Update: the corners have that weird left over no-chip edge. And the side of some of the nails are uneven. My mom and I use to go here about 10-13 years ago and I totally have been reminded why we do go back. And the nail she had to wipe clean because of the attempted upselling of the chrome is still visible. Just a bad experience. She tried to upsell me several times making the whole experience very uncomfortable. No-chip on my toes, if I wanted to lengthen my nails with acrylic, if I wanted to add dip and then mid polish she put the shiny overlay to see if I wanted to do the rest to which I said no so she had to redo that nail. So awkward. I just want the services I asked for. I have to keep my hands tidy for work and this was a big expensive for me considering the current tone of the nation and everything being expensive. I agreed to what I wanted. After all done I said I didn't like it. He didn't understand what I was saying until someone helped out with translation. Yes he did a full service of gel pedicure and I agreed that all was good. When it was done I didn't like the white on the tip. I dod like the pink underlay. It wasn't his fault but mine which I get. Before going here I saw complaints of being quoted $35 and having to pay $40 at the end. While I was getting my nails done I heard them same numerous times their price was $35 and up. I've patronized this salon for more than 5 times and have had a few different nail techs. I thought I had found my person with Tee only for her to leave the spa. I went to whom I thought was just as good but I didn't realize this tech, Tram, preferred the clientele she grew to love and practically obsess over and would be unable to offer concentrated service to new clients. My first visit, one day ago, began fine until a client she hadn't seen in a while showed up. I had an appointment so this customer came more than halfway through my own service and was told to sit next to us. After that, Tram couldn't concentrate for micro managing other techs and began working at a faster speed than required. I left with nails that were good because I had chosen what I wanted but I had a change of heart the next day. I called the spa for a color change and returned. The day before, I had a powder fill, cat eye w/ French tip. $55 & with coupon, $45. Nice price. Today, I had a color/polish change on acrylic....same style just different color. Now, before I continue I have to add that Tram seemed annoyed to see me and moved with voracious speed. AGAIN. I figured maybe she thought I didn't expect to pay for the services. After my polish change, she quickly said $40........One day before, my complete fill with cat eye and French tip was $55. So for half the work within 24 hours, I pay a third of what I paid the day before? I felt like had I been one of Tram's preferred clients, that would not have happened. I own a business, I recognize the price is the price. I also can detect preferential treatment when I witness it and Tram is a white groupie whom I have no intention of ever seeing again. I didn't understand her unwelcoming behaviour and did not appreciate her speedy Gonzales service. I've been going here for about four years now and I recently tried this new chrome polish. For some reason the next day the chrome came off my nails, so I called them and I told them. I went back and they sent me down and I waited about 20 minutes before somebody came to get me and when the lady redid my nails, she took the chrome off and put some new chrome on and now the nails look worse than they did at the first time I think she should've just started completely over so the polish wouldn't be our lumpy in this figured. Sisi is my go to person. She does a fantastic job every time. Very personable and always has ideas when you are feeling stuck with colors/design. Totally 5 starts for Sisi. I typically call and schedule a time to come in. Even if you don't call in the wait typically isn't long, you just may not get your "go to" person. The spa is huge with plenty of nail and pedicure stations. My only beef is those pedicure chairs. Several of the chair backs have this gap that is incredibly uncomfortable. read more

I thought I would look past the bad reviews and go here... Worst mistake ever. First off, I got a basic pedicure... which was fine except the lady got a horrible attitude. She then proceeded to bug me about getting "no-chip", I had to of said no about 5 times and she kept her bad attitude. After I had waited 10 minutes for her to even come do my pedicure, I requested to get basic almond acrylics.... and oh my. I waited another 10 minutes for her to.... I'm not really sure. She comes back and does the basic process, then... while she's buffing the acrylic stuff out... she cuts my pinky by my cuticle. I brush it off like uh okay! She continues to do this to every.single.one. of my nails. Dosen't apologize or anything. Better yet, my nails... are crooked (and no it's not my finger it's the literal nail). And don't you worry... it gets better. She then bugs me AGAIN about how I "needed" to get no-chip. I got tired of her asking because all she kept saying was "Its cheap, its only $10 extra". Like uh... every occur to you I'm on a budget? Anyways, I cave because she's irritating me and I came to relax. I look at my nails in utter disappointment as I go to pay... I went here for the first and last time with my 11 year old to get bday nails for her and pedicures. The woman who did my daughter's nails did an ok job with shape and design but filed my baby's nails so much that she literally had holes in her nail bed after the soak off. My nail tech (Jim or John) was his name, was Very rude! He didn't want to listen to my instructions in the beginning so I did not get what I really wanted because I refused to pay him more than the regular fee for a very basic full set! I told him I didn't want thin nails because I work with my hands and filed the life out of nails until I pulled my hand away and told him that's enough! They definitely tried to up-charge the pedi. Very, very disappointed in this manicure. I spent an hour and 50 minutes getting a fill in and a brow wax and this is how I walked out. The lady dropped brow wax in my hair at the base of my hairline and then had to oil up my freshly washed hair to remove it and then rubbed rubbing alcohol to remove the oil. My hair is fucked. This was my favorite nail spa, however they charged me $50 for the basic pedicure which is normally $30. The technician rushed to get me in and out of the chair, I was at the shop for a total of 15 minutes. People come to get their nails down to relax and enjoy the experience and it's not really relaxing when you are rushed then stalked at the atm so you can tip, when you didn't want to tip because you felt cheated by the service. I drove 40 minutes to specifically be at this place and I won't ever do that again. I hope the $50 for the classic pedicure was worth losing a loyal customer. I wanted to get my acrylic removed and get a dip powder with my natural nail. The guy who did my nails didnt even remove all the acrylic off of my nail and started to do the dip powder even with the acrylic on still. Horrible the service and the staff are very unprofessional. There was a lady that did my pedicure named Jessica talked about me the entire time I was getting my toes done and laughed with the other employees about it! I asked someone else to finish my pedicure and she got upset and walked off but continued to linger around making jokes to the other employees about me and they all were staring at me! It's like a cattle call. Rushed in and out in 20 mins. Chair was broken and old. The young man that did my pedicure didn't even do half of what he was supposed to. (He and the girl next to him was to busy talking about my Oberweis cop I had). I have an ingrown toenail and I still have one. From what I witnessed, they reuse the shoes and toe separators and tools. If I had known that up front, I would have never allowed them to work on me. I went back Tuesday and he removed all the nails and redid my fullset and a week later they are falling off again... I had nail polish on my nails and the technician started taking it off with an electric nail file and in the process also burned me. My nails look ridiculous, all lumpy and bumpy and misshapen.
