Although athleisure wear is in style, I don't regularly wear leggings. I used to when I belonged to a gym, but since covid I work out at home and normally just wear shorts and a sports bra. I only saw a few tops I liked and settled on a a thin white cropped top, which was $118. Insane! Spending $120 at other stores would go a lot further and I could have bought multiple items. Staff were super friendly. I was asked how I was doing and if I needed a fitting room. I asked an employee for her opinion and mentioned that the sleeves were too long to which she informed me that they hem for free. Fast friendly service. Lululemon is so expensive. I did have questions about a fitness map and the representative help me with ease. This location is smaller than the Baltimore location from what I saw. Easy to get to from the parking lot near seasons 52 if you're just running in and out. read more

I bought a sports bra, shirt and pants at Lululemon Columbia. This was my first time to buy something from this store and I was excited to wear the new clothes. Unfortunately the sports bra did not hold me in place or give me the support I needed and my yoga class was embarrassing. The pants were 3 inches too long and they offered to hem them and send them to my home. FedEx was delayed and it took a day longer than promised. When the pants arrived the hemming had not been done, the pants were completely untouched. We will never go back and are extremely disappointed in our experience and in the customer service. read more

I hate to write a negative review because lululemon associates have always been kind and friendly to me. However yesterday around 6pm I was spoken to "manager" her name is treasure. She was extremely rude and sarcastic during the interaction. She was extremely sassy and behaved as though she wouldn't be held accountable just because she's the "manager" I told her that I just had surgery on my neck for thyroid and she gave the most smart ass replied back. I never felt like this in any lululemon store and I shop there very often. Corporate need to do something about this behavior. It was not ok. Update: I found a better service at the Montgomery mall and the manager there told me that "treasure is not a manager-Sarah is." Please do something about this lululemon. Her behavior was super rude. I regret helping her meeting her sale goals. Should've spent my money at other locations where I'm going to be treated kindly. Lesson learned. read more

I ran into Lululemon after picking out some frames at Warby Parker. I had been looking at the belt bag for a while and figured that it would be most convenient to purchase the bag in-store after I went to Warby Parker. I was helped immediately by a store associate and she pointed me in the right direction of the belt bag display. I quickly found the color that I was looking for and went to stand in line. There was a sales associate who walked up to the register and then allowed the customer that he had been helping to go ahead of me in line. I used to work retail and I understand wanting to received credit or commission for those you help, but this really rubbed me the wrong way, as it made it seem as though my patronage was less important than that of the customer who was allowed to go ahead of me. My husband and I went to the register when it was our turn, and they asked me for my phone number, with the assumption that I was a part of whatever membership that they offer. This was my very first purchase at Lululemon, ever. I would have preferred that they ask me if I am a member of whatever the club is that they have, and then asked for my phone number after determining this. My husband is veteran and he found that their website shows that veterans receive a 20% discount. There was some pushback, which I found a bit humiliating. We absolutely have the money to cover a $30 belt bag, but it was the principle of the discount. The store manager became involved but the entire exchange felt like we were being chastised for asking about the discount, and in the end it felt as though she thought she had done us a huge favor. I will never return to this location. I will more than likely never shop in-person at any Lululemon store, as this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

Stopped by with my wife since she was looking to to pick up a new pair of leggings. The person in the back organizing the pants was extremely pushy, rushed, and condescending. We are customers, don't tell us to "ask you" to check out products which are out on the floor for purchase. Also, don't roll your eyes when we don't like a product and decide it's not the one we want. What kind of customer service is that? I understand people may have rough days, but that type of attitude is extremely unacceptable and infuriating. The lululemon in Bethesda, Montgomery Mall, Tysons, and Alexandria are much friendlier and provide better service. I would steer clear of this location. Some training in customer interaction and politeness is necessary, especially for that one employee in the back (who's name I will no disclose out of privacy and respect). read more

We all know Lululemon has quality workout gear. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the Columbia location. The staff is friendly as usual, but they need to work on their follow-through. They failed to notify me when my clothes were finished after being sent away to be hemmed. When I called (1.5 wks later) to check its status, they told me they couldn't check because a yoga class was in session and would call me back in an hour. A few hours later, still no response back so I called back again. My clothes were ready, but from my previous experience at other locations (i.e. Harbor East) the staff is very quick at notifying customers. Additionally, the Columbia location doesn't always have the most current styles compared to the other locations. read more

I usually only buy their stuff online, but I stopped in the store just to check out prices and look around. The sales person was very helpful! I wish I could remember her name!! I have super long legs and I needed some pants that would be long enough to actually drag on the ground and be comfy at the same time. I was very surprised that Lulu offers long length!! And to my surprise they give a military discount! I got some cute yoga pants and some leggings as well. And I even got thanked! Great customer service, and I love the reusable bags I got! read more

Looooove the leggings! I fall in love all the time when I leave a happy girl! Lol. Although not a consistent shopper I'm familiar with the fit and quality of materials; minus the new stuff. However ALL the associates are overly nosey. Yes nosey! If a customer gives off a "let me browse" vibe most likely they are browsing or are already hip to the knick and knacks! I literally was given a tutorial 4 times within 10m by 4 different ppl. I get your trying to make a sale but being extra giving and friendly can come across annoying.... The customer service at the Lululemon Columbia Mall is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff make for a really good shopping experience. The usual staff at this store are pretty nice. However, today I noticed a new manager/supervisor who was very untruthful and he thought he was slick. His dishonesty about how much I had paid online for an item was not appreciated and definitely does not foster good customer loyalty. I'm 5'7" and the leggings are too short on me. They also run small. Quality customer service here is a hit or miss. It's either outstanding or horrible or just nonexistent. The products look and feel great, and I love the styles and designs but the customer service should be consistent in its quality. read more
