When you're paying, they're already getting the other customer's (behind you) order. We went for an Italian beef sandwich to split as well as a side of fries and an Italian ice. Everything was excellent. Definitely the best Italian beef I've ever had and one of my friends said it was one of the best foods he had on his week trip here. Will definitely need to return!

I got a huge bag of salted popcorn which was crunchy, lightly salted and had just the right amount of oil. I would have taken a pic but my mom and I have inhaled more than half the bag already haha. I like how their ingredients for the kettle corn are so simple: corn, corn oil, pure cane sugar and salt. That's it! Why? Because they are one of the few remaining places that don't ask for a tip (via screen or signed receipt) when paying by credit card for carry-out orders. This wasn't an issue 11 years ago, but it disgusts me today. I've even cut down going to places like that, quite significantly. But I do wish Doggie Diner would take better care of the inside (and remove the HUGE sign that reads that they will be reducing the size of their menu in August, 2021). Ambiance still isn't checked above, as are food and service (gotta wonder why "eyesore" didn't trigger that?--c'mon Yelp). But it's checked now though, lol.

Meals are already cooked, you just have to reheat. I got the vodka pasta, chicken parmigiana, and crack cheese bread. Full meals are about $14-16. I think the cheese garlic bread was like $6-7 ish. Food portions are generous. You'll find Chef Jerry and Nick along with the family inside, making meals. Parking can be pretty tight because it's in a small, shared lot. If you can't find parking in the lot, you can find free street parking. It's not a busy road, so street parking is plentiful.
