I'll be honest, I'm more of a Marketplace and HomeGoods budget shopper, so walking in, I wasn't sure if I'd feel out of place. I had just finished a workout, dropped breakfast off for my son, had my dog waiting in the car, and definitely wasn't looking my best. What impressed me most was how welcoming and kind everyone was. I was treated with genuine respect, and the staff took the time to help me without making me feel pressured or judged. The experience was comfortable, enjoyable, and completely exceeded my expectations. I ended up finding a piece that I absolutely love. It's now the focal point of my sitting room and makes me smile every time I walk into the space. If you've ever driven by and thought, "That place is probably too expensive for me," or worried you wouldn't fit the vibe, I encourage you to give it a chance. You might be surprised. All of these were very adorable. The cashier that night was a very nice man who used to be a photographer. They have a few items on Nebraska. It's about a 30 minute drive from Omaha and we had no problem finding it. My first impression was that it was way bigger than I expected and totally worth the trip!! I regularly buy Baker's chocolates at the grocery store but there was so much more selection and the prices were cheaper. For example, the bag of Patriotic Mix was $12.95 while it's usually $16.99 at Hy-Vee for the same thing. Besides the chocolates they are known for, they also had a large selection of saltwater taffy, fudge, and a ton of other candies, some I haven't seen since childhood. In addition to candy, they also sold a lot of locally made food stuffs like Rotella's bread, Mi Mama tortillas, Valentino's, Dorothy lynch, salsas, dips, jams, jerky, spaghetti sauce, you name it. They even had t-shirts, hats, and a refrigerated section for various meats. It was really cute inside and a lot of places for photo opportunities. There was a bench inside and a covered patio outside with a big parking lot. The staff were quick, efficient, and friendly. Glad I finally got to visit this place and I will be back again when my sweet tooth feels the need. :)
