aftercare instructions. Which is also explained to you. This was my first tattoo with colored ink. So I had several questions which she responded to very well. I would highly recommend her. Also there is alot of parking available. Just be sure to let them ring you in. They share the space with the lower level. Which is a different business. The tattoo shop is on the upper level. I had my first tattoo today with Andrea Jensen, and even with my most hopeful thinking did not think it would go nearly as well as it did! Andrea is immensely talented, creative, genuine, and professional! From the beginning of my consult up until the end of my session, her support and gentleness throughout the process made the experience much more comforting to me. I had zero doubts with her and wouldn't want to get a tattoo by anyone else! Andrea has beautiful line work, a unique style, and an approach to tattooing that is both spiritual and grounding. She is aware that the way her clients perceive their tattoos is tied into the experience that goes inside its creation. She is empathetic to the pain felt while getting tattooed and tries everything in her ability to lessen the discomfort, from offering food and drinks to giving free extra supplies during aftercare. The price was discussed prior to my session and there were no extra costs that surprised me. I did not have to sit in the lobby and wait for her, either-- when I arrived she was ready promptly and was friendly from start to finish! She made sure I was hydrated, didn't need to use the bathroom, and sterilized before even beginning with applying the stencil. There are also various mirrors throughout the lobby and in Andrea's office that offer different perspectives about how your tattoo would look. The lobby is beautiful, VERY clean, well lit with natural lighting, spacious, and adorned with plants and original artwork. Everything seems advanced here, from the dryer in the bathroom to the glass walls in the private studio rooms that change to foggy glass at the click of a button for added privacy. Andrea's office is full of her personal sketches, some crystals, and a couple mindfulness books. When I needed a little distraction throughout my 3 hour session it was nice to simply sit back and look around. :) Side note: If you get a tattoo from her and want it touched up down the line, she touches them up for free! John is incredible. I knew I wanted a mandala tattoo on my upper back for a long time but I hadn't found the right artist to do it. Fast forward through a ridiculous amount of Yelp research to John - as soon as I found him and got a glimpse of his previous work, I knew this was the artist I wanted to tattoo my mandala. I drew up the design myself (only because of the meaning behind the piece), reached out to him via his website, and he sent me a message back same day. This was my first tattoo, so I was definitely nervous going in but I was able to bring my sister along with me and the atmosphere of the private room was very calming - dimmed lighting, salt lamps, healing crystals, laid-back background music, etc. When I arrived, he printed out multiple sizes for me to choose from and made sure I was absolutely certain the placement was exactly what I wanted before we got started. His line work is extremely precise and my mandala turned out exactly how I wanted it! Afterwards, he took his very thought-out pictures for instagram (clearly, he's a pro) and walked me carefully though the healing process. I got a tattoo done by Tory Destromp back in 2014. I was very nervous because it was my first one. When I first went to the shop to talk to Tory I showed him what I wanted to get and where. We talked about what it meant, the style, placement and date and time to have it done. He truly wanted to make sure it was something I wanted to do. I mean it is a big thing The shop is extremely clean and all the equipment is sterile. The place is very professional and artistic. The tattoo artists and staff were very friendly and funny. Yes I got another tattoo and yes I just had to come back to Tattooed Heart to get it. This time I got a chest rocker of my daughter's name just under my collar bone. Again I told John what I wanted and I said my daughter's name in script, he said cool and we made the appointment on my birthday. I came in and he said here is what I have. I have what you asked for, Samantha in script but I also have this and he showed me her name done in like a stone lettering. He told me that everyone has script on a chest rocker and he wanted to do something different. Well as usually it turned out awesome!! John never disappoints, just give him the artist freedom and he will come back with a beautiful piece of art. The tattoo took a little over 2 hours to do. John was in the zone most of the time and it went by faster then I thought it would take. The people at Tattooed Heart are amazing, very friendly, it feels like I've known all of them for years. I will not go somewhere else to get my work done, John is the man and will continue to get my tattooes from him. I also got my ears gauged to an 8 by Jenn who is just great person, very friendly, I could talk to her all day. She is very knowledgable and will give you honest answers to what's best for you and your body, no BS involved. I will be going back to her to get my ears stretched to a 6 gauge in another week or 2. I could try it myself but it was a pain doing it myself when I first started out at 18g and went from there. She was very open to my ideas, gave recommendations on alterations (which I followed because she was right - what I wanted originally wouldn't have worked as well for my brown skintone). She had a very light hand so the two back-to-back sessions I had were just barely above uncomfortable. Even then, she always made sure to check on me to make sure I was doing OK. