I was running late the day I was to pick it up but he was nonplused and brought everything to the car. It had all been fully chilled so I didn't have to worry about it 'melting' before I got to the party, All the guests were very complimentary about the look and taste of both the cake and the cupcakes. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect.
