I live equidistant between this DiBella's and the East Ave Dibella's and, while I find myself at the other spot more often, I have good memories of eating at this spot after moving into my house with my fam, and for quick pick ups since. The cookies at all DiBella's are just SO good. Are they the star of the show? No, that's the subs. Are they still outstanding?! YES! My usual order is a toasted turkey with ranch and BBQ and veggies - add bacon if I am feeling wild. The sandwiches are consistent and while the East Ave location is my preference, the staff here holds up to all other locations and the seating area here is quick nice, with an easy to navigate line if you forget to order ahead. I remember 20 years ago when you could go in and order a sub from this place and you'd be lucky if you could finish the entire thing . For around $12 a sub it was one of the best deals in town . I came into town this weekend and couldn't wait to order a steak sub from there and it was the most pathetic pile of crap I've ever seen in my life . We used to come here a lot, but they increased their prices, and the price is pretty steep for just a cheese sub, so we hadn't been back for awhile. I ordered from a different location last week with a Facebook coupon, and then got a 50% off coupon to use, so we ordered again! We got subs, cookies and mac salad for $13! I can't complain about that! I really like their everything rolls, although they're a little hard, and I also really like their sub oil. This was absolute trash. Order two small subs via grub hub. Both had Turkey on them and the first bite I took I knew and tasted the meat was trash. The Turkey tasted slimy, rubbery and I felt gristle. I literally had to pull the Turkey off and it even looked unappetizing. I'm irritated as ever because this wasn't a cheap order. I come to this DiBellas location all the time to eat and to pickup DoorDash orders as well. They've always been pretty darn fast and efficient. The store itself is always pretty clean and the low lighting is nice of course. The last two times (including today) I have come here has been awful and I'm so disappointed. The first time I thought maybe it was just a fluke but it's happened again today. I went in at 5:40 and just walked out now at 5:59. Almost 20 mins for two subs. They hadn't even started the chicken Philly after standing there waiting for almost 10 mins. Definitely not what usually happens at this store, it was very odd. I've noticed that they seem to be trying to make several orders at once when it should be by order of the tickets. First come first serve. They kept walking over and putting different subs in different bags instead of focusing on one at a time. The first time this happened was Monday evening around the same time and it was just the same issue. They were making orders all out of order and I had been waiting for 15 minutes before I finally asked when it would be ready. It looked like the older woman on the grill was the manager. I was told that she was starting my order right then. A few minutes later I didn't see it being made so I asked again and the girl I asked told me they didn't have a ticket for it and they were going to start it right then. I did eventually get the order but this just doesn't usually happen. I don't normally go to stores that take too long to make orders because I tend to get the backlash and receive low ratings. I ordered a turkey club salad-supposed to have tomatoes, bacon - picture online looks amazing. It was terrible. Turkey thrown on a bed of lettuce. I ordered online because I was in a rush. The order was promised at 7:45 - at 8:10 it was finally ready. So it toon 40 minutes to make 1 sandwich. Then you tell me there are no chocolate chip cookies. After making me wait you would like they could give me a bag of small cookies - but there is a price difference and my time not worth a small upgrade. So I ended up with a cookie I did not want and was late to where I was going - but I get to pay full price. Never again with this place. I have never gone and had a good experience. Fake grilled steak, tiny portions, 4 small slices of pepper jack.. so why put this on the menu!?? Let's go on to the medium Godfather sub. A couple slices of meat 3slices of onions and 3 pieces of what is supposed to be banana and hot peppers. Get your shit together here. DiBellas used to be great now it's crap. I've been a DiBella's fan for 30 years, but lately the magic is gone! twice in a row, I was served a sub-par sandwich, this last one was definitely subpar. Is it management or the workers? I ordered a Uncle Louie on a sesame seed roll and asked for 3 add ons. First of all; it was made it on a "SubWay" size PLAIN bread? 2nd I received 2 of the 3 add on's mayo and sweet peppers, but the extra meats consisted of just turkey, only 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of roast beef. and I have to add the Sandwich maker forgot the basics ingredients, lettuce, tomato, onions and the mustard. After a 15 min ride home, I unwrapped the sandwich noticed it was made all wrong, being hungry, tired and lazy to go back and complain I decided to try it, UGH! After 2 bites, I was done! The sandwich was unacceptable. The savings grace was I took out the meats and served it to my dog, I'm still stewing so I opened up a can of soup for dinner. It's going to be a long time before I go back to the Ridgeway store. read more

This location on E. Ridge Road never seems to be busy - which is a plus for me because I hate being surrounded by lots of people. The young guys in there are usually pleasant and quick to make the subs. I love the bread, but was a bit disappointed this last time when they were out of sesame seed rolls. I opted for multi-grain instead, but I really do love a sub with sesame bread. My biggest complaint is that there were too many crumbs on many of the booths. Okay to start I placed a very large order for my office this morning and everything was great! I then went in again to order my kid a meal and the sun people were great the lady that took my order was quick and efficient for the amount of people that were waiting in line. I had no problems up until I went to pay in which all stemmed from The miserable young lady at the register. I stood back in hopes for her to say "I can help who's next" or "can I help you" or "hello" literally anything would have been acceptable at the moment.
