We were there in one of the rooms for a party more recently. The room was nice. Nicely decorated and a nice size for a small party. The food was good, not really fond of the pork sliders but the pasta salad and beef was nice. The onion and tomato dip over the baked bread was delicious. I was not aware how big this place is. I was shocked! On the night we visited there were so many cars parked. Made sense when we walked in and there was a private party taking place. Made a trip with few guys. Ordered some beers. I started off with Kenosha IPA then tried Blonde Ale. Blonde Ale seemed to be the favorite at the table. Moving onto food. We ordered cheese curds (meh). Boneless wings with half KBC and half Korean. Boneless wings are top notch. We also tried their nachos with chicken. This is a huge appetizer that I brought the rest home. The best is their smoked boneless wings with their Korean sauce. These were so good we ordered them twice! Wedding Shower First we were told only the night before when we could get in to decorate. We were told 9:30am. We arrived and no one showed up to open the door until after 10:00am and the shower began at 11:00am. The room was not set up at all. The food was awful, as it was a brunch. Went last Friday with my cousins after our original plans fell through because another place was closed due to the cold. Ended up sitting at the bar and had a great experience. Our close-to-home stop which is always a comfortable and pleasant experience for lunch or dinner. The staff is super friendly and always checking on you. Food is your normal pub food but done well. Never in my life have I had such flavorless food. The sour beer tasted flat nothing nice to say about the others that were sampled. The service wasn't any better, waitress never told us they were out of food and she picked the flavor of the wings instead of asking what we wanted. We recently hosted my sister's baby shower here. The event room is absolutely beautiful (from ceiling to floor) with amazing food package options (the food was good, and kept warm/stocked). The packages are very reasonably priced and offer many different options. The staff are incredibly kind, patient and go above and beyond (all with smiles). The owner, Mike was very accommodating and easy to work with. It was my first time at this establishment and I will definitely be back. I read many of the reviews and can sympathize with some aspects. The sign "wait to be seated" only makes sense if someone is at host stand or bartenders are paying attention. Neither of these things were true on a Saturday night at 730 pm. I sat at the bar to get best service possible but even then it was sub par. I had an empty beer in front of me for almost 10 mins. The selection of beers was also limited during my visit due to some cooling issues on the lines. I'd say that's a critical flaw in a brewery. The beers I did have were good. Solid 7s. The star for me was the smoked wings. I.wish I had gone no sauce at all. The smoke on the drummies, even with a delicious Buffalo sauce, was outstanding. The fries were subpar, cold, and meh. I'd say if you can become a regular and do the shots with staff I saw happening you are in. If not just skip this option. Unless you love smoked wings then stop for that and expect nothing else. read more

