I went in to have hard gel polish removed, and it was my first time visiting this salon. I called ahead of time, explained exactly what I needed, and thought it would be a simple, quick appointment. Right from the start, something felt off with the technician. I really wish I had gotten her name. She was extremely rough with my nails, and my nail beds were burning from how aggressively she was filing them. It felt like she was rushing through the service, as if she was running low on time. Throughout the appointment, she was taking phone calls and talking across the salon to other people while working on my nails. And she was talking so kindly to them in the switch up when she would talk to me was insane. It made the experience feel very unprofessional. She also seemed irritated that I wasn't paying with cash. When I told her I was using a card, she rolled her eyes. I didn't realize she expected me to use my physical card, since most businesses now accept Apple Pay, she sighed heavily in annoyance. After she handed me the receipt to sign. I accidentally signed in the wrong place, and instead of politely pointing it out, she spoke to me in a very condescending and aggressive tone, like I was a child. Considering how I had been treated, I chose not to leave a tip. The service cost $10, took about 10 minutes, and the overall experience was unpleasant. That seemed to make her even more upset. She hesitated before handing my card back and looked genuinely shocked that I hadn't tipped. I have never been treated so poorly at any business, especially at a nail salon. Between the rough treatment, the rushed service, the unprofessional behavior, and the rude attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I also recommend getting the "Venus pedicure," it's worth every penny and the compliments from people are just a bonus. It's in downtown Napa, so we usually make a date out of it. Made an appointment via their online portal and received a text confirmation within the hour - EASY, PEASY! Oh, in the text confirmation they stated that they prefer cash payments but they do accept all credit cards (AMEX and Discover included) I booked services for my mom and I for her birthday so we came right after our spa day --- we arrived 30 mins early which I don't think they appreciated but I reassured them that we weren't in a hurry and it gave us time to look at what nail colors we wanted - they gave us a booklet with all the colors they offer. They sat us on the pedicure chairs and since we both had gel polish already on, they had to remove it (which took extra time & it was an extra charge - FYI) Before they started on any services they confirmed services we wanted - they handed us a laminated sheet with all the services they provide. I opted for the Basic Manicure & Pedicure (w/ gel polish) for myself since I don't usually go to salons and do my own nails at home (I go as a treat here and there). For my mom, I booked the Gel Manicure & Venus Jelly Pedicure. Our appointment was 3:30pm on a Saturday so they had a busy day and were probably tired of socializing, I could tell when my mom tried to talk to them -- they were quiet at first but of course - they opened up and ended up being really nice. My mom looooooooved the services, especially the pedicure. Since it was my treat, she was willing to tip extra on top but I told her I would do that. For my mani/pedi --- she took her time when it came to cleaning up my cuticles. They were looking pretty busted TBH. I am always scared they're going to cut me since they get right down to the very nail when cutting down your cuticles but the lady that I had did an AMAZING job. She not only did a twice over, she did a triple check after each section of the meni/pedi - I appreciated that. I finished earlier than my mom so I was able to hang out a bit and also pull out more money (they have an ATM for your convenience). When we were leaving the entire salon staff wished my mom a 'Happy Birthday' which I thought was super nice. Came here on a win just because I needed to get my nails done. I know it's memorial day and I was happy that they got me in so that's an only one star for that. However, it goes down the drain after that... the lady kept saying something in her language after I said, I needed to get more filing, sounded like she was complaining. The pedicure and manicure was $60 which is higher priced then other nail salons in Napa, so I thought this was gonna be a better quality one. Ok, I let it go..My pedicure was done OK not too bad but she missed the spot with the last coat and my big toe 's cuticle was not cut even, so it looks weird on after the color. The manicure was OK, but it looks like she was complaining every single time I would say something in her language which threw me off and was completely unethical. It gets even better.. she did not use lotion to moisturize my hands nor she gave me a massage which is a standard for any manicure. But it gets even worse after that. The best part was that they do not have anything to put the feet in they had no disposable slippers that you usually get after you get your pedicure, but she stated she has $2 ones that were not even my size that I can buy. So I ended up walking out BAREFOOT to get into my car, which I've never ever done in my life after getting my nails done. If I could give this place a zero I really would.. Came here for the first time with a bachelorette party of 5 doing gel mani/regular pedis. We made a reservation a month in advance just to make sure they can accommodate us. We chose this place because of the size of the place, number of chairs, and number of technicians. On the Friday we got there, they were ready to start working, we didn't have to wait at all. They quickly confirmed what each person wanted for their nail color and/or if they wanted design. The ones who needed design got their manis done first. The rest of us got started with pedis where we sat on the massage chairs. 