Dropped by yesterday during their Grand Opening day. Got there around 11ish and there was a long wait, though that was to be expected. Anyhow, finally got to the front and was able to order. I got the two meat plate which comes with 2 sides, roll, pickles & onions. For the two meats I chose the Beef Brisket and Polish sausage. The sides I got to accompany my meal were Fried Okra and Green Beans w/Bacon. The brisket was moist and the sausage just as good. Fried Okra is what you typically get when ordering that one. The green beans were a bit disappointing in terms of flavor. Otherwise the roll was so soft I wanted another. Overall food was better than what I was expecting. It's nice to have a BBQ place in the area now so I don't have to travel so far when the urge hits. Price is fair with delicious food with an accommodating atmosphere to match. I will definitely go again once the hype of this one opening dies down a bit to try some of the other items on the menu. read more

My one star rating doesn't involve their food. I tried to try it but was thwarted by the online ordering from Seamless (Not!)/GrubHub. I ordered online - $60 worth of BBQ to go. Bank account was charged. Text confirmed the order and that it would be ready 30-40 minutes. I don't trust online ordering so I always call to make sure the business got the order. THIS STORE HAS NO PHONE NUMBER THAT WORKS!!!! Oh, there are phone numbers posted online but when you call any of them you get that old fax machine tone and nobody answers. One of the numbers has a recorded intro saying the call is being recorded so they can "insure awesomeness"! Well, that's a big FAIL! Anyway, my roommate went to pickup the order while I was on my way home from work and, sure enough, no order was ever received. Took them about 10 minutes to figure that out. He asked them about the phone issue and was told they do not, in fact, have a phone number you can call to place an order - or presumably talk to a human being at their store. Final verdict: This place seems to be the booby prize behind door number 3. I should have picked another BBQ place to order dinner for us (and will next time). I will say that Seamless/GrubHub refunded my money immediately with no hassle. read more

Wow!!! Just got door dash delivery from here. Absolutely AMAZING!!! We ordered fried okra as a side to a DELICIOUS meal and it was actually hot and crispy when it arrived. Thought we give this location another try after our last bad experience and tonights visit was no better. We got there at 645 pm, no mac and cheese, toaster was off because they were closing at 8 pm so we had to have cold bread. Signs clearly said open til 9pm and people were still coming in. Then they turned the open signs off at 715. We will NEVER come back to this location for food again. read more

Do not ever go to Dickey's BBQ. Absolutely the most overpriced, smallest portions. Two meat meal gets you so little pulled pork you can't even fill a sandwich and TWO ribs! TWO! How much? $11.50! You can't even order extra ribs! Oh yeah, the kids meal is a joke. You get one rib, that's it! ONE RIB! No other meat for $5.50! No wonder at 6 PM the place is empty. My husband and I , like many others miss going out to have a meal with the covid pandemic . We placed an order with a young man, he repeated it twice, oops. Husband is home with the food to discover that he only got one meat, the other was left out, he didn't get his french fries as one of his sides. I called to speak with a manager or talk with a district mg. The young girl would not listen to me, and told me if I was quiet that she could try to figure out how we are to get our food. Lol This is twice now that an order cannot be filled properly. Two weeks ago we had ordered the beef brisket, we open our containers and it was pork. I do not eat pork. Definitely, training issues at this northglenn location. Why have a menu to order from if you are not going to receive the food that u ordered. PS. It was cold as well. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered the family pack, which you would think would feed at least a family of 4, no such luck. Get two meats and three sides with this order. We received seven ribs and a small container of pulled pork. The sides of potatoes and Mac & cheese were in small containers that fit about 2-3 small scopes each and a small bag of waffle fries. Sub-par food (dry, cold meat in a warm restaurant) priced high for what you get. Staff shorted us food and didn't include sauce or toppings listed on menu. For $35 I had hoped for at least the bare minimum. Night manager was incompetent and made excuses for their (admitted) errors, and offered a sad little coupon for their false advertising, poor quality, and lousy service. As someone who grew up in the south I was a bit skeptical when I first came in for dinner. I was shocked on how much it didn't suck; i was expecting the worst. It was pretty darn good. My kids and I love this place. However, my husband does not. I think the staff is very friendly and keeps the place clean. We love the pulled pork and brisket. Make sure you try the mashed potato casserole and bacon green beans because they are very delicious sides. You also get all you can eat free ice cream cones. I was really shocked at how terrible this place was. Meats were excellent, but the sides were awful. The beans just lacked flavor, and the jalapeño beans didn't help that any. My daughter hated the mac and cheese, and I thought it was pretty terrible also. Maybe I was just unlucky on my one visit, but there are definitely better bbq joints out there. read more

