Woah!! This one is ridiculously massive!! Two floors of just sport stuff. It even has a batting cage upstairs. Although it was a tad empty, the staff kept coming out of the displays like ninjas just to say hi and offer me their help. Store is kept cleaned and organized. It has a free play area outside the mall entrance. With campfire games and even air hockey tables for the kids. I wish mine was this big! read more

Great store, bad staff. Specifically, Mike Lane in the golf department. He was sitting on his phone behind the counter and uninterested to help me out. I had 6 clubs that I needed to get regripped. The store was dead at 4pm on a Tuesday... and I showed up at least 5 hours before they closed. Mike tells me he can't do it, even though the last employee was able to get 4 clubs done in less than 10 minutes when I was there last time. He made up multiple excuses and told me I'd have to wait 24 hours to pick them up. He said "I don't know what will come through the door" even though there wasn't anyone in the store. I told him I was fine with waiting around the store and even able to come back. He had nothing to do... he just didn't want to help me and do his job. If you are interested in the clubs, there is a great selection, but you can find better prices online. read more

I love shopping at DSG for the variety and large selection of sporting goods they have to offer. I've been shopping online a lot more since I've noticed a lot of good deals lately that I've taken advantage of. So overall for what they offer, This place is great to meet most of your sports needs. However this location missed the mark greatly when it came to customer service and good employees. I walked the shoe department for at least 10/15 mins before I was acknowledged by the one of the three employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Then I had to search for an employee to ask a question in regard to the youth clothing section. After this experience I would much rather prefer to continue shopping at the Dick's located at citrus park mall. read more

This is more a store for my hubs but they have a wide variety of sports gear and apparel. Also have local team gear. They do have good coupons throughout the year and good sales. Like how the store is setup and how they have separate sections which makes shopping easy. They also have a huge golf area for any golf enthusiasts. Convenient location in the mall. Restrooms are always so disgusting and very small. I try to avoid at all costs. read more

Who doesn't like Dicks? I think it's a great place with lots of great sporting goods. One day in November I woke up and decided I wanted to rollerblade. Not sure where the calling came from but I wanted to get back out and enjoy the weather before summer comes back again. I went online and searched for rollerblades and did some research. In a online shopping world it's always nice to still be able To go and try something on or see the quality of something prior to buying. I found a pair online priced half of what it was at dicks. So they price matched it! With the savings I got. I thought it would be a good idea to get some protective gear. Which has become the ultimate investment I made. It's literally saved me from falling to my death. They also have a great pick up service. You place your order and when it's ready you come in, the product will be waiting for you and then you pay. In and out just the way it should be. Hehe read more

This is the worst Dick's I've been to. It is always dirty and unorganized. The staff is not helpful and do not seem to care about anything or anyone. The golf section looks like it has been looted. The kayaks are not organized and do not expect anyone to help you purchase one. read more

By far the most ridiculous Dicks that I have ever been in. I walked by 8-9 employees who were to involved and enjoying themselves in the mirror to offer to help me. Obviously where former athletes come once they have lost their edge, how about hiring some "customer service" oriented employees. Dick's Sporting Goods is a huge sporting goods store at Westshore Plaza. Despite the massive square footage of this store the selection of fitness gear and sporting equipment can be hit or miss if you are looking for a specific item. Lack of organization and availability are also issues in this store. My sister and I specifically came here for yoga pants and hiking attire for our upcoming trip to Ireland. It took us forever to find the Lucy brand yoga pants displayed on the mannequin because the pants were distributed on three different racks in three separate areas. When we finally found the specific pants we were looking for we couldn't find my sister's size. Chances are if your size is not displayed then the store is sold out. When we asked an employee if there were any Lucy slim fit yoga pants in the her size stored in inventory the employee offered to take the pants off the mannequin for us. Florida doesn't receive much jacket weather, but the selection of jackets displayed upstairs was really disappointing. The Columbia, Patagonian, and North Face Jackets on the racks were all similar in style. I was hoping to find a more fitted style, but the jackets I saw online were not available at this store location. I managed to not walk out completely empty-handed on this visit. I found some hiking socks that I had just purchased in another sporting goods store for several dollars cheaper. If you can find what you are looking for it's good to know that the everyday prices at DIck's Sporting Goods are not ridiculously marked up. read more

First and foremost, I have to commend Dick's on supporting the local community by carrying a LOT of University of South Florida clothing. Most of the other sporting goods stores in the area seem to forget that the tenth largest university in the country just happens to be a few miles away. Hell, at Sports Authority they tend to have a ten to one ratio of FSU and UF to USF, if they have anything at all. That being said, I needed some golf clothing for an upcoming trip to the Masters. I went to my neighborhood Golf Locker store on Dale Mabry first. It's a huge store devoted solely to golf. The selection was wonderful, but the sticker shock of the prices for golf clothing had me leave with just a hat. I went to Dicks, and while the clothing was still expensive, it was probably 30% less than the dedicated golf store, while still having a pretty extensive selection. I ventured out of the golf department and found they have a large selection of gear for most sports, even surprising ones like kayaking and paddle boarding, which you would not expect to find in a store at a mall. The layout is two levels with a lot of square footage. Two minor complaints. 1) The staff often forget to take the alarm tags off items, so be prepared to have everyone stop and stare at you when you try to walk out and the buzzer identifies you as a shop lifter. 2) They REALLY want to collect and sell information about you, so if you're checking out using a non-cash method of payment, it can be an uphill battle getting past the barrage of questions about name, address, email address, do you want to sign up for our credit card, are you a member of our points program, can I sign you up for it, can we send you email newsletter, blah blah blah. You almost have to get nasty to just get them to let you swipe your card and leave without providing any of that. Dick's is attached to Westshore Mall, which was a premier property years ago, but is definitely International Plaza's younger step brother these days. They have lost most of the fancy stores so Dicks is typically the only store I visit. read more

