I usually like Dickeys BBQ but this location has been a huge disappointment. Dried out ribs, fat filled chopped brisket, wilted lettuce in their "salad" in the 1/2 cup container . The 4 times we've called in orders to pickup, they've gotten wrong and then argued that they were right! We kept hoping that they would improve... KEPT giving them another chance because there's not a lot of choices in Moss Bluff at night especially.... But... we won't be returning to this Dickeys unless they somehow retrain their night crew to respect the customers and fill orders correctly with fresh food. read more

Ordered a Pulled Pork Sandwich with Baked Beans, Mac&Cheese and Unsweetened Ice Tea. Sandwich was COLD. Sent back to put in microwave for 30 secs. No microwave. They made me a new sandwich. Yup! It was cold too! Sent back AGAIN. Not sure what they did, but temp was about 10° warmer, but still cool enough to NOT melt the cheese. Gave up and put the BBQ Sauce on like ketchup and ate the cold sandwich. Why can't they cook the meat with BBQ sauce? That is why I HATE Texas style BBQ. Not BBQ. It's smoked with ketchup on AFTER Cooking! Blech! Beans and Mac/Cheese were good, as was the tea! Thank GOD, they don't use that damned Gold Peak piss water. My wife and I stopped to place a To Go order around 6:00 pm. We received our food and got home all I can say is it was very dry and old tasting. I had brisket and sausage and my wife had sausage. We normally love Dickeys with our only experience being in Dallas but we were very disappointed in our food. I guess my advice is don't wait until the evening to eat here or you will get basically the days left overs. The only good part of my meal was the spicy beans. read more

When my husband and I walked in, at 7:20pm, we were told they only had brisket, chicken and one other meat and they were out of potatoes. So I ordered a brisket sandwich and my husband decided not to order anything. When I got home and opened the wrapping of the sand which, the bun was greasy and had two chunks of bread missing on the top. I took the top bun off to pour barbecue sauce on top, which was included with my order, and the brisket was so burnt and dried out, it looked almost like thick beef jerky. I tried eating it, even cutting the meat up, taking it off of the bun, but it was so hard and burnt, I couldn't do it. I ordered a sweet tea with the sandwich and the total was over $12. I hate to say but this was a huge waste of money. I was looking forward to a barbecue sandwich and have had Dickeys before, and enjoyed it, but this was awful. I don't know if they just don't have enough business anymore, trying to keep costs down, but don't let your meat that you serve, burn and dry out. They should have never served this! I hate wasting money on bad food and I hope others read this so you don't waste your hard earned money on this also. The sweet tea I ordered was okay, but tasted like it had been sitting all day, not freshly brewed. Not that I expected freshly brewed, just saying I think there is very little business happening there and although it's unfortunate, it's understandable, if this is what they serve daily. Just went to this Dickey's location let me say this the food is great!!..that being said,it was kinda overpriced,I took mom and dad for lunch and spent $47.86!!...like I said the food was great but the cost was steep...go and enjoy some really good BBQ but be prepared to pay! read more

I'll start by saying we frequent this Dickies location every Wednesday, however I've seen a decline over the last year in both the food and the employees attitudes. So much so in fact I don't know that we will be going back solely on account of employees attitudes. The last two times we went they were out of multiple Coke items in the Coke machine and we are talkin mainstream items here nothing out of the ordinary. To make matters worse they were also out of various condiments and containers which you put sauces or other condiments in. This is most certainly not due to them being overburdened with patrons because this location is rarely busy. And now for the Ultimate Nail in the coffin, the employees! I've never been in a establishment where the employees make you feel like you're bothering them to place an order, they are not all like this but more often than not they place the ones with the worst attitude taking orders. I believe this to be the most dejecting part of the whole experience and frankly one we will not endure again. The food by far doesn't warrant anyting special nor repeat business, the meat is often dry and flavorless along with the sauces being heavily vinegar-based. There's an awful lot of potential here being squandered away by employees and mismanagement. Also their meats tend to be bottom of the barrel Select Grade which is often riddled with fat that you pay for by way of weight on every one of their plates. read more
