Having read goods reviews about Ultra Nails, I decided to try it. My experience was wonderful! They are open late, so no pressure to get there early, the ambiance was cozy and comfortable, and the fish tank is especially relaxing. My nail tech (I forget her name, but I think she was the manager) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and shared several facts with me that helped me understand my nails better. She was very friendly and we had good conversation about our holiday plans. But most of all, she did an excellent job on my nails. Over two weeks later, they are growing out nicely. AND, she was able to apply the acrylic thinly, so as to make them look more like my natural nail. This is a difficult skill, apparently, as she is only the second person who has ever done this on my nails.

I called two places and they weren't able to squeeze me in for a walk in but TT's welcomed me with open arms and an open nail technician, Hoang! I got a standard manicure with gel polish, my nail tech Hoang even helped reconstruct a nail that I'd been having trouble with lately without me really asking, she just helped me tremendously! I think she used dip powder for the nail reconstruction and it turned out so well! She really took her time and did a great job with cleaning my cuticles, removing old gel polish, and repainting. Truly left me impressed and the price was right, about $45 for the whole thing not including tip. She even ended with hand massages! I haven't had a nail salon do this before so it was the perfect ending to a delightful experience. 10/10 recommend TT's Nail Salon, located right next to the Mattress Firm on City Walk Drive. Plenty of parking and they are open til 7:00 pm, which is perfect for those needing a visit after work. This place isn't nearly as busy as it should be during a holiday week so please go show TT's some love, they have new management and they're so appreciative of the business! Support local :)

I am a huge fan of Mani/Pedi combos. I really like a specific place, however for me it is about a…read more45 minute drive. I have recently decided to try a few other places closer to home. A friend had been to this place previously and recommended it. We will call her TT. TT had been talking this place up prior to us going, she said they are very nice, really listen, and get the nails that grow into the side. I know my toe nails do that if I go long enough without a pedi. So this is a plus for me. TT and I decide we would make reservations because we had plans later in the day and thought it would be a great start to our weekend. We went on a Saturday, now that would sound crazy busy which is another reason why we made the reservations 5 days in advance. When we arrived, they sat us down to start our Pedicures right away, the water was nice and hot (just the way we like it), and we picked our colors and were ready to go. As we were getting our Pedis a few other patrons walked in and were taken to either get mani's or pedis, they were "walk-in" clients. I know nail salons do this, but I have always believed in making reservations to make sure you are seen in a timely manner. I wouldn't want to waste the salons time or hope they wouldn't want to waste my time. TT got her pedi over with just before mine, and she was told by her tech to sit down to dry her feet because it would be about a 10-15 min wait till they could get to her mani. I was told to sit at a table, and my nail tech finished my pedi, and started on my nails. We were both confused, as to why I was started right away and she was told she had to wait. TT made it clear we had reservation. Also when TT asked why "walk-in's" were being attended to before her, two different techs just replied, that the manager must not have looked properly at the calendar/schedule. I thought this was kind of weird, because no one was taking ownership of their mistake or even apologizing. TT got upset decided not to get her mani. She paid and waited outside as I sat there drying my nails. As I sat there, another patron walked in and asked for a mani/pedi. The tech said they were busy and it would take an hour. At that time, their was 2 patrons getting mani's, and 1 person was getting a pedi. My nail tech wasn't doing anything. The lady got upset as she stated she had just called and someone(a female) told her to arrive at that specific time. Again not one tech apologized, or even took ownership of this issue. The Lady left upset. As I felt rushed, I didn't let my toes dry enough and I wrecked a nail so I ended up going back the next day to have it fixed. They told me to come back in an hour, and it was 1 nail. So I told them I could do it myself, if I had the color, but I wasn't able to purchase it, they decided to have me wait and they would "fit" me in. I waited 15 minutes before I was taken. I didn't complain, but during and after my wait time, three different patrons came in, 2 with a reservation(same group), and 1 without. The 2 with were told they were busy and to come back in 2 hours. They weren't happy but decided to rearrange their errands. Soon after they left, the patron without a reservation walked in and asked for services, and was sat down right after they fixed my nail. I thought that was a little peculiar. The overall things I noticed here is this.... 1. They don't take ownership of their mistakes. 2. It seems like they prefer walk-in's vs reservation. 3. It wasn't the most relaxing mani/pedi I've had. 4. I wasn't even really happy with the end result. I could have done a better job polishing my own nails if I had the color. End Result, I do not recommend this place. Maybe if you are desperate, and need a polish touch up, even then, get your desired color, and I will polish your nails for free. If the reason you go is to feel relaxed and for the massage and exfoliation. Go to a real massage place or different nail salon. **side note, I didn't even keep all the polish on. I kept my toe polish on, but I was so disappointed, I ended up polishing my own finger nails 2 days later.

I have terrible fragile nails and this is the first time I haven't had a chip or tear! Usually I am lucky to have a manicure last for 10 days -- and after 15 days my manicure still looked perfect. I only went in because of growth and wanting a different color. My second manicure is just as good as the first! In addition to being skilled, Tara is SO polite and really listens to what you want. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
