I've been putting off having a plumber come out to fix my drains. I wanted to say I had a great experience with Hugo. 1st he was prompt and came out same day. I had my kitchen sink clogged for 3 days. On Sunday I called Roto-Rooter, what a shitty service and a thief (charge $500 and they didn't even unclogged it)... DON'T EVER call Roto-Rooter... After they try to get more money, additional $700 bucks to come back the next day to try to fix it, I do research that night. Bam, I found Diamond Plumbing and Rooter.. Alfonso came the next morning. Wow, what a service.. He took care of the clogged where Roto-Rooter could not and only cost 60% of what Roto-Rooter charged.. Alfonso had a hard time trying to get it unclogged but he never gave up. I've had sewer lateral blockage problem every 1-4 years for the last many years and called out different plumbers to clear the blockage, and they were good. I tried Diamond this time, and Alfonso was great! He was extremely professional, explained everything he did along the way, and in words that a homeowner (me) can understand. He cleared the blockage and ran the snake 100 feet to clear anything else that may have been further down the pipe. I called Diamond plumbing to inspect a sewer smell coming from our front bathroom. Hugo was able to send someone that day and they discovered a water leak under the house. The water had to be remediated before they could identify the source of the leak. Hugo recommended ARC water damage and coordinated with them to contact me. Highly highly recommend Diamond plumbing! At 11pm on a weeknight our newly installed showerhead sprung a leak and was dripping through a recessed light downstairs. We had a problem with flushing system in a non-standard toilet. Required device that we bought somehow did not work. A plumber from another company said that they do not have the needed element (prices of those elements are less than $15) and that we should buy a new toilet :=). The environment actually required not only toilet replacement, but full bathroom remodeling. Called Diamond Plumbers (thanks to Yelp). Alfonso came at scheduled hour and agreed that the case is complicated. He measured the elements of the system and left for an hour. Returned with several pieces, one of which after some work fit the flushing system. Of course the price was higher than usual, but we are happy we do not need bathroom remodeling. Miguel came by and assessed our leaked pipe / clogged pipe situation. Told us the pricing up front and told us all the options we had. He didn't have to do this but chose to anyways. He said we could go through our home warranty or call our remodeling contractors; either option would potentially save me hundreds of dollars, which we ended up doing. But he could have just said he can fix and we would have happily paid him to do it. What he did though really helped us out, and there's no way in hell we are going to ever reach out to anyone else about home plumbing issues in the future.
