Everyone that has helped us here has been nothing but nice, everytime I walk in. There was a dude that asked for the bathroom and was pissed. Just walk downstairs and go to the food court and use it there. The workers have more important things to do than help you get into the bathroom. Stop getting mad. Just go downstairs and use the public bathroom in the food court. This coming from a customer. BORING? I don't know about you, but Temecula's DICK's Sporting Goods is very underwhelming. They seem to only cater to middle-aged housewives who are "athletes", the female clientele gave me off-vibes. I didn't feel very welcomed and there were quite a few Karen-type old ladies too. Dick's focus is clothing over everything else. I was expecting more equipment, diverse sports selection (hockey, pickleball), and jerseys. The merch was super generic and only tailored to a handful of sports (baseball, basketball, jogging). They didn't even have a good selection of sporty shoes. I'll praise Dick's for being very organized and clean. I thought the store was super convenient and items (clothes) were easy to find. If you're a runner or Pilates girl, you'll like this store. How were the prices? I thought they were average, finding shoes would be cheaper and more beneficial elsewhere (and you'll find a better variety). read more

I go to the Dick's Sporting Goods in Temecula frequent enough that my last visit concerns me. I bought a pair of DSG leggings that were priced at $40.00 according to the tag that was attached. I know they were not on sale so I knew I was paying full price, which doesn't concern me. What bothers me is that my total bill, for one pair of leggings that was supposed to be $40.00 plus tax, was $49.04 ... Did sales tax go up? I don't think so. I think they charge a different price for items, even though the tag says different. Buyers beware!! I'll attach a picture of my emailed receipt for the one item, as well as a picture of the price tag attached to the leggings that I purchased. This experience has me questioning every single one of my past purchases. My son played football in highschool and we had to frequent Dick's Sporting Goods for items during the season. Did we over pay every time??? I hope that everyone watches every single scan of every single item they are purchasing. This is NOT okay. With California Sales Tax being 8.25% as of this review, my grand total should have been $43.50 out the door. That is more than what I was charged. I wonder if anyone from Dick's Sporting Goods would care to explain... Is this happening to anyone else? Do we need to review all of our past purchases, and if so, how far back?!? My wife and I have spent a lot of money at the Temecula Dicks store. We went in today to buy more stuff. My wife asked to use the restroom and was told it was not available and that she should go to the mall and use the ones near Macy's. No shot walk at all. I asked a sales clerk near the exit door why they we're doing this. I was told the toilet was broken in the ladies room. I then asked if I could use the men's room. I was told that it too was out of order. Everything we've purchased at this store is available on Amazon. Same brand names. Lower prices. Better return policy. read more

Everything about this visit was disappointing. When I walked in, no one greeted me even though I passed several employees. If you needed help, there was no one around, and when you finally did ask, staff didn't seem to know where anything was. Many customers, including myself, were looking for youth softball/T-ball cleats, but none were on display. Instead, we were told to use the app to see what was in stock. When I asked to see black cleats, I was brought white ones. On top of that, the store was absolutely filthy -- gunk stuck to the floors, skid marks, lint everywhere. Customers were wandering around trying to find help, but no one seemed to be working the floor. At checkout, there were about five people in line and only one cashier. I was purchasing several items, and the only bag available was a small black one. This was my first time at the Temecula location, and it will definitely be my last. read more