4 ladies worked on us at the same time. Overall, I enjoyed the gel mani and pedi experience. The lines were clean and they made sure my toes were dry before moving me to the mani table. My tech made sure I liked my shape, listened to broken nail comment and was gentle throughout. I noticed a lint on one of the nails and she quickly fixed it before curing. Always pay attention to exactly what is being done! Very clean paint job but did notice some bubbles if I'm being picky. Bonus: the bride LOVED her acrylic full set with gold glitter ombre design. Would come back if I was back visiting Napa. Gel Mani+regular pedi costs $75 without tip. I definitely recommend making an appointment/call ahead because they do turn away walk-ins when busy! BRING CASH IF YOU CAN. They charge a processing fee for credit/debit transactions. Excellent service and attention to detail. I stop by after work in desperate need of getting my nails done. I tried to make an appointment and decided to just drop in and see if I could get in. Walked in around 5:45 on a Tuesday. I was taking a chance and hoped that they would squeeze me in. To my surprise, they were able to take me. I got my pedicure first. They took their time and it was very relaxing. The lady who did my pedicure took her time and the massage felt so good. I got a full set. I showed Jenny what I wanted. She gave me suggestions and I am so glad I listened to her. I got almond shape for the 1sr time. It took some time, but so worth it. They close at 7, but she took her time. I was done around 8:30. I can actually relax here, knowing they are going to be thorough but gentle with me. II've never been able to grow my nails out at all until I started getting manicured here. The spa is very casual and never super busy, which I appreciate. I always get basic mani pedi but they are known for being great at gels and acrylic. $110 + bank fees for the absolute worst mani pedi I've ever received that cut me, and left stuff on my pants, shoes, and socks. Run away, don't walk away. Y'all, it was so bad it's kind of comical. And painful. Don't do it. Oh, where to start? First, I've been to dozens of nail places and this is by far the worst. I had 2 nail techs and they were equally bad. I started writing this while still here and am uncomfortable. The massage chair is off and digging into my back. They obviously wanted me out as soon as possible. Maybe this is a local lunch nail place? I wouldn't come here anyway, but I guess that would explain it. The woman doing my manicure stopped halfway through so they could start my pedicure. I couldn't roll my own pants up since my dip nails were incomplete and wet, so it was only a few inches from my ankle. Massage was a very light touching. No pressure. Cleanliness is questionable. It's the first place in years where I didn't get my own equipment for things that aren't easily washed, like a nail file. She dipped the tool she was working with into the foot bath water before continuing to work with it. I'm honestly concerned about a fungal infection. Didn't get a chance to wash my hands at any point during the manicure process. Because of that they felt dirty when I left and the dip is uneven. I'm not super surprised though. The woman doing my nails actually said, "Sorry, it's a little messy." Both women cut me while removing my cuticles. They also were going so hard/fast that the tool slipped hard either under my nail or right into my nail bed several times. Callous removal was laughable, feet look exactly the same except painted. She washed my feet and legs with soap and water after "massaging" my feet and legs, so no moisturizer. Every place I've been to sprays your toes and wipes your nails. Putting my shoes on and the woman who took my pants up/down got dip dye on my pants, socks, and shoes You can't make this up. I just.... wow. Ugh, in my car and yes, my left shoulder and neck hurt. Payment is screwed. If you decide to go make sure to get money from your bank. They take cards in theory but charge 2.5% I was like... that's fine, I'll do it. She made me pay cash with the ATM in the place. (Hello, tax evasion) "$1" fee on the front of the machine which was actually $2.50 plus whatever my bank charges for using an outside ATM. I'm so frustrated right now. My neck, back, finger nails and toe nails hurt right now. I feel literally robbed. Will edit once my pants are out of the dryer to answer the question of the hour, are they ruined? ETA: Pants are not ruined, thankfully. I had to soak my fingers for 30 minutes to get the leftovers off of my skin. Lots of hang nails developed from the rough cuticle removal. However, no nail fungus. So, that's a plus. read more

Just left Urgent Care where i was prescribed antibiotics for an infected finger that was a direct result of the worst manicure I've ever had at this horrible salon. I was never going back anyway because of their rudeness, inconsideration (double booked and made me sit there for a half hour with no apology) and very rough approach including painful cuticle cutting - likely source of infection. I had a pedicure appt with my BF, they were about 15-20 mins late but they had to clear open a chair for us to sit next to us but we weren't bothered because they checked in with us and apologized and let us know they're waiting for us to be seated together. The location is nice because there is street parking, as well as a large public lot across the street. Having things like food and a park, are super nice too. Its downtown but not in the middle of the thick of it. I have had two pedis here now: one gel and one regular polish, both times i left happy. They listen to what you want and get you in the chair right away. The nice stone massage option I chose was heaven and the entire thing takes about an hour maybe more- so if youre in a rush just let them know, they just want you to be happy. I saw that this nail spa had good ratings and I had never tried it before, so I called and made an appointment! They had an opening at the time I was hoping for which was an immediate relief! I walked in a few minutes early and one of the ladies already knew my name from booking the appointment which was a nice surprise. I checked in and they called me over, by name, and started my perfectly heated pedicure bath. The nail techs were so gentle, and did an amazing job filing and shaping my nails. I was in much need of a pedicure today, and was able to walk right in here without a wait. Although the prices aren't bad, and the people were nice, I don't think I'll be returning here for a few different reason. First one is that they only accept cash. No where is this posted to let you know before your service. Which meant, when I went after my service when I went to pay they told me this, I had to go the bank and come back since I rarely carry cash on me. Second, the filing on my toes was done unevenly. They don't look professionally done. And since I chose white polish, it shows dramatically. She also used the drill to file, instead of doing it by hand. In the 15 years I've been getting pedis, no one has ever done that. The hot stones, paraffin, and mud musk were a nice touch, but thirdly, as my tech was doing all of this, she stopped to hug and touch another guest and put her hands right back on my feet. I'm totally not a germ-a-phob, but we are in the middle of a pandemic, and it made me feel uncomfortable considering we are suppose to be social distancing. They seemed to doing all the right stuff for COVID other than that. But after my first visit, I'm not sure I'll return. read more
