It's been a couple of years since the last time I came here. They have expanded their menu and the ambiance is relaxing. I stopped by to get a small cake for my 4 year old daughter. I wanted nothing fancy but did want a delicious tres leches cake. Unfortunately, the only small cake they had was a blend of strawberry lemon. I purchased that one and had high hopes; however, the cake was extremely sweet and tasted very artificial. I was told the cake would have strawberries for the filling but there was none. Lastly, they have gotten very expensive. The cake was $50 and it was one of the smallest. Their medium size cakes are $80. I was craving some Mexican corn in a cup. I was in the area and had forgotten about this place. I've had some here a long time ago and it was delicious. So to satisfy my craving I stopped by and grabbed two cups to go. Again delicious and they add just the right amounts of all ingredients. The ambiance is very relaxed and the decor is really cool. Has a very homey feel. Very clean both times I've been here. I was greeted immediately and told I would be taken care of as soon as they finished with the customer placing his order. I didn't have to wait longer than a couple minutes for my order to be placed and was delivered fast. The problem. I asked for the cups to go and when they were given to me they had no lids. I asked for a lid and I was given a cup carrier made for four drinks. No lids for the corn cups available. She placed them in the carrier and it seemed like they were secure but I should have known better. I didn't even leave the parking lot and my beloved corn took a dive. Talk about being furious. I was. One for the set up without a lid and seeing my delicious corn spill was heart breaking. Why don't they have lids is beyond me. I've included photos of the jumping corn. Taste is on point. How to get my corn home is horrible. Please fix the issue so I can be back and enjoy some corn and not worry about it trying to dirty my car. So if you have some corn to go make sure you insist on a lid or bring a driver while you hold your cup so it won't spill. read more

for $70 this should have been better, celebrated my 21 birthday yesterday with ine of their most simple tres leches and had asked for just strawberries, they gaves me a few HALF strawberries and a whole lotta blue berries that i did not asked for also the man who helped me was incredibly rude. but I didn't complain bc it was just fruit and its be fine, as we eat the cake later , it is close to DRY.
