Lunch time and was in the mood for some protein. Clean wide space and friendly staff. Food wise, the food wasn't that great. The pulled pork and beef brisket we're very dry and slightly over salted. The short ribs were well cooked but again slightly over salted. Flavors wise the meats we're very blend and salty. Can't argue with the price range, it is very affordable. You'll definitely get your money worth of food. This review is based solely on my own opinion and preference in taste of food. My say is; just don't believe what you read. Had the 3 meat plate. Brisket, kielbasa, and pork bunt ends. The ends were dry and salty, kielbasa was ok and the brisket had the texture of dry pot roast. The rub is too salty. They have a long way to go to earn the moniker Texas bbq. Let's hope they can build on this read more

Wow is this place bad. I think they are trying to be bad. The clerk takes your order at the far left side of the restaurant. The register is on the far right side of the counter. They don't write anything you order down and ask you to repeat it several times while they fill your order then struggle to identify everything on your tray when they try to ring you up. Bring in a few business students from USU to figure out how to fix this mess. When we were there the order taker was a young woman. I won't describe her but she might have a bumper sticker on her car that says "All dums are not blonde." Whew. We came in with 5 people. She could not get one order straight. She literally asked my son 5 different times what sides he wanted. A co-worker had to take over taking orders and she did what he said. The food is mediocre to bad. Ribs: dry and hard. I could only pull off a few bites per rib. They tasted like they had been cooked two days ago, refrigerated, and re-heated on high in a microwave. I had ribs at Lagoon - an amusement park that were better than this. Pulled Pork: Dry and hard. Like soggy toothpicks. My friend and I came to Dickey's last night because we hadn't ever been to one before (and, suddenly, they seem to be everywhere) and we had a buy one, get one free coupon for meat plates. I have recently fallen in love with Salt Lake City's R&R BBQ and so unfortunately my standards are very high. Dickey's brisket is a very sad imitation of actual, delicious brisket. However, not everything was bad. Service was great. My friend and I both ordered meat plates. I got pulled pork and beef brisket. As I mentioned before, the brisket was dry and lacking in flavor. The pulled pork was much the same. The barbecue sauces offered did a lot to fix them up, but still I dreamed of R&R. Two sides came with my plate, and I picked macaroni and cheese and onion tangles. Both were decent. So, Dickey's isn't wonderful. But here's why I'll go back: it's cheap! In addition to having a couple more BOGO coupons, Dickey's is going to have $1 pulled pork sandwiches on Tuesdays through September and October. Worth it. Also, there's a soft serve machine, and everyone who comes to Dickey's gets free ice cream. If nothing else, go to Dickey's for dollar sandwiches. read more

Dirtiest restaurant I've been in, in as long as I can remember. Not a chance this place would pass health inspections even if they had multiple days to get ready for it. We have tried so very hard to enjoy Dickey's. We have gone as a family a total of 3 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME our food is either room temperature or downright cold. It's very disheartening. We decided after 3 unsuccessful attempts that Dickey's Barbecue Pit is just plain gross. At least this location is. Also we have never received good service either. We are treated like an inconvenience. It's safe to say we won't be giving this restaurant any more chances. read more

The meat was old and lukewarm. I had a side of mac and cheese that was cold. I took it to the counter and let the server know it was cold. She threw it away and served me another cup of mac and cheese from the same food warmer and it wasn't any warmer than the first cup. The ice cream was almost tasteless. The employees seemed annoyed we were there, and weren't very inviting. This was my first time at this restaurant and I will not be going back. Definitely better places to spend my money. I did come at 6pm on a Monday and the place was empty. Perhaps things would be a little fresher on a weekend or if it were more busy. It's to pricey for me to find out though. read more

Their brisket suddenly became "chopped brisket" one day. We found out why when we tried it and discovered horrendous amounts of fat chopped in and disguised with the brisket. It was pretty nasty. I'm guessing they were saving money by including the fat, but it was at the complete expense of quality. To be fair, their ribs are pretty good.... when they don't run out of them. read more

They have no idea what they are doing and the food was cold by the time we set down to eat because of them taking so long to figure stuff out. It was dirty and gross in there too and not even busy at all. My son eats everything but the Turkey special was so dry he wouldn't touch it. Not worth it. read more

This is not good BBQ. Too franchised, and you can tell by how the food tastes. BBQ needs attention and love, not something that tastes pre packaged and microwaved. Instead of fresh cut and smoked for 12+ hrs. Logan desperately needs a good BBQ joint. This place doesn't give the answer to our need. read more

The food is solid. The smoked turkey (not on the menu for some reason?) is one of the only foods (especially protein) my selective toddler will eat consistently. They are also very allergen friendly, with gluten free and dairy free options, among others. However, their employees. Could. Not. Be. Slower. The last three times I have been in, I am the only one there. I have never paid for my order in less than 20 minutes. For a concept that is created to be similar to Cafe Rio/Costa Vida, they should really be able to move people through. The servers forget what I ordered over. And over. And over. Makes it take even longer. Maybe have them write it down? The fixes are easy... new staff or job aids or written orders. The one time I was waiting with one other order in front of me, it took 45 minutes to pick up A TO-GO ORDER that I had ALREADY CALLED IN 45 MINUTES BEFORE THAT. Server was even slower at the register. The owners have got to take care of this or they are not going to last. read more

Overly priced, gross food! We were also dissapointed because it was our first time here and our friends raved about the free ice cream cones after our meal, the ice cream machine was completely emptied before our meal was finished.
