Ugh, do I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes these days. I had a $100 gift card to Dick's, so I ordered online and regretted it as soon as the shoes arrived and didn't fit. I took them to the store and had a mediocre experience with the in-store shoe shopping. In that, it didn't happen. There were no employees to be found that worked in the shoe section then I noticed a kiosk where you have to input what you want then they will bring them to you. Ain't nobody got time for that, according to Sweet Georgia Brown. I will say that the cashier who took my return was extremely helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. This location is relatively small to other Dick's locations. It didnt have a big bike selection or assessories. Went in to this particular location and was greeted by basically every employee in path to getting what I needed. The employeea all asked if I needes assistance finding or locating something. One employee literally walkes me to the location, showed me what they had and once I explained the item needed he proceeded to look online and offer to order and ship it. However, while looking in the area we were still in I noticed the item that he was speaking about on their shelf marked down as it was "out of box/customer return" dates 10/3. This employee , assuming a manager, stated he would diacount that price more and radioed to the front check out the same for me. The checking out was just a pleasurable as walking in. read more

My experience seems to vastly different from other reviewers. I thought this store was amazing. Parking is super easy on a large private lot. The store is easy to find and when I entered I was greeted warmly. The salesman immediately asked if I needed helped and proceeded to retrieve my online order. Once I received my order I decided on a different bike because the one I ordered was too small for my son. The manager (Dennis) jumped right into action to start my return, showing me different bike options and inspecting the new bike I chose. The bike was on sale and I thought the overall value was good, the selection was vast too. The store was clean and each employee that I encountered was pleasant and helpful. Wifey needed a new pair of shoes so stopped in tonight to treat her after date night. The kiosk at the shoe department was perfect and seemed like such new technology! The section was efficient and she found the perfect new shoe to wear. Workers were super nice and greeted us around every corner. Didn't have to wait at all to go in the dressing room! Took a stroll through the men's section and found everything I needed plus some things I didn't need but still ended up taking home. Who can say no to a good deal? Only issue I ran into was that the store was huge and my legs were tired from walking around so I had to stop about halfway back so I could make it back to the register and car. I'm sure the rest held a lot of good finds too but that's for a later date. read more

I love a good Dick's Sporting Goods. They usually have just about everything that I'm looking for. The option to shop the store on your app makes it even more convenient. The staff has always been really nice. People always say hi and ask if I need help. Maybe I just have a confused or lost look on my face? Their selection is always pretty wide there. Golf, fishing, running, athleisure....got the goods for around the clock. Always nice to go check out what's on sale too. Their sale racks are great. I stumbled upon their line called Alpine something. Pretty nice stuff for cheaper. Anyways I'll be back again. Probably tonight. read more

The staff in the store are nice however not empowered to resolve customer issues. So then referred to the corporate customer service phone # that says that it is up to the individual store to resolve. Not sure what the truth is or if it is lack of training. Condescending treatment from corporate. It seems purposeful they give you the runaround so they don't have to resolve the issue. read more

People who know me recognize that I'm a big fan of Dick's. They sponsor a race I run in Pittsburgh every year and their stores almost always have what I need. This store is clean and fairly well-organized. I like it because they had a big selection of Under Armour and sometimes that's hard to find. There is also a restroom near the shoe department and that came in handy when I stopped here after a three hour drive with a large coffee. The drawbacks on this location have to do with customer service, or lack thereof. I saw a lot of employees walking around talking to each other but not interacting with customers. I looked at shoes, socks, Under Armour stuff and Adidas gear and not a single associate approached me. The lady at the checkout said two words to me and was on the phone while she was ringing me up. I was not impressed. I was able to get most of what I wanted while here but might have bought more if someone had offered assistance. They didn't seem to have any Adidas running gear but if they had, I would have picked up some shorts. I don't mind shoddy service if you're at a discount place but when you're paying full retail for stuff, a little service would be nice. read more

I shop here a lot (I am a fishing fanatic). They have a great selection, prices that keep me coming back, and a HUGE parking lot, so getting a spot is always easy. The staff could use some work (greeting, approaching, etc...), but generally I know what I need, so their lack of attention isn't that big of a deal. I wanted to try a fairway wood in the golf section but was told it's closed at 730pm on a Tuesday night while the store is open until 9pm.. okay, came back the next day and was only given 3 balls to try and the guy acted like I was going to steal the club the whole time and wouldn't take the lock off so it adds extra Weight and doesn't give me a true feel. I will buy clubs else where for sure. read more

Decent facility. Store was ok cleaned, employees were really no where to be found. I had to track someone down to help me, that was 10 mins then they had to track down the person in that department which took another 8-10 minutes. Wasn't busy at all. Employees were gaggled around and was talking about the super bowl. Found why I went there to look for, on-line was cheaper and amazon had cheaper too. Then did not honor any of that then asked about military discount and they were like nope we do t do military, police, fire, ems, first responders discount "we stay away from that politics" so my advise.... shop on line or amazon. I will never shop at dicks ever again as long as I am breathing. read more

I was in the golf department and I know I don't look like I'm 40 but I'm i was willing to drop some money on a 60degree and a 3 wood or driving iron. But I was completed ignored and passed over on help for older looking people multiple times. I walked in to the "driving" range to test a club where I was given 3 balls to hit and all of them went through a pointless net that didn't stop them. Poor selection of grips and putters. Pretty bummed golf galaxy went out of business in Towson. read more

Okay store. A big plus is that it has as a great selection of merchandise from brand names (though quite pricey at times). However, customer service is this stores weakest point. I recently bought a pair of football cleats here, and the staff member brought out a more expensive version of what i had wanted. They also didn't accept my coupon since cleats didn't count as "athletic footwear." Well, when I noticed I was overcharged, they did nothing to compensate for the time I had wasted waiting for them to resolve my issue (which they didn't). Don't come here expecting great service, but do expect great selection. read more

I applied for the job of part time. I received a call I had missed it and no one left a voicemail. I called back was told to ask for Amber and to call back the next day before 3pm. I called back and they transferred me to a gentleman who seemed like I was bothering him. he then asked me my availability and I told him 6pm-11pm because I work full time during the week 8-5. he says "is that really your availability?" like I was lying about it and I then had to explain to him about my other job which was really none of his business if the job posting was for part time only. if this is how potential hires are being treated I would check the management staff. read more

Dropped off my bike for an inner tube replacement and a basic tune up on August 26, 2016. The person who normally takes care of my bikes was on vacation, so I had no idea what to expect. I called a week later to make sure that someone at least processed my bike. The woman who answered the phone didn't have any answers, so she just hung up on me. I called back the next day and a man picked up. He didn't have an estimate. I wait for two and a half weeks and they say it's ready. I came in to collect my bike and paid the $60 for a basic tune up (which there was no tune up) and a new inner tube (which I find it very hard to believe that was done either) and a new right shifter (which i don't think was changed). I hate making these types of reviews, but I truly want you guys to know that I had a terrible experience. The level of care on my bicycle was very poor.
