Use to be a good liquor store with decent prices and they sold cigarettes for 25 cents if you just wanted one. NOW the new owners treat everyone like dirt and jacked up prices on everything. 9 times out of 10 the guy behind the counter will be watching a movie and seems to be ticked off that you came in and interrupted his flick. Best place to go for craft brews. They have a great selection of California brews. Some of the rare brews out there can be found at this gem. Great selection of bombers, 6 packs, and liquors. I spent $55 on beer and wanted to get a few scratchers, I was paying with my debit card and the owner went out of his way to tell me I needed to pay cash for scratchers because the state doesn't pay for lotto transactions.... I don't need to buy beer from you and will not go to this store ever again. read more

So I been going to this liquor store for a few years and had always small talk with owner like it should be just being friendly and appreciate his local business. However, bad experience at this store tonight, I went in and he was working the isles (owner) and I asked if he had Sierra Nevada torpedoes in 12 pks and he said no so I got the pale ales instead. As I purchased the beer his co worker working the cashier had suggested if I tried the variety pack in Sierra Nevada I said no but maybe next time I can check it out. As I finished my purchase I decided to go back to the beer isle ( with my purchased beer) and see for myself the variety pack however, I didn't notice it so I just walked out. As I walked the owner was outside and had the courage to ask me twice after not hearing him the first time, "hey did you pay for that." I answered "yes I payed for it." He walked inside to check with his partner if I did. As I was driving away he came out and I was looking at him and he looked at me and I thought oh maybe he was going to say my bad I made a mistake but nothing he just kept on walking. Hey we make assumptions and mistakes but if you not man enough to admit them, screw you u, u lost a customer and more. I have gone everywhere in my native town to buy beer and never have been question like you did because I'm not that kind of person to not pay. You caught by surprise that is why I didn't react like I should of. All that bullshit small talk we always had and the one that probably bullshit talk you have with the majority of your customers is bullshit. All the time I bought your over price beer to support ( local business) fuck all that, your 12 pk Sierra Nevada (cans) for $20.12 I could of got it cheaper somewhere else but never again (Diaz Liquors) go to Rite Aid instead. Earlier in the day I went to the bakery on southside rd. they took a few minutes more with my order but when my order came they gave me more because they felt they made a mistake.
