Haven't been there in a couple year's, omg the quality of food has gotten so bad. Brisket sandwich had hardly any meat and was cold and dry. My wife had loaded potatoe which was dryed out and cold. We will not be going there anymore. Heard another couple say their ribs were dry and cold. The final straw was they don't have ice cream anymore. read more

She speaks to me as if I don't know what I'm ordering, even though I'm always clear and polite. Strangely, she doesn't treat my husband this way--only me--which makes the behavior even more concerning. I've tried to ignore it, but after several repeated experiences, it's clear this isn't a one-time fluke. Awful. I rarely go to this place because there are lots of better options around. But since they have deliveries, I decided to make an order. I ordered 12 ribs for $26 which is already much higher than other places. They sent me 4 and they said they are put so they sent me $5 worth of brisket instead!!!!!!!! And the ribs were raw. Absolute raw. Pink inside and you couldn't even cut them with a fork. That's a health hazard. I had too cook them in the oven for 2 hours (the amount of time I do for a full fresh raw rack) as you can see in the picture. If you are planning to cook your half delivered raw food, order from here. read more

The roll was a hard square but the meat was good. Could of been hotter. I liked the sweet sauce. Staff was nice but blonde with ponytail was trying to hard. Would give them 0 stars if possible. ordered delivery after being 20 mins late from the time is was supposed to arrive I called the restaurant, they informed me the delivery driver left without my order. I told them to cancel my order and then my over showed up 2 mins later. Baked beans and green beans had no flavor. Chopped brisket was 90% fat and wasn't even chopped. They only had 2 employees fixing the food, checking people out, running the drive through and keeping the tables wiped down (which we had to say something to them before they would come to clean a table for us). This was my first time coming here, my husband loves this chain. My family and I decided to come here for lunch. They had a good selection of meats and side options. I love getting the big yellow cups for souvenirs but I would have to say the prices for what you get are a little much. They have complimentary self serve ice cream, it was really thick but not bad. The restaurant itself is very clean and easy to navigate! Good for a quick lunch but I wouldn't suggest if you're on a budget! Great first experience however! read more

I'm from Kansas City as well and Rosedales has the best in the KC area. But here in Rolla this is pretty darn good.

If I could describe this place in one word it would be "Underwhelming." Got a 3 meat plate with brisket, kielbasa, and ribs. The brisket was decent but had little flavor, the kielbasa tasted good but was different from any other kielbasa I've ever had, and the ribs were soft but nothing special. There was hardly any smoke to any of the meats and no dry rub used on anything. And the square roll, even basted with butter on the top was dry on the inside. The island where you get your drinks & sauces, etc. was out of everything. The lemonade tasted like water. The soft serve cones were stale. I have zero desire to return to any dickies location. Being from Kansas City, I like BBQ and don't normally eat at the chain places. There has not been a BBQ place in Rolla for years, so when I saw one opened I thought I'd go I've it a try. The service was great and the staff explained everything. I got a family meat with three meats, three sides and rolls. The brisket and ribs were awesome, chicken breast a little dry but tasty. The beans, okra and fries were also great. The BBQ sauce was thinner than KC style, but had great flavor. The potions were large and the three of us had two meals with some still left! It's new in town. Expensive for what you get. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. I didn't like eating my salad out of cup. There was trash or something in dining room. No one were wearing hairnets. The menu is confusing and the service is like fast food, you go to counter, order, get your food, fill your drink, have to doctor your food at different counter. We were excited to try a new restaurant. The staff is new and lacks knowledge about what is I. The food. When I asked for an allergy menu I was talked at by the staff behind the counter and informed "we don't do menus you have to look on line". We trued asking about options for the tacos curb instead of flour tortillas we were told again "to look online". It's been awhile since we received that type of attitude about a medical issue. With restaurants like Bandannas and Penelope's who actually welcome customers with dietary needs I don't see us returning. I did look on line. While the proteins are ok. A bit pricey for what you get. The big challenge for us is that there is dairy in their sausage. If you have an allergy it's almost impossible to sort out what their allergens are. They don't have a clear allergen menu like many other places which can lead to problems. read more