This is one of the more comfortable Dickey's I've been to. It's nice to go to a Dickey's that doesn't have Fox News on or Country music playing. Had a 3 meat platter, the brisket was over cooked and dry and the ribs were even worse, they had no moisture left at all. The smoked turkey was good. the store was not that clean and neat, very disappointed. the meat seemed if a was 2 days old and been sitting in the warming tray way too long. this would be my choice if I have to eat in the area again. read more

My first and only visit to this location was a serious disappointment. The male who cut my meat 'sliced' the brisket 3/4" thick. I've never had brisket cut that thick to be able to put it on a sandwich, so that was a shock. The 2nd young male was a teenager and I had to ask him to repeat himself 4 times since o couldn't hear him and stated that. I watched him and had to ask for BBQ sauce because I didn't know that there was a self serve area to get my own, but would t have been able to anyway without him giving me a container, which he hadn't offered before I pointed out that I couldn't take home sauce easily in my hands. Neither of the employees showed any regard for me, just the hope I would pay and leave them alone. There was no option to contact this location's owner on the receipt, nor a survey or anything asking for a review. Sad read more

I only give them one star because I ordered delivery. I received everything I ordered but they sent no barbecue sauce to put on my dry brisket lol. I called them and they hung up on me and said I could go in to pick some barbecue sauce up. Well I wouldnt have ordered delivery and paid almost $40 for food if I was able to go in and pick it up duh? This is my second bad experience with them. The first time I was given cold food. We stopped at Dickey's BBQ Pit located at 9740 Grant Street, in Thornton Colorado. Ordering was a nightmare, and when it came time to pay for our order, we gave the cashier a Dickey's gift card. There was $53.37 remaining on the card. The cashier apparently ran it twice because our total bill was $59.62 and when you deduct the balance on the card at $53.37 the remaining bill should have been $6.25. We had to pay an additional $38.39 in cash. A clear cut case of fraud and scamming the public. We will never go to Dickey's Pit BBQ again - anywhere! So there it is...............a really pissed off former customer. My rating for this franchise is a negative 10! read more

I've eaten at this Dickey's several times and for good reason. The staff is great, service is great and the food is killer! I order the pulled pork sandwich(memphis style) just about every time and it's perfect every time. Their mac n cheese is incredible. I've gone in at lunch and dinner and there's no difference in the quality of the food, service, or cleanliness. I highly recommend this Dickey's if BBQ is your thing. read more

ok so I just got a craving for some BBQ and have been to Dickey's before and its usually pretty good, I mean its better then famous dave's anyway, so I read some recent reviews which were all bad ones and was like hmmmmm wonder why. I just got home with my food and this why I am giving a 1 star instead of 4 or 5. I get the 2 meat plate with 2 sides and really wanted an i e cream cone while I waited for my order but nope they didn't have any cones out so strike one, then I noticed they raised there prices and lowered there quality which in my opinion is bad for food places due to i will not be back ever, the reason i say this is i got mac and cheese and i know its just a fast food place but come on.....if i wanted stouffers mac I would just goto king soopers and get a frozen one for like $3 but know i was hoping for a homemade fresh oohhyyy gooohhyy cheesy mac , gross i say!!!! and no pickles or onions this time which i really like so , there just cutting back it seems and for that i am not impressed so goodbye to dickeys and hello i dont know yet lol hope this helps those that might want to visit this bbq place,,,,, read more

I decided to try this place because of the prices not too expensive compared to other barbecue places I have recently been to. Not impressed at all I ordered the two meat plate chicken breast and pulled pork, my two side potato salad and BBQ beans. The chicken looked processed the pulled pork tasted ok. As for the sides the beans mixed with the pork tasted great but the potato salad was not good at all took one bite threw away the rest. I first ate at this Dickey's BBQ over a year ago and found the food and service to be mediocre at best. Today, I decided to give them another chance and pick up some carry out to take back to my office (I work less than a minute away.) I went in a little after 1:00 and the lunch rush (if they have one ) was obviously over as there were only two other people in the restaurant. I ordered a rib plate for $12.95, which is supposed to come with 2 sides, plus pickles, onions and a roll. I picked the potato salad and cole slaw for my sides. When I got back to my office and opened the bag, this is what I got. Two huge sides: The potato salad and the cole slaw were both bland, but edible and there was a lot of them. 4 tiny ribs, covered in sauce. 3 of them were okay, I guess. The meat was tender and the seasonings were mild. The 4th rib was basically a bone with a very thin bit of overcooked jerky that had been drenched in sauce. The quantity was about half of what you would expect for the price and the temperature was somewhere between luke warm and lightly refrigerated. They also gave me an extra cup of sauce. There were no onions, pickles or dinner roll anywhere in sight. I might have been more forgiving if the place had been extremely busy, but there only 3 customers in the building and at least 3 employees working. This place really needs to get their act together and they don't seem to be in a hurry to do so. I won't be going back in the foreseeable future. read more
