I used to pay around $24, and I've always come here without thinking twice--my husband introduced me to this place, so it was my go-to spot. Well... this was my last time here. To be clear--everyone is kind and super helpful. They always greet you with a smile, and if you have to wait, there are huge, comfy loveseats to relax in. Honestly, their service is fast. Last time, I walked in, got help immediately, and was done in less than 10 minutes. The tech even showed me exactly what punctured the tube before wrapping up. Less than 15 minutes, and I was out the door. So when he told me $34, I tried to justify it--maybe the tube itself costs more now? But when I got in my car and actually checked my receipt, the tube was only $1 more than my old one. What really cost more? $20 for installation. Wow. That's just too much, I'm sorry. I drove 20 minutes to get here, so with this pricing, I've decided to opt out from coming back. Good luck to you guys!

The last time, I purchased at the Richardson location and had planned to return there until I realized this location was a lot closer, so off I went. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately, explained what I needed and in no time I was trying on several different styles. I ultimately decided on a pair and since I need new clips, I got those too. The staff was super helpful and even installed the clips for me. All said, I was in/out of the store within ~15 minutes with my purchase in hand. The staff here was super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. In addition to selling all things cycling, this location also has a repair center so if your bicycle is need some attention, this is your place. Lastly, this location has its own parking lot so parking is not an issue.

We initially brought our bike in for a standard tune-up, which took 3-4 days. When we finally picked it up, we got a flat in the front tire the very same day, so we had to bring the wheel back the next day for another repair. That repair then took an additional two days. When discussing the replacement tire, we were quoted for a full black tire. While the quote didn't include the cost of the glue, which wasn't communicated until after the quote was sent, I accepted that without issue. However, when we picked up the wheel, the tire was not full black. It had white sidewalls. Once we got home, I looked up the tire and discovered it comes in two different color options. If I was quoted and charged for a full black tire, then that is exactly what I expected to receive. Not white sidewalls. Not para. Black. Now we have to take the bike back yet again because the incorrect tire was installed. This has resulted in multiple unnecessary trips, delays in training, wasted time, and added frustration. What should have been a straightforward tune-up has turned into over a week of back-and-forth because of repeated mistakes. Based on my previous experience trying to communicate with this shop, I don't expect this review to receive a response. I simply hope future customers receive better service and greater attention to detail than we did.

Super cool stories and years of experience when it comes to bikes. He used to be a pro and has awesome tips. As stated before my comments, instead of paying $49 dlls for a "bike fitting" he didn't charge me at all. He is awesome and I'll never change bike shops as long as I live in Dallas. Patti was patient with all my questions and let me blabber on and on, lol. They have tons of bike toys and fabulous bikes. It's a dangerous place! Prices are competitive but the service and knowledge is actually way above Richardson Bike Mart. This place is 50 miles from me and RBM is only 12, but I will be bringing my trikes here from now on. It's just much more specialized and personable.
