    The REUBEN!!! Yum

This is a routine stop for us. Breakfast portions are always good, coffee is well made but the Reuben sandwich is one of the best ones i have ever eaten!! No menu needed, Reuben for the win! Their raspberry ice tea will give you diabetes if you prefer slightly sweet tea, ask for half raspberry, half regular tea :-). Service is always welcoming and the atmosphere is comforting.

It had been YEARS since I been here but was just as great as I remember! Service was TOP notch! My waitress was ON IT! Sooo good! Food was GREAT! Was fast to get, HOT and fresh. Atmosphere was just comforting and welcoming. Will DEF come back more often!

Our first time here while visiting Sandusky. They had great service, decent prices and portions.

The waitress was very snappy with me so that is the main reason for the two stars. As far as the food, we were staying the night before going to cedar point and couldn't find anything that wasn't a fast food restaurant other than this. They had a senior citizens menu that had decent prices and I got the salmon off of that menu and it was your typical frozen and then reheated salmon. It also came with choice of soup or salad and choice of potato or rice - which the waitress insisted that I get Rice!! My friend got the grilled chicken off the senior citizens menu and he said it was fine and it came with french fries. We both got the chicken noodle soup which came in a Styrofoam bowl and was a little bit greasy. Overall not a place I would come back to but it was acceptable for a non-fast food dinner!!

Perfect for when you need a late night, post-Cedar Point. Each time we've gone (just twice so far), the staff has been super friendly and personable, making us feel like regulars. But who am I kidding - it's the desserts I'm writing home about. My table had butterscotch, coconut cream, and buckeye. SO GOOD. Especially the buckeye which is what my stingy son got and only let me have a small taste. Can't wait for the next trip to Cedar Point so I continue to work my way through the Gianna dessert case afterward!

    A side salad.

Great selection and service. I don't understand how the rating can be so low, we had a great experience.

Great food, great service, cheap prices. Definitely a diner instead of a deli. Not sure why this place is rated so low

It was a smaller store front, cozy and a hidden gem! The restaurant has so much personality, with years of awards proudly displayed throughout the dining room. Before the food even arrived, we knew we had found somewhere special. We started with the Bistro Onion Soup and the Red Pepper Lobster Bisque. French onion soup and lobster bisque are two of my all-time favorites, so my expectations were high. The Bistro Onion Soup absolutely delivered--rich, flavorful broth, perfectly tender onions, and an incredible blanket of melted cheese. Easily one of the best onion soups I've ever had. The Red Pepper Lobster Bisque was equally memorable. The sweetness of the roasted red peppers paired beautifully with the lobster, creating a unique twist that really worked. My husband and older son both ordered the Momma Mia. A spaghetti sandwich? We were intrigued! My son gave it a 9/10 and said it tasted like a lasagna sandwich. He'd order it again without hesitation. My youngest chose Ziggy the Piggy and declared it "the best sandwich I've ever had." That's high praise from a 10-year-old! He gave it a perfect 10/10, and the sandwich was nearly as big as his head. Honestly, reading the menu made us want to come back just to try everything else. Every item sounded delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. That kind of hospitality is hard to fake, and it made us feel right at home. If you're passing through--or even if you're not--Zuppaman is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

I am leaving this review because what happened during my visit could have had serious consequences…read more I have a dairy allergy, not a preference and not lactose intolerance. Before ordering, I informed staff of my allergy and specifically requested that my sandwich be made without provolone cheese. My husband also reminded staff that I could not have cheese. We repeated this multiple times to make sure there was no misunderstanding. What makes this especially concerning is that staff clearly understood I had a dairy allergy. When I ordered a salad, an employee immediately informed me that the poppyseed dressing contained dairy and helped me switch to a vinaigrette. That showed they were aware of the allergy and the need to avoid dairy products. Despite all of that, my sandwich was still prepared with provolone cheese. I discovered it after I had already begun eating. For someone with a food allergy, that is not a minor mistake. It is a serious food safety issue that could result in a medical emergency. When I brought the mistake to the staff's attention, I was shocked by the response. Instead of receiving a sincere apology, concern for my safety, or an offer to replace the meal or issue a refund, the response was dismissive. The explanation given was that the employee thought the sandwich modifications were for my husband rather than for me. Food allergies should never be treated casually. Customers trust restaurants to take allergy warnings seriously, especially after being informed multiple times. What concerns me most is not only that the mistake happened, but how it was handled afterward. If you or a family member has a severe food allergy, I would strongly encourage you to consider this experience before dining here. Allergy-related mistakes can have serious consequences, and based on my experience, I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. I would run away from this restaurant either that or have the nearest hospital on speed dial, you might need a medic

Sometimes you just need to not eat fried food and this is the best place for healthier fare! Really tasty wraps, salads, and sammies. Don't sleep on their coffee, either, I got an iced caramel latte and it was perfect -- not too sweet and the coffee is really good and strong. We tried a little of everything: chicken salad salad, chicken salad croissant, a BLT, and a chicken ranch wrap. Everything was outstanding. Love the chips they have, too (made in Michigan). They're not too salty! There's a small gift shop area and a separate bigger gift shop/home decor in the space adjacent to the cafe. There's outdoor seating on a patio, too. Definitely recommend if you're visiting Catawba or Port Clinton or even just coming/going from Miller Ferry. Sorry I forgot photos! Trust me - it was 5 stars for awesome easy fresh deli food!
