Very friendly staff. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it pretty much put me into a food coma. Super good food and generous portions.

Online order: one rib plate and one chicken plate. When I got there I was informed that they were out of chicken. And out of everything else except brisket and pulled pork. Not a hint of customer service. Very rude employees. Marginal food. They are not shy about prices though. First time there ever. Never again. read more

Update. We all have bad experiences with companies. How they react to these experiences is important. As I mentioned above, I tried several times to get in touch with Dickies. I was working though an email address supplied via their Facebook page. I recently sent feedback about my experience through the corporate website. Literally within minutes I got a call from the owner of the restaurant who was very nice and arranged a refund. He gets notices of feedback concerning his store via the corporate website, but does not hear anything from the social media side so was unaware of my initial efforts. So, I am upping my rating for them. The owner really cared about his customers and it showed. My first experience was not great, but an owner like this deserves a second chance. read more

We are just driving through Gallup and needed an easy place nearby to feed 6. This place is disappointing. We ordered two of the 2 for $24 plates for pick up and after placing the order, they called to tell us they had no chicken and no turkey. While on the phone, with a full house in the background for us and just chaos in their background, the woman I spoke with seemed unhappy I could understand what she was saying. But fine, no problem. Then, once we got our food, no sauces anywhere even though a part of the online order is to choose your sauces. Got a salad, no dressing. Got rolls, no butter. I'm not quite sure who is checking these orders before they go out, but they aren't doing their part. The food was fine, brisket and pulled pork were pretty bland without the sauces we ordered.... Even the sides weren't that great. Avoid this place if you need something convenient. Pizza delivery exists. read more

I loved it. I ordered the 2-meat platter w/coleslaw and salad. I can see why some might say that the servings are small -- yet it was plenty for me. The meet -- beef and sausage-- was delicious. Service was great! I'd go back again for sure. read more

Mixed review baked beans and okra excellent Ribs better than average brisket nothing special . Pulled pork good baked potatoes casserole nothing special won't do it again. Cesar salad great but container used for it makes it hard to get dressing on. Blond brownie pretty horrible and that's being kind. Probably not a repeat customer. read more

I stopped here late (about an hour before closing) and got the pulled pork with jalapeno cheddar sausage. I enjoyed it. I at first thought that the portions were small, but as I ate my pork, sausage and two sides I learned quickly that I had enough/plenty to eat! I thought that the meats were perfectly smoked and the fried okra and curly fries were on point. Service was good wouldn't go much beyond that), Staff didn't seem to go "out of their way" but I was hungry; I wanted to eat and get back on the road and get to my destination. I recommend this place for the BBQ; all I can speak to is the pulled pork and jalapeno cheddar sausage, which I found super delicious. I'd like to see that at more BBQ places. read more

The food was good and the people behind the counter were friendly. However, this one of those newer Dickey's locations that doesn't sell their fried onion tanglers (the best side on their menu and some of the best fried onions anywhere) or offer free soft-serve ice cream. Those two things are what separate Dickey's from being just another fast-casual chain. These newer prototype locations that don't feature either are a middle finger from Dickey's to longtime customers. I will have no problem patronizing other Dickey's locations, but will never return to this one. read more

Meat was cold and tuff. Okra was undercooked; asked to replace it and they did but undercooked again. Roll was old and cold. Service was not very friendly. I don't think we will come back for a while. read more

4 guys...standing around. No one else in the restaurant. Bought my father dinner. We got a pulled pork plate and a Cubano sandwich. Both were cold.. not like it's not steaming hot. . . They were COLD. 1 of the dudes could have at least microwaved the meat for me..I would have called that a win at least. Sauces were average with very little parity. Fries were good I guess. Mac and cheese was meh. Skip this place. Nobody there cares. read more

Long drive... mouth watering and stomach growling... didn't eat snacks in the car to spoil appetite for some good, smoked meat bbq... Should have eaten the car snacks... Dicky's is a dry disappointment... small serving, fast food set up that serves under average dry meat... The sides are not any better... either canned or frozen... We got dinner from Dickey's while staying at the La Quinta and I wouldn't repeat that. We got two one-meat plates, each with Caesar salad and waffle fries. The meat tasted good but we got no fries and no salad dressing. So just some meat and undressed salad for $25. read more

The Two Meat & BYT platters are smaller in person than the website photos. Tasty food, but seems somewhat from a can. Good waffle fries. Very convenient if you're staying at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott. read more

Ate here while passing through. Hardly anyone there but I do not know why. The staff went out of their way to help us, and the dining room was spotlessly clean. We had the turkey and pork ribs which were both excellent. I have eaten at other Dicky's and this was my best experience. read more

Service was crap. Food is good. They don't know what the difference between add and replace means they dident give us numbers but when the food was ready they called out a number and walked away. Sad to say I will not be eating here again. And a side note the people I ate with are not coming back eather because of how bad the service is read more

horrible customer service. Always out of something, wether it's a meat or a side. All the tables are sticky, and management refuses to refund your money. If you follow cold chain it's only 20 minutes for cold items to be out at room temperature. All their meat sits out while they are preparing it for hours. read more

We lost our Dickey's BBQ back home and I come through Gallup every couple of months so I was really looking forward to a great lunch!! The Mac and Cheese was perfect, the waffles fries were hot and crispy, unfortunately the main event pulled pork sandwich was way to spicy, I should have said something when I saw the size pinch of spice she dumped on top of my pork, she tried to mix it in but it was about four times what she should have used. I choked half of the sandwich down but couldn't finish it. What a bummer, I had been looking forward all day to having a great Dickey's lunch. Sucks to be me, guess I'll stick to pizza next time. read more

I don't understand why anyone at all thinks this is good tasting barbecue! I've had better tasting barbecue from a roadside stand pop-up tent in Georgia. If this is how all Dickey's restaurants cook their food, I'll be looking elsewhere for my barbecue. read more

Called 15 minutes before closing for a take out order. They are surrounded by multiple hotels. Last minute orders are probably a common thing. He reminded multiple times that they were closing soon. He seemed very annoyed. I then told him forget about it because my order seems to be an inconvenience. He said ok and hung up. read more