Kenosha's hometown brewer! Love the ambiance at this establishment. The service is good and the food I've had tried so far (mostly appetizers to far) has been good. But, in my opinion, the beer needs work! I don't like the bitter aftertaste that is commonly present across their line. Note that the hours here can be a problem. I BELIEVE that it is open after 4:00 pm all days of the week as of the 20th of January (when I am writing this), but I may be wrong. Our first visit here was met with some distinction. It was years ago and they weren't open because the local power was out. So it remained on the to-do list for another day. That day finally came around. Kenosha Brewing is tucked away in what kind of felt like somebody's backyard. The interior is stretched out with bar seating, high table seating, outdoor seating and private party rooms. Although busy, service was fast and friendly. Their beer menu is large with various styles to choose from. Kenosha Brewing has a good 20 crafts of their own to pick from, as well as maybe a dozen guest beers. Making a choice wasn't easy. I'm a dark beer guy for the most part but the warmth of the day made the Morning Blues blueberry waffle ale sound good. It had the smell of waffles but went down less sweet, and had a great flavor. I would have had another but my Rueben sandwich came to the table fast, and I was hungry. This sandwich, along with the other two plates that came to our table, beg to be given props. We're in a day and age where most restaurants are cutting back portion sizes while massively increasing prices. It's happened to 95% of the places we've gone to in the covid era. But not at Kenosha Brewing. My Reuben and side of fries were enormous and delicious. We had an early 4pm lunch, I didn't have another thing to eat for the remainder of the day. My son got the Italian Beef sandwich and my wife the Calzone. Both were also enormous plates of food. Add in the fact that it's great food, and you've got a true winner here. Food was good. The soup was awesome and I almost did not get it. Fish was so good breading was light not heavy. Tator tots were OK. Beer was cold, however did not realize they had tons of drinks. It was so dang loud you cannot have a conversation. Yes it is one thing of it was just a bar but they offer food, not just bar food so you would think it would not be that loud, like obnoxious loud. My husband Robert and I took a short one hour trip away from home for 11th wedding anniversary. We decided to stop at Kenosha brewing Company because it looks like an interesting place with some good food options. There is plenty of free parking. When you walk in the restaurant to the left there is a gaming area. There are two large banquet rooms (that were both being occupied). There is a nice size bar and they brew their own beer here so there is a lot to look at. Most of the tables are high table but there are a few low. I was not able to take many pictures inside because the lighting is very dark so the food looks way better in person. We started our order off with the nacho appetizer. It was huge but very tasty they use both liquid cheese as well as shredded cheese and the pork pieces were large and very yummy I loved how they added lettuce which made them taste so fresh and delicious. We split a Reuben sandwich. It was delicious and my husband normally does not like warm sandwiches but he loved this one. We ordered the Cajun potatoes as our side and highly recommend them. It also came with a pickle. If we are out this way again we will definitely stop here without hesitation and highly recommend you give it a try. read more

The service was horrible. We waited at the entrance for a few minutes, before we were acknowledged. The bartender with her foot propped up at the bar yelled"sit anywhere" and continued her conversation with the other people at the bar. We found a table and a grouchy, rude and unprofessional waitress came over, no greeting or hello she just told us we had to move, because another party of people were coming in. We moved to another table and she came back with our water and slammed them on the table and walked away, without saying anything. The ambiance was horrible! The chairs were old and rickety, the table was sticky and dirty. Kenosha Brewing needs to hire friendly greeters and waiters/ waitresses and upgrade their seating and clean their tables. read more

Coming back from Milwaukee we took the slow route. Driving the scenic way with some stops along the way to Chicago. This was one of our stops. I didn't get any Cheese Curds while in Wisconsin so I decided I needed to. We stopped here just before dark. The pandemic was happening so we opted for outside. Then it got dark and I became the meal for the mosquitos. So we then opted for inside. We enjoyed our beers as my son and I caught up. I honestly can't remember what I ordered. But it was something sour and good and my son got some hard seltzer thing that he really liked. The food came out after a little long but it was fine with us, it had been a big food day anyway. My order was the fish fry and the curds of course. It was all pretty good. No wow factor but nothing to complain about. Wait....I almost forgot. The cajun potatoes with the fish fry were the BEST thing of the whole meal. So darn tasty I just couldn't stop eating them. Perfectly spiced and flavored. I swear they had crack added, I kept eating even though I was bursting. The covid precautions when I was there (awhile back) were good, and they were doing their best. Lot's of available parking....but a note. The place was a little hard to find by the directions my device gave me. If it seems weird, just keep going. It will get you there. read more