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish with Andrea. We emailed back-and-forth a few times to get started, I sent my deposit, and got a sketch before my appointment. I initially wasn't completely sure what I wanted style/design-wise but she quickly figured it out by asking the right questions and requesting reference photos. She knew what I wanted more than what I knew or could describe, which was a great (and reassuring) feeling! The sketch absolutely blew me away, and I couldn't wait for my appointment. But, to my surprise, the tattoo is even better than the sketch! Andrea was very thorough in her preparation, cleanliness, and in making sure I was comfortable. The studio is amazing and private, which I appreciated. Andrea is a great conversationalist, which helped distract me from any discomfort. I wanted my wife's signature incorporated so I sent Natalie a photo and she replied with a lovely original, elegant yet simple design that perfectly typified my wife. The result is beautiful and discreet. Ms Seki's work is lovely beyond description; her personality is calm and calming. First off, I would hate to go to place and get something permanent with anything less than 5 stars to be honest, so I give Tattooed Heart Studios a five star for sure. Second, the shop is super clean, you can tell they take pride in keeping it that way too, even the bathrooms are super clean. Third, I wouldn't worry about a saving few dollars here and there when getting something permanent done, but compared to other places I looked at, Tattooed Heart Studios had really great pricing. I have gotten two tattoos from here and have been with two of my other friends while they got work done here, all of which were nothing short of great. I really suggest Marcus Decker, his work is awesome, I think his specialties are bio-mech and graffiti (I'm sure he can do anything though). The first piece I got came after a coworker highly recommended the place, which is about an hour away from my house. Marcus did an amazing job on a stencilized portrait of my grandpa, which I love because its not a typical portrait style, its more of a graffiti style stencil. For the second time going, my girlfriend and I got Key and locket tattoos in a Gothic style art. We came there with just the idea and he drew up ten better ideas than I originally had and tweaked it to our personal liking. The whole tattooing process with him is great, hes cool to talk to, he precise, he doesn't bury the needle into your skin too deep (meaning his tattoos haven't "bubbled up" on my or faded from being too gentle even after two years), and he keeps you company during the tattoo. He also touched up my first ta too after I got my second tattoo for free (not that there was anything wrong with it I just wanted some small things added). Overall great experiences with Tattooed Heart Studios, I really couldn't ask for more from a tattoo shop. My suggestion is to come in with an idea because any of the artist there is super experienced and can give your ideas its own personal touch and make an appointment because they do a lot of shows, etc. read more

My artist Kinsey knew exactly what I was looking for after my description and came up with a design that I knew was "me" the moment I saw it. The studio is clean and well decorated with a chic feel. I got my nose pierced by Jenn and she was so helpful in finding an alternative stud for me since I have a horrible nickel allergy. It's been 4 months and still no problems!!! This last visit John tattooed my husband and I. As I expected he did an amazing job and was awesome!!! I really can't say enough great things about THS. I think one of the best things about this place is these guys aren't just tattoo artists, they are artists. I've only got one tattoo in my life and I found this place after reading reviews. First, this place is really nice - not some grungy joint. The artists have a portfolio ready for you to review. I regret not having John do my tattoo, because people swear by him. The person that did my tattoo had a lot of Satanic posters up which was a huge turnoff, and he was a little too open about some of the things in his life. But he still did a great job. He no longer works there. What impressed me was that John called me up the day or two after and asked about my experience and listened to my concerns about the professionalism of the artist. Got my first tattoo yesterday, no gonna lie was a little nervous but John and company set me at ease with fun energetic crew, that was very reassuring. Everyone was very welcoming and genuine. I had a great session with John, he answered all of my questions and concerns. He did an excellent job on the realism duckwing I got, it looks amazing. I followed their websites instructions for how to set up a consultation and it's been over three weeks with absolutely no word back. I've emailed twice and still nothing. I find it pretty awful that they pride themselves on their customer service and friendly approach when they completely ignored a potential client with an open arm and wallet. Had my ink done on Oct. 7th by Paul who was funny, engaging and brilliant with his vision and translated exactly what I wanted into the perfect first (a happy, cartoon-style cat) and second (contemporary cherry blossoms, vividly colored) tattoos in my life. Sarah made the experience even better by making me feel at home and totally at ease by holding my hand and talking me through first ink scariness, the perfect ambassador. I have been going to Tattoed Heart Studio for going on four years now. I have a full right sleeve and about half way done my left as right now. This shop is unbelievably clean, fun, organized and highly maintained above all standards. All of my work is done by the owner (John), who is so unique and talented at what he does. His other artists that work for him such as Amy, Nate, and Paul are awesome as well. Each of them have different styles of art, and this team works hard, has dedication, and cares about your tattoo just as well as you do!
