I made an appointment because I was hearing a noise when the car was moving. I also wanted my brake fluid changed. I got a quote for the brake fluid ahead of time, and was worried I might need a new wheel bearing. Instead they removed a wire wrapped around a tire and gave me a photo of the wire as part of the billing. They checked my car over and replaced license plate lights that had burnt out. Booked an appointment to get ac work done because my brother had initially brought my vehicle there to start the ac work; which at the time, they had quoted my brother that the complete service will cost $105 (for evac/recharge since we will replace complete system ourselves). So we paid $50 for the initial evac service and will pay the other half after we put the new ac parts for so they can recharge. Arrived to the shop for my appointment, only to be surprised by the sales person stating that someone had misquoted and implied that we were lying even though I had presented the original invoice. As for the remaining service required, will now cost us $205!!!!! We had already paid $50 and now they want an additional $205. *Mind you, I had driven a hour to get to their shop. Long story short we ended up not getting the work finished by them and went elsewhere instead to get the same work done for MUCH LESS than what they wanted. Sad thing is all throughout their shop are religious paraphernalia and quotes from the bible, yet they're actions and practice reflected something much different than what they HOPE to portray. DO NOT GET YOUR WORK DONE FROM DICK'S TIRE HAUS!!! Very unethical and misleading. Huge waste of time and they will go back on their word. I would give them ZERO stars if I could. read more

I used to bring in individual tires when they went out and they're not the cheapest but they remembered me years later which is nice.

My alternator went out on my car I was stuck jiffy lube help me with my battery so I could actually get my car to jimmys( Dickson tire house) not only were they helpful and understanding on the phone but when I finally got it there yesterday I was looking at several days wait knowing I depend on my car for caregiveing they not only called me inlets then 24 hrs it was ready to be picked up but they didn't look at me as a guppy waiting to be caught they ware the best price, best service and best quality and they're nice and friendly Jimmy's or Dicks YOU ROCK if your not a mechanic your self no question their the ones to see and they pretty much service almost every thing. Had them diagnose an intermittent problem on my friends car. Left it at the shop on Tuesday right before closing. Dick (jr?) gave me their diagnoses rate for an hour on the phone, so I took the car in. Wednesday around mid day Brandon(?) called and said they figured out the problem with an estimate to repair, told them to go ahead and repair/replace the part. Thursday around 3pm I was called saying it was ready and the final price. Went down and picked up the vehicle, I believe the total cost was slightly lower than quoted, yeah! The car is running great. Recently came here to replace a tire that had been blown out. Being local to the area I wanted to stick with a non franchise if I could, I enjoy using small businesses rather than corporations. Service was prompt and upon them examining my tires they recommended replacing an additional tire because it was already on it last life, quoted me and said it would be done the next day, I paid the quote and lucky had a spare vehicle to use for the next day. Unfortunately my car was never called about the next day for pick up, or the following day until noon when I decided to call them. I spoke to a man that said he would get right on it, after he "finished his sandwich"... My car was then available when they called later that day at 2pm. The tires are good and the price wasn't terrible, but time is money and I would have spent more to have my car a day earlier. read more

Called Dicks during the recent Snowmageddon here in the PNW. I needed to have my winter wheels/tires installed before we got buried in snow and they were very helpful. The younger staff member was very polite, funny, and knowledgeable. The cost was great too! Dan and his crew are amazing, I went in short notice to check inventory. When Dan saw how low the tread on my tires was he personally took the the time to put 4 new tires on my vehicle even though they seemed very busy, i definitely recommend them i got some great rubber at great prices. This place has great customer service! They are totally trustworthy, which I think is huge for car repairs. I brought my car to them to have some work done on a wheel bearing. They called around with me there to find the most affordable place to purchase the part and saved me $70 right off the bat. In the process of replacing the bearing they misplaced a small piece that cause my ABS light to turn on. Not only did they replace the part, they admitted their mistake, explained it thoroughly, and did all the additional work free of charge. They definitely aren't the cheapest (which they will tell you if you ask), but you can be sure you'll have an honest assessment and piece of mind. read more

6 weeks ago I was visiting my mother in Duvall, WA. I had just driven up from California on tires that should have had some mileage left on them. The second day I was there my low tire pressure light came on and I went to get it checked out. I went to Dick's Tire Haus because I like to support letter local businesses. It was a great decision. All my tires had lost about 8 - 10 lbs. of pressure. They checked them and could find no reason. They filled the tires back up and said to see what happens. The next day when I got in my car it was the same thing. Because technically they could find no visible problems with the tires they discussed with me the option of just driving back with them like this and just being aware of the pressure in them while traveling. They felt it would most likely be safe for me as long as I kept an eye on that. I decided that I didn't want to deal with that. There was no pressure from them at all. I also knew that we were moving to Flagstaff, AZ right after I got home and I was going to need good all weather tires eventually anyway so I decided to do it then. I chose to go for one of the top of the line all weather tires on my little car. They in no way pressured or even suggested that I spend the money I did. That was completely my choice and since I know that the few inches of rubber that touches the road is what keeps me safe, I always get the best tires I can. My car is relatively new and the tires on it were original and not the greatest but had done there job until that time. Dick's Tire Haus ordered what I wanted and set up an installation time that worked for me. They also balanced and aligned all four new tires. The alignment was done at my request. There customer service was amazing, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend this business to everyone! Good job Dick's Tire Haus!!! read more

On October 28th 2016 we dropped of the vehicle to have the breaks done in the morning. They said it would ready for pickup at noon time. Noon time arrived and the work had not even been started. Finally the vehicle was ready at 6pm at closing time. However unbeknownst to us now the rear break light was stuck on which caused the battery to go dead. We called them back and explained to them what was going on and that the problem was not there before we had the break job done. They told us that it wasnt a problem and they would take care of it and to bring it in. They finally left a message and stated the vehicle was ready and that we could pick it up anytime. Because of our schedules it was not until after hours just like all four other times we have had work completed by them. Two weeks later we received a phone call from them asking when we were coming into pay our bill which we had no idea there was a bill because we did not recieve a face to face qoute or written estimate of the cost. We were under the impression because they caused the problem they would fix the problem. So i attempted to go in to resolve the dispute without any luck and was told the owner would contact me which of course has not happened yet which is disappointing because up until this situation we have strongly been pro small business and supporting our community. However because of this we will nolonger be bringing our business there. Unfortunately it appears I will have to take them to court to resolve the matter. read more
