I was taken back a little that we were charged 50 cents for water, $2.50 for one slice of Gouda cheese, and 50 cents for an oil and vinegar cup. There is also a 3% charge for using a credit card. The actual food was better before. My combo sandwich was somewhat bland. I remember the hot dog being bigger before. It went from a deli hot dog to a regular sized one. My wife thought the turkey burger was bigger before as well. Overall, I remember it being more flavorful in the past. My potato salad was still very good. The cannoli pieces were outstanding. The place was fairly crowded being Mother's Day, and the service was pretty quick. Turkey burgers take a while to cook. It's always lively but quiet in the restaurant which I like. I hope this was a one time dud experience, and I will be back, unless the cashier has another bad day, and the food is lacking taste.

The Chicago Dog "everything style" includes mustard, relish, celery salt, freshly chopped onions, sliced red ripe tomatoes, kosher pickle, and sport peppers piled onto a steamed poppy seed bun. This was definitely one of the best hot dogs I've had! The snap on the hotdog itself was lovely and it had good flavor. The addition of all the Chicago Dog toppings worked so well together. My family has been going to Tommy's since they opened in Glendale Hts. I'm sorry to say the service has slipped considerably in the last few years while the prices have gone up. We have had more issues of forgotten items, wrong items or old fries in the last 2 years and have decided to stop eating there. read more

Unnecessary construction and people driving really slow will prolong your commute. They are located on the far right side of Menards. I ordered the grilled Polish sausage plate and meat pierogies (steamed). You get a generous amount of food. I have enough for two meals. I like that they have different condiments for each entree. The meat pierogies were soft and filled. You get sour cream and hot sauce. The Polish sausage was juicy and easy to cut. The dinner roll was soft and moist. You get three different sauces for that. On a nice, sunny day I would recommend eating the food there while it's still hot. I took mine home because of the weather. Service was friendly. It seemed family owned. Prices were fair. Prices from a food truck are going to be different than in a restaurant. They are open from 11 am to 6 pm everyday except for Monday.