Enjoyed a meal here during a Memorial Day weekend trip with my husband! The staff were great and the meal didn't disappoint. This was the biggest soft pretzel I'd ever seen in my life! Kenosha Brewing Co can, and will, deliver the goods so long as it's within it's wheelhouse... A couple friends and I met up here for lunch. We arrived at opening as we knew we'd be there a while. Upon arrival, however, we discovered there was a party (of some kind) also starting right at that time. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful but some things were just out of her control. We received our drinks very quickly but the food we ordered took FOREVER. In fact, it just became laughable because our waitress tried to smooth things over by saying "Sorry, the food will be out in just a bit. There's a delay because of the party." But that was only at about the half way mark and we still waited another 20 minutes for our bites to be served. When it did arrive, however, it was DELICIOUS! Maybe it's because of the anticipation and growing hunger or maybe (most likely) it's because the boneless wings are outstanding! Lightly breaded, good size, tasty sauces. YUM. The Cheese Curds were "meh"... I'd expect more out of Wisconsin. Despite the service, we enjoyed the atmosphere of this spot and overall had a good time. I think you will too. I like his place. You do have to remember the name. Kenosha Brewing. It is more of a bar than a restaurant. A bar with good foods. Of course there is a bar. I that room high top and low top tables. Then there is a whole other room with tables. It was the first time that I came here. I stopped in for dinner. I got the calzone which was the special. It was $7 rather than I think $14. I could be wrong. Anyhoo, it came with soup or salad. I am not a soup kinda gal. I had a choice of salad, French onion soup or Greek soup. I chose Greek soup. It was suppose to be orzo? lemon and something else. Mamma Mia! It was amazing. Then the calzone came. Mia culpe! It was huge and oh so good. As I write this review I am thinking that I will go back before I leave the area. Service good, food great! I see it as a nice place to come for a drink and a bite. Good job guys. read more

Good place to stop at if you're a brewery fan and going in between Chicago and Milwaukee. Got a nice set up indoors with several TVs, and some outdoor seating as well. Plenty of their own beer, plus a few guest taps as well from some other WI breweries. I had one house beer and one guest draft from Eagle River in Milwaukee, both good. They have a typical brewpub food menu. I got the curds, which were solid, as you'd expect from most places in Wisconsin. Servers were fast and friendly. Wouldn't mind stopping here again if I was up in the area again and they had some new beers on tap. read more

Sorry , I gave you only 3 stars, gf and I wanted to go to a SPORTS BAR to watch the first game of the world series, but there wasn't a Wisconsin team playing so they had music on , which you couldn't hear, then they closed the kitchen down at 9 pm even though the web site said they were opened to 11 pm, because the staff is only there until 10pm... lol so they close at 10 pm, so to my dismay.. thats right my dismay, they kicked us out of the bar at 9:50 pm.. which was the top of the 10th, inning, so I rushed to the car only to find that new cars don't have AM radio an longer.. so by the time I got home. They said it was the best game 1 ever and I missed everything.. oh well... I guess this is what sports bars are now, serve ya.. and get rid of ya... fyi.. the food was great, and our waitress was great too, she just started there, smoked wings AG. And the beef to die for.. but if you want a real sports bar you'll have to go to some ma and pop. Side of the road dive bar, you know the kind.. if they have dice rolling, that's the place you'll find me at next. Good nachos with pulled pork and very good smoked wings (1/2 KBC sauce and 1/2 Bulgogi). Marzen beer was a tad too smokey (and not malty enough) for my pallate, and their hazy IPA wasn't great. Decent food and drink, if one is in the area, but wouldn't call it farm to table, or gastropub fare. Very good service overall. read more

Awesome neighborhood mico brewery that leaves you wanting to come for more. Spent the day in Kenosha and this place was highly recommended. Friendly staff, awesome menu and even better beer! Ordered the smoked wings and bacon cheeseburger with an IPA brew, and left with no regrets. The six pack of beers are reasonably priced with a lot of flavor. Bartender was very nice and helpful. Hazy IPA and curds were solid if not spectacular. Somewhat of an odd location tucked back in a residential area behind a more commercial complex, but it was exactly the experience we were looking for. The brews are great Micro- brews, IPAs and brewed right here in Kenosha. Made more for adults not family- friendly (not a bad thing, just a thing), and date I say the food, well I'd rate it at 2.5 out of 4. Stop in for a cold one, they won't disappoint. read more
