Only open a few hours a day, but I finally made it in! Looks just like a hometown diner. Very busy for 30 minutes before closing. Service was quick and attentive. Plenty of choices on the menu. The fried bologna sandwich left much to be desired. It was good, I wish it had been thick sliced bologna, for sure. Fries were great! Food is good for a small town diner. They were out of biscuits and gravy, which made me sad.

Small country town w/ country cooking, excellent service & home style cooking. Daily specials & today everyone ordered it: Tenderloin, mashed potatoes & green beans. It looked & smelled like mama's homecooking. Ordered the Country Ham & Eggs, Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ 3 sides; cottage cheese, sliced tomatoes & macaroni salad. Absolutely delicious Mac salad! Everything was! Especially the service. Never a half full coffee cup. From Vegas, I was referred by friends so we took the drive & I highly recommend this breakfast/lunch spot that stays open until 2pm

Love country cooking then this is your spot on the square. Breakfast BLT and a side of butterscotch pie. Biscuits and gravy is filling and had generous pieces of sausage in it. Hot fresh coffee with quick refills and relatively quick services on a busy Friday morning where everyone seemed to know everyone but us. Love to find these gems and eat eat eat some good cooking.

It was not far off the highway. We were greeted by a very cheerful young lady at the cash register. We told her we had never been here before, so she said that meant we would get a free sugar cookie. Nice! They did have breakfast sandwiches. I had an everything bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. My wife had a scone with egg and cheese. We added coffee. There was no place to sit inside, so we sat on the porch. It was very comfortable. Our friendly young lady brought us our sandwiches plus the coffee pot to fill our cups. We had some of the best fried green tomatoes we've had, and a good meal, so decided to give Hidden Waters a go. We arrived very early for dinner, and there was only one other couple in the dining room. Troy was working the floor, and he was very welcoming and helpful in answering our questions. We had the fried green tomatoes, and again, they were excellent. My wife ordered the Country Fare (pinto beans, fried potatoes, cole slaw and cornbread). Price, $7 ! I had the catfish dinner. The catfish was lightly dusted in cornmeal and very tasty. We both really liked the slaw. The potato salad was just meh. I tasted her pinto beans and they were excellent. We each had a beer ($3 !). We asked Troy why the prices were so reasonable, and he said they were still trying to win back customers post Covid. All in all, our service was very welcoming and professional, and the setting in the woods very inviting. If you're in the area and looking for a good homestyle meal at a great price, I recommend Hidden Waters.

It's mostly burgers then random catfish and spaghetti. We ordered the fried steak, mashed potatoes, onion rings, and a hot fudge cake. We were going to order chili cheese fries but they were out of Chili. The hot fudge cake was ok. It wasn't exactly hot and the canned whipped cream tasted like it was poorly stored or past its date. The fried steak was "run of the mill." The mashed potatoes weren't actually mashed. It was like they scooped the inside of a baked potato and put it on the plate. The white gravy was good and made the dish edible. The dinner roll and onion rings were typical bland bagged sides. One of the employees brought their small child to work with them and while we were paying out she was running around in the kitchen barefoot because her hand was bleeding and she wanted a bandaid. We definitely won't be back and do not recommend this restaurant.

Even the mashed potatoes were really good. The steak was tender and well seasoned. Delish. I will give you a tip, have dessert! The pie was home made and absolutely amazing! Miles Diner is a cozy, family-friendly American eatery in North Middletown, Kentucky, celebrated for its classic comfort food, country cooking, and warm, small-town atmosphere. I decided to go with a Cheeseburger, which came with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, mustard, ketchup, and Miracle Whip, and fries. The fries were out of a bag, but were fried perfectly to a golden brown. Crunchy on the outside and pillowly and delicate on the inside. They needed some salt, but overall they were good. The hamburger bun, out of a bag, was fresh with good taste and chew. The veggies were fresh, crunchy, and plentiful on the burger. You got a little of each in each bite, with the ketchup and mustard in the right portions, and the Miracle Whip gave it just a little tang on the back end. The burgers were 1/3-lb patties, cooked to medium-well and had good beef flavor, but could have used a touch more seasoning on the flat top. It had a really nice crust while still being juicy and tender in each bite. I was encouraged to try the Chili dog as well. The bun was out of a bag but fresh, with a nice chew. The hot dog was grilled and had a good char. I believe it was all an all beef hot dog and was a good size. The chili was plentiful and made with ground beef and onions; it had a good beef flavor with a slight sweetness on the back end. Next time, I would add onions, mustard, and cheese, but I enjoyed the hot dog. Miles Diner has a small menu of comfort and grill classics. They serve soft drinks and sweet tea pretty well, too. They have daily specials and are open for breakfast as well. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like a regular. The place is small and located in what was once a pool hall.
