Diana's has a menu with a good variety of food types, From Mexican, American and Greek to who knows what else. As the name suggests it's a hot dog place. However hot dogs seem to be more of a sideline to their packed item choices. Burgers, Dogs, Gyros, Tamales and the list goes on. My most frequent order is either the two dog and fry special or the gyros. Today was the two dogs and fries. Their dogs are Vienna beef brand which is my favorite. They serve this on a steamed bun, I get mine Chicago Style, with all the great garnishes. They wrap the two hot dogs together with a sizable portion of fries and off you go. I don't like how the buns get squashed with this method but this is a common way with hot dog joints. The fries are the medium thickness type and always cooked to perfection fresh to order. This place is a hole-in-the-wall but this type of restaurant typically has great food and this one does as well. The owners, service and employees are over the top friendly. Always very welcoming and polite. I have been going here for many years and plan to continue for many more!

I live this place. Very reasonable prices and in my opinion they might have the best gyro in the west suburbs.

First time in the Chicago area and I KNEW I had to make a stop at the famous Portillo's! Portillo's…read moreis an iconic Chicago fast food spot that locals swear by. Everyone I have met from Chicago absolutely loves this place and make sure to come here when they're back home. Their menu consists of a lot of Chicago staples such as the Chicago dog, Italian Beef, Beef & Sausage, along with burgers, chicken, salads, and their famous chocolate cake. There is certainly something on the menu for everyone. The interior is nostalgic and reminiscent of the Chicago street scene during the 20th century. There is a lot of vintage memorabilia around the eatery that definitely adds to the ambiance. Service is wonderful, very helpful, and they keep the restaurant clean. Ordering is easy, you can do it on a tablet/screen or at the kiosk. Food doesn't take too long to come out and is made to order. I had to get a Chicago dog with everything on it while I was here as that is one of the things they are most known for. My friend and I also split a large fry and onion ring. The Chicago Dog "everything style" includes mustard, relish, celery salt, freshly chopped onions, sliced red ripe tomatoes, kosher pickle, and sport peppers piled onto a steamed poppy seed bun. This was definitely one of the best hot dogs I've had! The snap on the hotdog itself was lovely and it had good flavor. The addition of all the Chicago Dog toppings worked so well together. This was certainly unique, but in the best way possible. Now both the fries and onion rings were out of the park. I'm a sucker for onion rings, and these were excellent. Not too heavily breaded or stringy, they were just how an onion ring should be. The fries were crispy and salted perfectly too. I will also note Portillo's isn't too expensive, especially considering the amount of food you receive. All in all, Portillo's lived up to expectations and I really enjoyed my meal here. I absolutely loved the retro interior as it was fun and captures the essence of Chicago culture. The service is great and they are very attentive. While I'm not usually a huge hot dog person, their hot dogs are an exception as tjeu high quality and stand above others. The sides are must orders as well, especially the onion rings! I will without a doubt be returning if I'm ever in the Chicago area. And next time I'll make sure to save room for their chocolate cake.

Dined in at Portillo's and had a pretty solid experience overall. I ordered the $9.99 meal…read more(cheeseburger, fries, and a Sprite) along with a double cheeseburger with fries. The burgers were good and cooked well, but I do think they could've used a bit more seasoning or flavor to really stand out. The fries, on the other hand, were really good--crispy and definitely the highlight of the meal. Service was efficient and the order didn't take long at all, which I appreciated. Overall, a decent spot for a quick bite, especially if you're craving classic fast food.
