I wanted to find a small shop that wasn't a big box store or in the mall and Diamonds by Monet checked all the boxes. Their jeweler did a wonderful job joining the rings together in a very timely manner and for a very reasonable cost! My first experience with Diamonds by Monét was when my daughter was getting married in April 2021. I had diamond pendant that belonged to my mother and it had 20 diamonds in it. I suggested to my daughter, she use the diamonds in this pendant for her wedding band. Her fiancé had already bought her a beautiful engagement ring. We met with Joe and my daughter described what she would like and he was able to make the perfect wedding ring with 10 of the diamonds. There were 10 diamonds remaining and it was suggested by Joe and my daughter, that I have the same ring made for myself! So very special because now we both have beautiful rings, made out of my mom's pendant! The price was very fair and the results were beautiful! Let me start by saying I got engaged to my husband 10 years ago and at the time I loved the slim halo style. We got this ring in LA so it would be a long day to take the ring for cleanings/maintenance/repair. Because of the micro pave diamonds on my engagement ring, often times the diamonds would come out of the band. It was always a chore getting it fixed. Reluctant to take it to a new jeweler, I found Diamonds by Monet and we decided to give it a try. We were greeted by the friendly front staff and explained that we needed a stone replaced and ring repaired. Joe, the owner came out and gave us a reasonable estimate, but also was honest with us telling us it is really a matter of time before it would happened again. This is something I was aware of and just dealt with it for these past 10 years, which was pretty stressful always having to worry about stones falling out of my ring. With the beautiful show room, I actually found a simple solitaire setting and I decided to just reset the stone, and keep the original setting to eventually drop a colored stone into someday. The team at DBM were friendly with a quick turn around and I almost cried when I saw my ring (will post before and after pics) it's more beautiful than I could have imagined. This is my new place! I moved from San Diego and needed to fix my necklace and ring, I paid at least double the price to get it fixed here in Temecula at Diamonds by Monet. I also received a quote to sell one jewelry item at 25% of other quotes I received. They extremely low balled my item and I left the store insulted. I had some old broken gold jewelry and always wondered if it was worth anything so I stopped in to one of those sell us your gold places. The person acid tested all of my gold and categorized it by karat. They offered me $340 and asked for my ID. I politely declined and let them know that I was going to also get a quote from Diamonds By Monet. The person quickly offered me 10% more and tried to scare me by saying the offer would only be good right now as the price of gold fluctuates. I thanked them again and walked out. Thank goodness I did! I walked into Diamonds By Monet and was greeted right away. I told them that I had some gold I wanted to sell. Moe examined all of my gold with a jewelers loupe and separated by karat. I few pieces were sent to the back to have the karat verified. I quickly found out that the previous gold place incorrectly categorized some of my 24k as 18k!!! Moe ran the numbers and said it was worth $810! He didn't pressure me to sell it which I appreciated. How could I say no? I let him know that I want to sell it and handed over my ID, signed my name and was handed $810 in CASH!! Transaction completed in less than 15 minutes. Thanks again Moe!! I decided to write a review after my experience I wouldn't want any one else to go through what I did with my engagement ring in hope this review would help someone's decision. My fiancé purposed with a ring that was not purchased from here the ring size was way to big (size 9) I needed the ring resized. Do to my fiancé purchasing the ring from a jeweler out of state I searched in hope for a local jeweler to resize my ring! After reading all the great reviews on here I did not experience the same. I took my ring to be resized from a size 9 to a 7 Marie and joe reassured me sizing down that much would be fine! So I left the ring to be resized days later the ring was ready when I picked up the ring I instantly noticed the cut from the resize. My beautiful ring definitely looked resized and noticeable when I tried the ring for a few days I noticed it still seemed huge. I called and spoke with Joe to ask what he thought about resizing the ring and once again he said it should be fine and bring the ring back! So I did this is where my experience got even worse they resized the ring down to a 6 1/2 when I picked up the ring for now the second time the cut in the ring was even more noticeable and all along the bands were small scratches that were noticeable! Then to bring the ring back home and realize that one of my prongs holding the main diamond was snagging badly and completely off centered. I brought the ring back for the THIRD time voiced my concerns to Marie and Joe they once again told me they would check the prongs and make sure all the diamonds were tight. Two days after leaving the ring for a THIRD time I called to follow up for Marie to have her tell me they needed to take the ring to their Diamond setter which was confusing to me because why would you let me leave with the ring snagging and off-center and after you assured me everything was checked and tight. To finish up my bad experience I ended sending the ring back to the original seller which was so kind to help me after this nightmare and when the jeweler that sold my fiancé the ring had saw the ring and the work that Diamonds by Monet had done from resizing he was in shock over the phone with me with how badly the ring had been scratched up and cut from resizing! Luckily for me my ring is in good hands now and has been fixed properly and completely smoothed out! The horrible cut from the resize and scratches are no longer noticeable from what diamonds by Monet did. For another jeweler to comment on how badly the ring was messed up is what is scary! read more

My very first time here and my VERY LAST!!! Employee Mary is not trustworthy! I pass by this jewelry store every time I eat at Bush Fire Grill or shop at Trader Joe's. I am a jewelry person and usually shop at Ben Bridge but I thought about supporting a small business. Worst mistake as Mary tried to overcharge me! There was a four leaf clover ring that I really like that I saw online! The sales person was Mary wanted to sell for full price of $849. I had to ask if there was a sale or if this was the final price to where she offered a 30% discount and said she could sell it to me for $595!Go to THEIR WEBSITE to look at ring and the price is $399!!!! I was just seeing if Mary was honest and trustworthy but she wasn't. She was trying to make money off of me. I then told her about the online price and asked if they could match it and she said "our website is out dated the owner never has time to fix it." Mind you a customer can order that ring off the website for $399 with free shipping and free resizing TODAY! The reason I went in there was to have a look to see if I like it but at this point I don't trust Mary. I also don't trust the diamonds there due to Mary because why the price jump from in store to online ? I feel this whole experience working with Mary was awful as the least they could have done to make it right was to give me 30% of the $399 price advertised online but Mary pulled every excuse in the book and said she could not sell me a ring for 90% off which is NOT accurate because giving me 30% off $399 would bring the ring's final cost down to $279 which would be 67% off the "original cost" of $849, 67% off NOT 90% off as she claims. 90% off $849 would be $85 and not the $279. In summary, MARY IS JUST UNTRUSTWORTHY trying to sell a $399 ring for $849. Don't shop here go to another jeweler! read more
