I got my nails done by Lisa. She might need a new prescription on her glasses because this is by far the worst manicure I've ever received. I was pointing out how raised my thumb nail was on the white part due to her putting on so many coats and she had the nerve to tell her next client that it was because my nails were lumpy. I called and asked if someone else could fix it the next day and they said to come back in 3 days and i was working that day so I'm here 4 days later trying to get them fixed and they're saying they may or may not have time to do it. But to wait and see if they do. And I asked if I can come back tomorrow and since it's Friday and they would be busy they said no. Horrible customer service. She was and still is being extremely rude to me. I have been coming here since they opened and the last few times it has been horrible today was awful the water was cold for my pedicure I asked for the Pearl pedicure which is $50 and I have had this pedicure over 4 times and she didn't use all the products that come with the Pearl pedicure and was talking about me with the girl that started doing my manicure while I was getting a pedicure she told me to turn my massager off on chair cause she couldn't do my manicure at the same time as the massage chair going. I got a mani/pedi. They did a great job. The staff was very kind and offered cold water upon entry. They didn't try to pressure me into getting anything extra, as most places do. Very spacious and clean. They used new files and buffers and gave them to us to take home after they were finished. The only downside was that they were a little understaffed. I was one of the first customers when Diamond Nails opened. I have been faithful ever since. Sure I've taken breaks from getting my nails done (and painted at home) due to finances. But I never went anywhere else to get my nails done. I was happy until I got turned away for being 13 minutes late to my appointment. I work at a winery that allows a 15 minute cushion for appointments just like the restaurants I used to work for. I've been in hospitality all my career. I will never go anywhere else. He is an artist, He is a perfectionist and he is very sanitary! I get my pedicures from T and my god! A real pedicure!!! Not 10 minutes not 20, a full service with massage for $23... My gels not included. This place is so clean! They mop in between clients, wear gloves, wrap the tools up and hand you what they have used on you; such a nail file and foot scrubber. I highly recommended their services! This was the worst experience at a nail salon I have ever had. When I called and made my appointment for a pedicure and a fill and fix they they repeated it back to me and I thought everything was fine however when I came in for my appointment they tried to tell me that I asked for a pedicure and manicure and said they didn't have time for my fill and fix. Instead of working it out with me which I was open for the owners son began yelling at me and cussing at me telling me that I was accusing them of not speaking English which I never did. The Worst. Took my 86 year old Mom there today. She was treated very poorly by staff and owner. He complained that she was to picky about having a 15 dollar Manicure. They tried to skip topcoat and filing the tips of the nail. They rushed her out of her seat , so a customer who was spending more money could start. I'm not understanding the bad reviews! I have nothing but great experiences. I go here every month for a pedicure- gel if I'm feeling fancy. They have super nice massage chairs, it's clean, and the ambiance is always very calm and delightful. They do a scrub, massage, hot stones, and steam towels- it's heavenly. The prices are fair, the wait time isn't horrible. Overall I always enjoy my pedicures here and will not go anywhere else. Oh!! One woman told me I could not sit in the chair next to her though there were then 7 vacant chairs. Napa Ladies- FYI I just had the worse manicure experience at Diamond Nails, they are on Lincoln and California. The lady smeared all the shellac nail polish on every nail. It's like a huge glue. She pretty much glued my nail into my skin. Then she aggressively filed my nail as if I am made of metal causing me to bleed. She kept insisting for me to place my hand under the shellac light which was burning me. I told her that I am being burned. Her reaction is "well you won't have a good shellac". And that's when I decided to stop this manicure massacre. I told her she was hurting me and that my finger is bleeding that I didn't want to put my hand under the light. She then screamed at me that it was my fault because I had my hand turned and that's why it happened. She kept screaming and screaming and then has the guts to say "I am sorry". My internal though was...Sorry doesn't fix it lady. Don't say sorry if you keep hurting me, scream at me and are rude. Why use sorry when you don't really mean it. I am never going back to this place. I walked out. Paid for the horrible manicure and went to another place for them to unglued my nails. So I tried out this place when it first opened up and was amazed this place was great and my pedicure guy was awesome and I found out they did eye brow waxing and I tried it out and loved it. This is the second time I come to this place for a pedicure. The fist time they did a good job, but the second time was horrible. A guy did my pedicure and it seem like he was rushing. He didn't trim my nails very well and then he cut my big toe. He tried to do everything to stop the bleeding but he cut it pretty badly, so the blood wouldn't stop. He then was applying the polish, and he wanted to apply it to my toe that was bleeding still. I told him to wait for the blood to stop, but he just wiped the blood and applied the polish. I have been a loyal customer since they opened. I've bought 100 of dollars in gift certificates and referred all my family and friends. Until this evening I have never experienced anything less than perfect customer service. They have employed a new nail technician named "Theresa" whom I will refer to as Dragon Lady. My nails are ruined thanks to DR. My new current full set are completely uneven, thick in shape and as my husband says are turned up. This is after I spent 2.5 hours in the shop. DR belittled me in the middle of the shop and she had another customer return to complain. Good Luck Diamond Nails, I will never return and I advise anyone else take your business elsewhere. UPDATE: I returned 3 weeks ago to have the acrylic nails removed by Brian. He did not soak my nails off just aggressively ripped them off with the end of plastic tip. I ended up with 3 nails badly infected because of the damage while removing them. Have been on antibiotics and it's going to take months for my nails to grow back and one nail bed is completely scabbed over. It looks as if I have an ET finger. Worst service EVER. I walked in and they said they had time for a set of gel nails in 5 minutes, so I waited. Close to 10-15 minutes later they started my nails. They didn't even file my nails and then started adding gel for a french manicure. The girl couldn't make them look symmetrical at all and each finger was very different. When I pointed it out she kept saying "your finger is bad".. finally another girl tried to help but there was so much damage to what already happened to the hardened gel. The guy (manager?) came over and said "We don't have time to fix so come back another time"... I explained I didn't have another option to come back later and needed them to at least make my nails presentable enough to leave. She did a fast job and finished and said to come back another time. The guy charged me full price and when I said the job wasn't even done correctly to the point you wont fix it because YOU don't have time, how can you expect me to pay full price for a service that wasn't completed??? Just make sure they charge you correctly, they give you one price over the phone and then they give a different price once you get there. Yes they are clean, and even give you a bottle of water..... But as much as I tried explaining them what I wanted they still didn't understand completely ..... And besides that, I left with a very poor job done on the acrylic toe.....
