I gave Keller Jewelers a bad review a couple of weeks ago and I reviewed it harshly. I was very surprised by how well they fixed my jewelry. After getting my jewelry back, they looked absolutely stunning. The ring that needed repair looked brand new and it looks amazing. My silver necklace also came back lovely. When I started to pay for the service they gave me, to my surprise they didn't charge me for any of the repairs!! I could not believe it. I got all my repairs done for free. Because of the quality of my repairs and then not charging me for any of it. I must say that Keller's Jewelry is top notch in quality of their products, jewelry repair and satisfying customers needs. I will be coming back to Kellers Jewelry for all my jewelry repairs. Kellers Jewelry has my business from now on. I went to Keller to get my wedding ring sized after losing some weight, the jeweler asked if I planned on losing more weight and I said I was hoping to. He said he didn't want to size it and then for me to have to size it again if I lose more. He gave me a sizer to tide me over until I was done losing weight. Such a nice guy and a great business. Based on wonderful recommendations from a most beloved friend whom I trust implicitly, I brought a broken, Brighton bracelet to Keller's in the slim hope that it could be fixed. Unfortunately, due to the soft metals that Brighton use in their jewelry, it could not be fixed. I appreciate the attempt and the candid honesty of the master jeweler. Other places would have done the "repair", charge me accordingly, and it would have broke again in another spot. I stopped in to get my new Bolova watch fitted. The gentleman came from the back took the watch and had it sized in about 3 min. Asked me how I liked the size and told him it was good. I like it a little loose. He recommended he take one more link out but I didn't. Went to pay and only had my debit card. I didn't know the minimum transaction was 20 for debit and gad no cash. He said, just bring it by when you can. That was very generous of him. I returned the next day to get one more link removed from the watch and to pay him. This would be the last time that I would ever go to this establishment. I dropped off a chain to have repaired on a Friday. they told me it would take an entire week to fix. They also told me it was gonna cost $76 to repair. I started looking up different chains that I could buy for the price of getting it fixed. I called their establishment on Tuesday because they were closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. left a message saying please do not repair. I have decided to buy a new chain. They called me Wednesday morning and explained the chain had already been fixed over their three day weekend that they had off. I did not feel that that was fair. due to the fact, they had said it was gonna take an entire week. I was assuming by what they said it would be fixed by Friday then I proceeded to ask them how much is the chain worth? She said she would have to weigh it to figure that out I had said to her, could you please weigh the chain, she proceeded to tell me she could weigh the chain as soon as I picked it up. at this point, I figured out this was just a game. I felt it was really unfair that I was treated like that at that point I just told her go ahead keep the chain then she told me go ahead and send me an email and then we can go ahead and scrap it, Then she went to tell me that they were able to do it over there three day weekend and fixed it because the owner needed to go on vacation. At this point, I wish they could just explain to me at that time that that was the case instead of telling me it was gonna take a entire week a business.. if there is an unhappy client. I'm always willing to work something out in order to make the situation fair for both parties.. that did not happen here. that was given to me by my mother, and they explained to me it wasn't even worth repairing. I had explained to them it was because it was given to me by my mother. To me this business is unfair and has shady practices after I explained to them that I was going to leave them a lovely review on Yelp. They decided to give me a call and explained that it was only gonna cost $45 to repair and that the chain 6 grams. it's just completely amazing that I asked her to weigh it before and she explained when you come pick it up wait it for you. to me it seem like they just play games. I would definitely beware of using this company with any of your jewelry. I will never use this business again. There is another jewelry store. That is much better. It is in Sun City off of Bradley they're very helpful so I hope to the owners of the jewelry store that this review finds them well. read more

What a great experience! I came in on a Thursday, looking for a very unique type of screw backing for one of my earrings. I hadn't worn them in so long because I didn't have a back for it. I chose Keller's jewelry because a lot of people had mentioned them on Facebook, so I thought I'd give them a try. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with, a friendly "hello", and "welcome"! I love my necklace! My boyfriend recently bought a white gold whale tail pendant and chain for my birthday at Keller's. He's worn a white gold whale tail necklace for decades and he wanted ours to match. Susie was able to find the company that made his so long ago and she made a call to see if they could still make the same size, shape, etc. They could and did! When the pendant came in, my boyfriend wanted us to have matching chains too, but Susie was able to steer him in a more " feminine" direction regarding the size of the chain. His intentions were wonderful and symbolic, but I'm glad he was persuaded to get the more delicate chain I now happily wear. It's absolutely gorgeous! Ok. I'll start at the beginning. I rang the bell twice. You can not hear it. Apparently they can. I was buzzed in. I asked the women if she heard the bell because I couldn't. She said "yes like four times". Next I tried to explain what I wanted. The women road blocked me from everything I wanted. It was like I was bothering her. I kindly explained that my jeweler is in Mission Viejo so I need one here. She said well let me get ralph and see if he could help you. The women proceeded to leave and out comes the jeweler Ralph. I once again explained what I was looking for. I was told all the reasons why my requests won't work. The jewelry won't even agree to size a ring because he said it wouldn't work. These people don't want my buisness. I am the Manager of a huge social group in Murrieta and well known in the commmunity. I will not be referring them. Honestly it's dissappointing that these people are more interested in all the reasons why something can't be done rather then helping their customers with solutions. I first came across Keller's when my main diamond fell out of my engagement ring! I was so scared to take it somewhere and leave my ring, it's just so hard to trust the integrity of some businesses. I was recommended to Keller's Jewelers after asking for referrals to local jewelry stores in hopes of having my favorite necklace repaired. Out of 30 recommendations, 27 people highly recommended this family owned business so I had to give it a try! