This joint was ok. The restaurant was clean and the staff was helpful and happy. The food was amazing! Ordered the 2 meat platter with jalapeno cheddar kielbasa and pulled pork with jalapeno beans and cabbage slaw. Everything tasted delicious, was served warm-ish, and I enjoyed my meal. However, I wish the portions were larger. They provide heavy, thick plastic cups for fountain drink, as well as plastic straws in plastic packaging. I felt a little guilty throwing it away. Seems a little excessive and wasteful. I would rather have a paper cup for my beverage if that would increase the portion sizes. I did not use the bathroom, but my assumptions are that it was clean and neat, due to the fact this is a fast food chain style restaurant. Overall, it was good. Larger portions and cut down on the plastic use. Service was great and the place was clean. *Just a thought: Do not leave a bad review for a restaurant because of another business's faults. Use this strategy when rating a restaurant: - clean dining area & restaurant - helpful, happy employees & staff - was the bathroom clean, tidy and stocked - quality & quantity of food, wait time for service - anything that the business, staff, employees did to go above and beyond expectations

    The happy staff !
    Good C.

We enjoyed an outstanding meal consisting of a FULL RACK of ribs (for 2 people), a side of pork snd beans and two buttery rolls. We each had a soft drink (refillable). The total was $38.00 and worth every penny. We came home with a to go container for tomorrow's lunch !! The staff members are very polite andthey strive to make your dining experience a memorable one. We recomm4eating here for wonderful barbecue meats and dinners. I know that we'll be back !!!!

We started with the octopus appetizer and a gluten-free pita. The pita seemed more like a basic gluten-free pizza crust than traditional pita, but that was a minor point because the muhammara was excellent and the pita/crust worked really well with the octopus. They also did a good job accommodating gluten-free needs throughout the meal, via a dedicated gluten-free menu. For dinner, I had the stuffed pork chop, which had a somewhat Greek-inspired preparation. It was served over orzo and stuffed with feta and olives. Really flavorful, well executed, and a more interesting preparation than the typical pork chop. My wife had the duck and enjoyed it as well. We paired dinner with a bottle of Nebbiolo. Their overall wine selection was solid. The atmosphere was comfortable and polished without being overly formal, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Good food, interesting menu, nice atmosphere, and strong service.

We ended…read moreup here because we needed something open late and their kitchen was open till 11 which is not common it seems in Billings. If you're an iced tea drinker, I highly recommend getting a spiced iced tea. I was skeptical at first, but it's actually just cinnamon iced tea and was lovely. I had the nachos with ground beef. The sauce was not a generic out of the can sauce. the chips were crisp and the ground beef was well seasoned. The only complaint I have if I have to have one is that the jalapeños were very thickly sliced and took over the entire flavor of any bite they were in; a smaller dice on them would've allowed for the jalapeños to be spread out over the entire nacho and not overwhelm the rest of the flavors. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and said they were both a solid burger and fries no complaints. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible parking across the street with a crosswalk; the front door is heavy so you're gonna either need help or be able to open a heavy door and there's actually two doors but plenty of room to maneuver between. the path of travel wasn't bad and there's wheelchair accessible seating in the back of the restaurant. There is no wheelchair accessible seating in the bar area. The bathroom door was light .The accessible stall in the women's bathroom had a grab bar, but there was not sufficient turning radius and the soap was up a little high.

She even had to endure a few of my terrible dad jokes with remarkable patience.Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment this time.I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was priced at $20. It's a dish that's usually difficult to get wrong, but this version missed the mark in several ways. The sauce was overly salty, to the point that it overwhelmed the other flavors, including the tanginess of the sour cream that should have balanced the dish.I understand that the special was likely prepared using prime rib or another roast from a previous service, but the beef itself was overcooked to the point of being dry and chewy. The stroganoff was served over pasta that appeared to have been prepped ahead of time and quickly reheated, but it was significantly undercooked and had a tough, leathery texture.I also ordered a side of fried Brussels sprouts. While I realize they were cooked in a deep fryer, they too seemed undercooked. The centers were firm enough to be unpleasantly hard. That said, in the interest of giving an honest review, I have to emphasize that this experience appears to be an exception rather than the rule. My visits to Montana Jack have consistently been excellent, and I generally consider it one of the best places to eat in Billings, Montana. While this meal fell short of the experience I've come to expect, I fully intend to return and hope this was simply an off night in an otherwise outstanding track record

Ok, so, we started with crab cakes and oysters. The oysters were East Coast oysters and I'm from NY, so I had to get them. I haven't had raw oysters in over 20 years, and these did not disappoint! They were so delicious, I ordered 4 more, but they only had one more of the one I wanted, and I happily took it. The crab cakes were good, too. So maybe we should have quit while were ahead.... It took an hour to get our meals, and when we did, I was unimpressed. Mine was slopped onto the plate, with mashed potatoes smeared on the side and the sauce dripped on sides of the inside of the rimmed plate. The potatoes looked congealed, like they had been sitting out, and they had, because the food was cold. I asked for it to be heated up, and I'm fairly convinced they microwaved it, because the plate was warm, but the food still wasn't. The steak was extremely salty, potatoes gluely, and the broccolini was bitter and woefully under seasoned. My husband offered to switch plates. He has the pasta, which was also not very good, but at least it was hot. The description said andouille sausage, but it was clearly kielbasa, and the sauce was greasy and separated. Who hired these so-called chefs? Where did they get their degree? Do they even have one? We go out to eat so rarely. I'm a fantastic cook myself, so when we go out, we want the food we order to be better than what I can make at home. Especially at $30 a plate. So, alas, they get 2 stars, for the excellent service, the delicious oysters, and the beautiful ambiance. They apologized profusely and took my horrible dinner off our bill. We are so grateful for that. We will be back for a pretzel. And more oysters.