We shop in this store for sports needs and have had great experiences. Today we needed mini trampolines for a fitness class we are starting at our nonprofit. The manager JT was amazing and so helpful and they were able to discount for a good cause! They also had several employees help us out to our car and load them. The customer service here doesn't exist. You can't be the only sporting goods store in a town and treat your customers poorly. When a customer ask for a size in a soccer cleat and you just say we do t have that without looking and then walk away that's terrible. You also need to carry more sizes. They could not sell me a license because the machine which they use for that "has been down for a long time" They were completely out of most hook sizes. I needed size 10 hooks. No size 10s. Came in today for the first time since they moved locations and it really sucks because we loved the convenience of the previous Murrieta location, plus we hardly ever make it to the mall. The location is not the issue, but the customer service today was totally lacking. Unfriendly, unhelpful and hard to even flag someone for help when so many are walking around in plain clothes and a name tag. We had so many issues with getting a size for a pair of cleats, was "helped" by four different employees which was just a hot mess. It seems smaller and more cramped, everything was fully stocked and the only redeeming factor to our visit was the friendly service I received at checkout from Kobe when I was purchasing a gift card hence the additional star. Hopefully as they get up and running and acclimate to their new location, their service will also improve because Murrieta always had top notch service. read more

I will never go back to Dick's Sporting Goods in Temecula. I went in yesterday and asked for hiking poles. The rude sales person told me they did not carry hiking poles. I went back to look for bear spray where I found four sets of hiking poles. I took one set of hiking poles back to the sales rep and said to her just for your information and if anybody should ask again, you do have hiking poles. Her rude comment back to me was, I was told we didn't have hiking poles or hiking equipment. Took everything in my power to keep a smile on my face and not say anything back to her. I never been here before, they have a rack of Northface hoodies. Pictured below. Once we were in the long line from Black Friday and paying, I noticed that upon payment that it was seemed more then the 3 hoodies. The cashier said the green hoodies are not on sale and if you can see in the small highlighted area next to the price on the mannequin we would've noticed that it was only for certain hoodies. She said, but because of the misunderstanding we can adjust the price, due to the location of the hoodie. She said she just needed a manager to over ride it. Mind you, we never asked for a price adjustment or manager, it was just a question. After 10-15 minutes waiting, the manager or seemed to be manager stated sorry there is nothing we can do, northface allows multiple clothes to be on a shelf at a time with different prices. I said, that's fine but why the cashier tell us to wait for a price adjustment, her answer was, sorry she's new. I saw a guy next to me speaking to a manager as well, with him rolling his eyes and very unhappy. This place seems to be just like the rating. He was knowledgeable and gave me all my options... even when I asked a ton of questions, he answered without hesitation. Can't wait to rock my new Nike Metcons! The store is stunning, gorgeous, and organized. Yes it's located at the Promenade mall, but it has an entrance straight to the back parking lot for easy access. It was like I wasn't even at the mall and was visiting a stand-alone store. I bought several items here throughout the years always full priced. I recently came across a clothing apparel that Ive also found on a manufacturer's website for 30%. I decided to test Dick's "we will match any price offered by a retailer guaranteed". The manager simply said we cannot match that price. So... the manufacturer which is (under armour brand) is selling the item 30% off but Dicks refuse to honor it? False statement of "best price guaranteed" I ended up just getting the item straight from manufacturer. I guess thats why the store is called Dicks. Very disappointing. Cannot recommend a store that doesn't stand by their statement. read more

Purchased a soccer ball for my daughter. the ball was defective as the air would not stay in the ball longer than 1 or 2 days. I purchased the warranty and filed a claim but was denied. Dicks sells Warranties but don't stand behind them. Not happy that I spent about $34 for a ball and it's been under 30 days. Dicks won't stand behind their warranty. read more

Which really isn't "help" after all because they just go into huge storage room and walk back 5 minutes later telling you that they can't find it, even though the system says they have the shoes in stock. And if you should need soccer cleats, they're not near the other shoes, and no one works that corner, so that's another eternity of standing around just to get the same response, "Sorry. Worst Dicks I have ever seen. The fishing section is absolutely trashed and has been for months. Literally nothing is priced correctly and it is impossible to know how much anything is until you get to the register. I tried buying 5 items and NONE of them were the price that was marked. Mind you, it wasn't just 1 unit on the pegs that were mis marked, someone literally stocked it like that. Then the manager would not honor the price that was marked on the shelf essentially accusing me of putting the product there which is a weights and measures violation.