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by both Susan and her mother. They were very helpful and truthful about how my necklace would likely be affected after the repair. For reference, my cross diamond necklace was knocked onto the carpet as I was vacuuming and unfortunately I ran it over. Thankfully, I was able to recover the necklace and chain out of the vacuum, but the cross broke in half at one of the diamonds. Susan was very honest with me and told me they could repair it, but gave me an idea of how it would possibly affect the appearance. The estimated repair cost was very reasonable and I was contemplating taking the chance (as a repair could be better than the broken piece), until Susan kindly showed me a few cross necklaces she had--one being very similar to mine (diamonds are lab grown). She educated me on the difference between the damaged necklace I brought in and the others she had, but was not pushy and didn't make me feel like she was trying to get me to make a purchase. I am very thankful she was honest and shared the different options with me should the repair not go as desired. She even stated that if I wasn't satisfied with the repair/if it didn't look right, they wouldn't charge me for it. I certainly appreciate the willingness to satisfy the customer as well as do business with integrity. She spent nearly 30 minutes with me showing me various pieces of jewelry I looked at and although I definitely didn't plan on making a purchase, I felt it made the most sense to purchase the new cross (lab grown, 14K) as opposed to attempting the repair and that cost. She applied a 25% discount to the new cross and it is MUCH better quality and clarity than the one I purchased at Macy's previously (they mark up their jewelry outrageously). In all, I am very satisfied with the customer service, friendliness of the owners, and their honest, transparent approach. I definitely will be a returning, long-term customer. Keller's Jewelers is an incredibly helpful jewelry store run as a family operation, which means they provide the caring & personalized service one would expect from a non-department store/corporate enterprise. I've personally had them do work on sterling silver chains that have been put through the proverbial wringer of everyday use & abuse that most jewelry would not dream of being subjected to. Their custom craftsmanship has stood up to the test of saltwater & surfing, hiking at elevations of 14,000+ feet, motorcycle racing, & this at a daily use. Not saying everything of theirs will hold it's form through that, but mine did. On the more "delicate" applications/usage of their jewelry, I've bought earrings, rings, & necklaces for my mom & girlfriend that they both have greatly appreciated & loved. After taking my ring a few other stores (including the one I bought it at) I decided to bring it here for a quote on repair. My prongs were dust and as a result my center stone had fallen out, something I know could have been prevented if my other jeweler had done their jobs. I walked in and was greeted by the sweetest woman, who told me exactly what I'd been told before, I need a new head for my ring and it obviously was going to need to be re set, she asked me when the last time I had it checked was I informed her I get it checked at least once a year because the prongs have always been a problem. Services I have always had to pay out of pocket for as well. She then told me about how they check and clean rings for their customers every 3-6 months so things like this wouldn't happen, for FREE!!! I thought that was pretty awesome considering my jeweler has never offered that, and I had just had my ring in to them for repair and they assured me it was fixed...did I mention this was also the place we had originally bought my ring, so you can imagine my disappointment She then had me talk to her brother , which is also the jeweler. He confirmed again what I was going to need, I confirmed, and he then quoted me a price that was actually $50 lower than the place I bought and have always taken my ring to get serviced! It was on par with a couple other quotes I had so I felt good about this place. I gave them my info, took my ticket, and waited for what I thought was going to be a week. To my delight I actually got a call one day prior to it being a week with them saying my ring was finished. When I picked up my ring it looked brand new!!!! It has t looked this good since the day we bought it! They set it in an all new setting and cleaned it all out to make it shiny and new. They were amazing! Not only explaining to me why and what they did but reminding me to come in and have it cleaned and checked every 3-6 months. And I wouldn't make a big deal about that but in the 9 years we've had the ring our jewelers have never offered us anything like that. We always prefer supporting a small family business as opposed to a huge, more corporate store of any kind! The folks at Keller's are normally very helpful and considerate no matter whether you are purchasing a new item or needing a repair on an old piece. However, in this time of a very contagious virus, my husband and I were very disappointed to find that not all the Keller's staff (they are also the owners, I believe) were wearing masks, in consideration of their customers. At this moment in time, there is no question that wearing a mask is an act that shows care and concern for one's fellow citizens/customers, and conversely, refusing to wear one inevitably reflects the opposite message.