1 star due to terrible customer service. At least half a dozen employees (as well as someone who appeared to be a manager) were congregated at the entrance. Too busy talking amongst themselves to greet me or any other customer. As I wandered around aimlessly, at least two other employees walked by me without asking if I needed help - at this point I was expecting as much, but if Target's employees can provide this level of service, then you would think a store like Dick's could follow suit, especially considering the high ticket items and the fact the store was practically empty. When I went to leave (without finding the item I was looking for), I went back up to the front and interrupted the personal conversation of employees to ask them if they had my item. An employee said IF they had the item it would be over there and pointed me in a general direction. I left. This would have been the perfect opportunity for them to show me exactly where the item would be, look it up, or even offer to order it for me. Oh well. They lost the sale and lost me as a customer. read more

This location of Dick's Sporting Goods is one of the better ones when it comes to athletic stores. The storefront is so large in size that it has two stories. The few times that I have been to this location, it has been clean, organized and there have been plenty of staff members maintaining the store and attending to customers. I've never waited in line for more than a minute or two and the staff is always very friendly when ringing me up. The selection of inventory compared to the other Dick's location in Citrus Park is at least double the size of inventory, if not tripled. My only complaint about Dick's Sporting Goods in general, is how bad their rewards program is. You get a $10 gift card when you spend $300. I get the gesture that you want to "reward" your customers, but nothing about this entices me to spend more money here. 3% doesn't get me excited when it comes to a rewards program. It's no wonder why Sports Authority is now out of business due to more Dick's locations popping up near former Sports Authority stores. The stores are nicer, cleaner and the selection is flat out better. read more

Terrible customer service from Mike in what I believe is bike assembly. I asked Mike who I should call in the event one of my bicycles was lost in delivery and Mike advised Fedex. I attempted to respond that I had already contacted Fedex and they appeared to have mis-delivered or lost the bikes. Mike repeatedly interrupted me "YOU NEED TO START WITH STOP ONE AT FEDEX, YOU NEED TO SPEAK WITH FEDEX, YOU NEED TO SPEAK WITH FEDEX." I could not get a word in and asked to speak with a manager. Mike put me on hold then answered the phone 5 minutes later as if I was a new customer. I explained to Mike that I had not spoken to a manager and I did not feel as if I was being treated by a customer, and Mike began to argue that was not the case. I advised Mike I had already begun the process with Fedex, and his response was "WELL WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT?" I advised him that he would not allow me to speak and Mike argued further and put me on another hold indefinitely. I am really ashamed for Dicks that they would employ such an individual. I spent over $1k on bikes was treated like dirt. Back Story: I ordered 2 bicycles online from Dick's Sporting Goods. I received a confirmation email for my order, and the following day I receive two emails separately confirming my bikes were on delivery. I received update tracking emails from UPS that my bikes would arrive on 4/6/19. That day one bike arrived. It turned our that Dicks shipped one bike UPS, and another Fedex. After retrieving my Fedex tracking info it reflected one bike was delivered 4/2. I was working from home that day and no bike had arrived. I double checked my doorbell camera and confirmed. I started an investigation with Fedex that did not resolve the issue. I have one bike and purchased 2. No one will give directive. read more

I wasn't even able to ask my question. Then we ben i called again, they answered my question but i had a mother one and they hung up on me again no greeting or closing or anything. They have a great selection of workout gear for everything that you might need, especially for runners or cross fit enthusiasts. Large Nike collection. Dicks has everything to keep you looking sharp if you plan on sweating! This store is very clean, laid out with a shopper in mind, wide bright isles & colorful displays. I've been in several times since it opened. Every time I go to this store its hit or miss.. either its a lot of staff members milling about talking or absolutly nobody around at all. Today I wandered the fishing area for ten minutes before finding what I was looking for. Not a salesperson in sight. Overall its an impressive higher end retailer for sporting goods. read more

We went into Dick's looking for a bat for our grandson and was greeting by a female employee that definitely new her stuff about baseball bat, I was very impressed and talked with her for quite a bit of time about how different bats would help or hinder my grandson. My wife went looking for cleats and couldn't find any men's cleats for baseball, only kids cleats and tons of cleats for soccer and football. I understand it's no longer baseball season for most, but the high schools are already practicing and still need the correct type of shoes to wear. My one big complaint about this store is the pricing, it's very expensive and almost makes me go to somewhere like play it again sports or walmart, just to save money. Too bad, they have a great selection on most things, just can't always afford to pay the extremely high prices that they want for things. read more

After emailing customer support I got a prompt reply back the same day and since the item was still in stock, an exchange was arranged with no hassle at all. There should be an option for a negative star just for the manager that was working tonight at this store. Went in to return a pair of shoes that I had bought for my dad which didn't quite fit him right , thought it would be a quick in and out process but OH NO the manager made sure I had the worst experience in my life. 1st He said that the shoes was already returned for the receipt which I had brought in WITH THE SHOES, then he checked in the storage to confirm that there was another pair of exact shoes (what if the shoes was missing?), then he accused me that the receipt is showing returned in their system because I might have used coupons after purchasing the shoes and when I said NO he kept insisting -"people always do that and later bring back the original receipt to get full refund". He was practically accusing me of lying, cheating and stealing. When I asked him to check in their system for the transactions of all the ACCUSATIONS he had made he kept saying HE CAN'T track them. After 30 mins of hostile accusations he finally refunds my money then he has the nerve to ask me "why are you mad after all you got what you want?" Really ?
