    Gas station diner
    Camsie M.

It's a diner in a gas station. It's zero frills. The menu is handwritten on a white board. The food is delicious. The staff is super friendly. Other customers are welcoming. Prices are cheap. Service is quick. The owner came out from the back to meet me when I said I found them here on Yelp. Such a nice guy- even if the food hadn't been good I would have made plans to return if back in the area. But the food was goooooood. Highly recommended.

Steak biscuits and grits so good

Went yesterday for a chicken biscuit. Yes off top and went back today for steak biscuit and grits!! Just a southern girl looking for the southern cooking lol and to add I'm pregnant with cravings so they may see every morning now and both of the ladies were very nice & I love the fact they have a drive-thru !!!

Up front I'll tell you I got here late in their day. That was bad on my part considering they had a busy day. My choices were very limited. So my review likely isn't the best it could be. Staff is excellent and very helpful. The air of service is present and I think they generally really like the restaurant business. Atmosphere could use an updating. I suspect they won't rush into it in the next 7-10 years. Biscuit was great. Gravy was fair... I'd like more flavor. It seemed a bit light on the flavor front. Fried steak was dry on one edge due to the steam table. Again my bad for coming in so late. Coleslaw was a bit sweet. The dressing as a tad thin so it was runny. I would have appreciated it sticking to the slaw itself. Potato salad was just like my mom's. I'd suggest adding just a bit of pickle relish to add dimension to it. I'll return to sample more and do so earlier in the day.

I have going here for a couple of years ... the food has always been good and nice and fresh and generous portions ... the staff has always been very friendly and helpful ... nice country place ... but this time was exceptionally awesome because of Jess!! I took my dog,Oreo and when I ordered I told Jess I wanted to order a plain hot dog for him ... she cooked the hot dog and cooked it for him... Oreo and I both enjoyed or food and we thank you, Jess for the extra attention

We almost missed this restaurant and at first drove by. It's in the far corner of a gas station and has a drive thru for convenience. The best deal on the menu is the breakfast bowl. For under $4 you get an ample helping of grits, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon. I ordered a side of hash browns, which they forgot and over cooked before they brought them to me. I was disappointed that they were from a box, over fried, and void of flavor. This little joint has character and a lot of older locals came in while we were there. The servers behind the counter exude a lot of Southern hospitality and that goes a long way!

This isn't southern cooking. But if you like it then enjoy. Not for my taste buds. But it gets regular traffic.

The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. It tastes like vanilla. Done to perfection.

I came here to catch the game, eat some wings, and unwind. Instead, I ended up reconsidering all my life choices -- starting with walking through the front door. Let's talk food, or as Tooey's calls it, "stuff we deep-fried and hoped for the best." The calamari? I wouldn't feed it to a sea gull with trust issues. The only way I could swallow it was by drowning it in the "Asian dressing," which tasted like it was made by someone who once read about Asia in a fortune cookie. Then came the wings. I ordered two flavors, but both felt like personal attacks. The sticky sesame wings were the kind of sticky you need therapy for, and the lemon pepper ones tasted like sadness with a side of regret. Five of each, and I finished zero. Even the tots were confused about being there -- dry, lifeless, and only slightly saved by a desperate dunk in bleu cheese. The real MVP of the night? Mango Cart beer. Cold, smooth, and the only thing that didn't make me question reality. Honestly, I should've gone to the gym. At least there, the pain is productive. If you're thinking about going to Tooey's -- don't. Unless your taste buds are into self-sabotage and you enjoy watching sports blowouts while eating edible disappointments.

While I've definitely enjoyed time at their bar for their amazing shooters . Dining in The vibe is typical when you think of a SpotsBar but there's a familiar atmosphere because the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Their Nachos though very tasty it's slightly dry so I'd recommend ordering a side of their queso to pour on top to take it to the best level of tastiness safe to say their wings are always great. They have various flavors that's always hit and never disappoint and can't forget their house ranch which is by far top Teir in the ranch category. For their CheeseSteak while I prefer yellow American over white American I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was especially how fresh the bread love that they toast it. Being from up north it's hard to find cheesesteaks in the south that hit and the bread is always what makes or breaks it for me . We decided to skip the shooters and asked if the bartender could make us some Hennessy Rita's which they did . Unfortunately that was a miss it was a bit on the sour side but we noted we should have just stuck with the shooters. I can say every time I've gone to Tooeys the last 8+ years I've never had a bad experience with the staff it could be crazy packed at the bar on SuperBowl Sunday and I've had to pick up a To-go order even in the chaos and excitement The staff never seems overwhelmed and you never feel like you're being ignored or forgotten. Every staff from waiter to bartender to hostess manager on duty to busser everyone is always ultra kind and attentive. If you're ever in a bind trying to figure out where to go for dinner don't underestimate Tooey's as an option.

Even after reviewing the menu online, the counter-ordering process can feel a bit overwhelming on your first visit, especially since the menu boards don't line up exactly with what's shown online. No worries, though--the staff is very helpful and happy to guide you through their many great options. My tablemates all enjoyed their selections, and I was very pleased with my Gyro Melt Combo. One thing that really stood out to me was how closely my meal matched the online promo photo--always a nice surprise. While I didn't try any desserts, the cakes and sweet treats on display definitely made me second-guess that decision. Looks like I have a good reason to come back.

From the makers who brought you Marietta Diner comes Yeero Village…read more It's a different style of restaurant compared to that of their predecessors that have become Atlanta staples (Cobb County). The ordering style is that of a fast food joint The service is that of your typical restaurant where they bring the food out to you. So the restaurant itself is very hybrid in terms of how they go about their business. This place is well lit, spacious, and homely yet corporate enough to pass as a franchise type joint. Seats roughly 90 people or so between 4 top tables and booths. It's clean, quaint, and with the traditional Greek soundtrack playing the background, they want you to sort of feel like you're looking at the Aegean Sea while a lyre is playing in the background... but really you're looking at Publix so they can only do so much. Let's go with the food... It's Yeero Village. So I had to try the traditional Greek style Gyro. There is something to be said for the attempt at authentic and it seems like they do it right here. The meat isn't the beef/lamb conglomerate we are all used to when we think "gyro". Here, for it to be authentically Greek, the meat is pork based, not beef based which is typical of the Americanized gyro, which is an interesting take. But rest assured, the gyro was flavorful!!! They married the flavors of the meat which was tender as all get out, the tzatziki sauce, and tomatoes all were balanced and intermingled well. And the pita was fluffy The salad was a bit disappointing. The romaine was shredded and you can't really get a good forkful. The dressing was tart. Too many tomatoes. And just three Kalamata olives??? Come on!!! I did opt for the Greek style potatoes which, I'm glad I did because they were cooked in a way that the flavors seemed to be infused into the potatoes which I was a big fan of! I also had to grab their rice pilaf. The rice was pillowy yet had an al dente texture to it that made each forkful all that more enjoyable! All in all, the folks who brought us Marietta Diner definitely had an idea and developed this place nicely! At $14.95 for a gyro combo with a side of your choice plus the aforementioned salad with tax and your choice for a tip, it's a good $16-$17 meal which is comparable to that of fast food or Panera just a few blocks down! Definitely recommend.
