Since it was a three day celebration I had to buy shoes for three different dresses. Long story short, I found two pairs of dressy sandals and shoes in the clearance area. I've always had problems with shoes and figured if I would take flats with me if I couldn't wear them all night. All three pairs were super comfortable and I can't wait to wear them again. The two pairs I bought the one day were normally $80 each, with discounts and coupons I paid around $72 for both pairs! The first pair I bought was $30 or so. The employees there were wonderful and real patient as I looked for email with discount codes.

The employee who assisted me showed a lack of courtesy and empathy, which made the interaction uncomfortable and upsetting. What was most disappointing was that there was no acknowledgment of the behavior and no apology at the time. For a brand that claims to value respect, inclusivity, and customer care, this experience fell far below expectations. When I found the brand of shoe I wanted, there were two or three I thought I'd try on. Imagine my surprise when every box I opened only contained a right shoe! That's right! This store, though, made me forget, for the few minutes I was there, buying some boots, that I was in the middle of that mind-numbing, world-weary place. Great service, great selection, a real throw-back to a time when shoes were truly a specialty item, sold be trained personnel. I walked in with low expectations and left with wings on my feet.
