When my grandma was doing laundry drying clothes, my grandpa noticed that hot air wasn't coming out of the vent so he grabbed his ladder and flashlight and looked in the vent. Gave him a downpayment said he forgot the contract, he said he would send to us. We asked multiple times, still none. Very convenient. His employees completed the job and they were hacks. My husband had called John and told them we were not satisfied, with the work and to come and see it. He didn't show for two days. So, I called John and told him the job was totally unsatisfactory, he argued with me stating that the employees said they did a great job and they showed him pictures. I told him to come over and look for himself and I too had pictures showing a totally different picture of their work. During the time Ed called and I called he cashed the check knowing we were not satisfied. I asked him why he did it, his excuse was it was for materials. In the State of California, it is illegal to cash a check for over $500 without a contract. There was a…read morehome depot order that I want him to pick up before he came to my property and he also agreed that he would pick up for extra costs. I was very happy that he would do that for me and was planning to give him the job in the $600 range. In the morning, I called again, and looks to me he blocked my phone and without even telling me if he is gonna skip me or what. So he basically disappeared on day of appt and made me stranded without a single headsup. My home depot was already shipped and waited him to pick up. After email, txt and even facebook message, he finally said he would need to cancel, 1 hour before original appointment time. If you like to get cancelled last minute, go ahead and hire him.
