Pulled pork sandwich plate, with fried okra and onion tanglers

I'm a sucker for the fried okra and onion tangles. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich plate and my husband got the same. Ordering was different than most Dickies but we didn't mind it. Allowing inflation the serving size was smaller and not real consistent. While waiting for our food a customer ahead of us was very upset about the portion and total order. I would have liked to see them offer to remedy the order. The biggest issue was the smoke that was filling the dining room. I have asthma and had to step outside and eat fast. So that lost a star for me. Overall, I would eat there again.

I ordered the turkey plate with the creamed spinach and mac and cheese. I tried the turkey with sweet and original bbq sauces. Both were very good! Sides were yummy as well as the roll. I would definitely return.

Not as good as I thought. Good portions, but the brisket had mega fat. I guess thats why its so expensive. A little humor. The Mac n'Cheese has milk products like cream cheese, milk and cream. If you are dairy intolerant skip this side forever!!! The onion side is good. Everything was good but it could be better as in, HOT! Ours was cold. The other issue was this... we ordered it online. Online has a tracking of the steps the store is taking like .... order in que... well our order sat in the que for 20 mins amd we were picking it up in 10 mins. We went inside and said we are picking up an order. They said grubhub? No, an online order. He says its not ready because we did not see it come in... in other words they are not paying attention to incoming online orders. So we had to wait another 20 mins. Well they forgot the pickles we paid for already. Other patrons were in the store NOT wearing a mask or spreading out for space. All the employess still had masks even thou the mask update was banned in Kenosha. But, really people will still possibly get sick as the vaccines are not 100% safe. Read the papers. Anyway, We want to live and be free... do it at home, please. This BBQ joint is just ok, but better then restaurants farther north. BBQ sauce was good if you like sugar. The kids will love it. We may be back to give it a second chance. We hope it will be better at that time.

good bbq, good deal.we stopped in first time. sat special was brisket sandwich and two sides for 9 dollars. Portions were good for the money.. service was good and friendly from the guys at the counter. They serve beer also. i woukd ask for a non toasted bun next time... too oily. They have free soft serve diy ice cream cones! woukd return next time we have hockey in Kenosha

Stingy portions, chopped instead of sliced.

I was in town again on business and decided to try this place. This Dicky's location was a real disappointment. It was completely empty during prime dining hours. I soon understood why. Compared to the Dickey's back in Texas, the portions were very stingy. I ordered the three meat "Texas sized" meal. Ha! Pitiful portions and the food temperature was just above cold. I stood in line for a full five minutes waiting for the guy to look up and take my order. SERIOUSLY?!?! Look at this! Brisket is supposed to be sliced, not a chopped up mess you had left over. That's called "chopped" bbq!! The green beans tasted weird and maybe old. The bbq beans were awful and tasted like mustard instead of bbq. What the heck? The worst part? The staff didn't seem to care at all. I will never be back!

I had ordered a steak kabob thinking I would need some A1. I was wrong. It was delicious and well marinated!! If you enjoy vinegar, which I do!! The vegetables were well marinated as well. The mashed potatoes, lawd it was heaven sent dressed with brown gravy. The seasoned garlic rice was ok but edible. It was a lot of food, that I took the other half home. But then again, I did have some mozzarella sticks and their sweet buttery rolls with light whipped cinnamon butter. MMM MMMM... This is how long I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse, I didn't realize they have the peanuts in a pre-packaged bag. I'm not a dirty soda fan because of how sweet it usually is, but I went for the coconut cream with Coke and it was some good stuff for sure. Not too sweet! My hubs had the pork chops and he can tear up some food but he had half his food left over as well. He did say it was a tad on the salty side but overall good. My in- laws had the beef tips and green beans which come with bacon bits and onions.

I could not help but wonder if being HISPANIC had something to do with it. What hurt the most was having to remind them that we were there before everyone else, just to finally be acknowledged. The food was average, but the service was cold and disrespectful. Even the woman who brought us the food had a terrible attitude. Nobody should feel invisible while simply trying to enjoy a meal with their family. Texas Roadhouse should be better than this.

Really wanted to like this place and looked forward to trying it for a special occasion dinner, but…read morethe experience was so so, not good. First, we went early on a weeknight around 4pm. We were one of 5 tables in the entire place and stood in entrance for 5 minutes waiting for someone to seat us. We got seated and atmosphere is seemed great. Nicely decorated, comfortable booths, but something was off with the vibe. Not sure what but the staff we saw just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. It took forever for server to greet us and was not very warm or welcoming. Explained it was our first time here and response was nothing...except did we want to order drinks. Took forever to receive drinks then we ordered an appetizer of speciality dish wildfire shrimp just ok, tiny deep fried spicy shrimp with side of ranch. Just ok, had definite kick to it, if you like spicy. We placed our food order and again food took forever to come out. Salads were fresh. Bread was good. Filet which was supposed to be 6 ounces but seemed very thin, cooked more medium than medium well. NY strip steak was very thin too but cooked to order medium. Steaks had overpowering amount of seasoning on them. Baked potatoes were lukewarm at best and even though ordered loaded very little sour cream or butter. I would have asked for more but server never came back to check on us in timely manner. Had to use the butter that came with the bread but barely warm potato is unappetizing. It took forever to get our check too - no apology nothing. For the price $30-40 per person, there are MUCH better choices across the border in Illinois. Overall, drinks and bread are decent, I'd recommend driving another 20-30 minutes south and check out the steakhouses in Gurnee, Illinois, skip this location as service was slow and food was not great and served lukewarm. Meh.
