The dealer wanted almost a thousand dollars and said it would take about two hours to provide me with a new key and reprogram the car, plus I'd have to drive there. Ray gave me a window of 1-3 p.m. for the following day and came to my house. It took an hour, mostly because the first new key he tried to reprogram seemed to work, but left a warning light on the display panel, but the second one worked fine. Kudos to Amir ... who replaced and cloned my car key. Everything started on Tuesday... my car key casing cracked .. I checked and there is no easy way to just order the cover from ebay. This afternoon I had my ignition key get stuck in my 2003 Honda Pilot. I couldn't turn the key to start the car or remove it. Nothing I did made a difference. I called a local locksmith company but they didn't really have anyone who could come out, and I was afraid I'd have to tow the car to a shop. Then I looked on YELP and saw Diamond Locksmith and all the 5 star ratings. I called Ray and he answered right away. He said he could be at my place in 30 minutes, and he was. He's very professional and got straight to work. I helped hold a light for him as my garage was pretty dark, and he didn't mind me watching closely or helping out. He was finally able to remove the ignition lock cylinder, then he refurbished it and cut a new key in his mobile workshop/van. When that was ready, he programmed the key to work in the vehicle and closed everything back up. I am happy to give him 5 stars for the quick service and thorough job he did to make sure everything was working correctly before he left. Thee previous locksmith I worked with messed up 3 out of 4 of our doors while trying to make new keys and said they are not repairable and we have to order whole new mechanism for each. Had a front door latch that was sticky, to the point where you could no longer open it, and I basically got locked out of my house! I tried replacing it myself but it was too complicated and I didn't have the right tools. I called at 5 pm to make a appt for the next day and he Came out within an hour of calling to replace my front door latch handle, and then adjusted my front door and strike plate. Now our door is basically as good as new! Also, he wore a mask, chatted politely about his time in the Israeli army when he saw my shepherd, and was fast abs very reasonably priced.
