    Eggs grits, sausage.

Really nice local country breakfast cafe. Food was hot and delicious. Biscuit was fluffy and had a nice flavor . It was not a cat head biscuit size . I would say a normal size. I opted for a breakfast plate which came with grits , biscuit , gravy, eggs , and choice of meat. I opted for country fried steak which is a smaller size portion but tasted really good. The service is fast casual as you order at the counter and pick up and pay. The service is efficient and fast and the server is really sweet and friendly speaking to all the customers. I imagine many customers are regulars. The ambiance is country roadside cafe. The kind of whole in the wall , next to a convenience store place that rarely disappoints . If you are looking for avocado toast and lattes, this ain't your place. No ferns, no table service , no seafood omelette. This is just a solid breakfast and lunch diner with hot good food and friendly efficient service.

It's a diner in a gas station. It's zero frills. The menu is handwritten on a white board. The food is delicious. The staff is super friendly. Other customers are welcoming. Prices are cheap. Service is quick. The owner came out from the back to meet me when I said I found them here on Yelp. Such a nice guy- even if the food hadn't been good I would have made plans to return if back in the area. But the food was goooooood. Highly recommended.

Steak biscuits and grits so good

Went yesterday for a chicken biscuit. Yes off top and went back today for steak biscuit and grits!! Just a southern girl looking for the southern cooking lol and to add I'm pregnant with cravings so they may see every morning now and both of the ladies were very nice & I love the fact they have a drive-thru !!!

Up front I'll tell you I got here late in their day. That was bad on my part considering they had a busy day. My choices were very limited. So my review likely isn't the best it could be. Staff is excellent and very helpful. The air of service is present and I think they generally really like the restaurant business. Atmosphere could use an updating. I suspect they won't rush into it in the next 7-10 years. Biscuit was great. Gravy was fair... I'd like more flavor. It seemed a bit light on the flavor front. Fried steak was dry on one edge due to the steam table. Again my bad for coming in so late. Coleslaw was a bit sweet. The dressing as a tad thin so it was runny. I would have appreciated it sticking to the slaw itself. Potato salad was just like my mom's. I'd suggest adding just a bit of pickle relish to add dimension to it. I'll return to sample more and do so earlier in the day.

I have going here for a couple of years ... the food has always been good and nice and fresh and generous portions ... the staff has always been very friendly and helpful ... nice country place ... but this time was exceptionally awesome because of Jess!! I took my dog,Oreo and when I ordered I told Jess I wanted to order a plain hot dog for him ... she cooked the hot dog and cooked it for him... Oreo and I both enjoyed or food and we thank you, Jess for the extra attention

We almost missed this restaurant and at first drove by. It's in the far corner of a gas station and has a drive thru for convenience. The best deal on the menu is the breakfast bowl. For under $4 you get an ample helping of grits, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon. I ordered a side of hash browns, which they forgot and over cooked before they brought them to me. I was disappointed that they were from a box, over fried, and void of flavor. This little joint has character and a lot of older locals came in while we were there. The servers behind the counter exude a lot of Southern hospitality and that goes a long way!

Listen! I ate and left no crumbs...literally!…read more I was looking for a breakfast spot and this place popped up. It's one of those places that you don't know exist unless you know it's there. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

The sweet tea is good without being too sweet. Its a buffet but we had a server who was on spot the whole meal. They play country music via Sirius xm radio which makes for a relaxing meal. That is how much trust I had in them. I ordered takeout from the Lawrenceville location and was a little more than halfway through my potato salad when my spoon hit something it wouldn't go through. I pulled it out thinking it was a dark piece of food, only to realize it appeared to be a tightly rolled/twisted piece of a black disposable food-service glove embedded in my potato salad. I had already eaten more than half of it. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty, who told me their food is made fresh and gloves are changed frequently and said, "If I was making the potato salad, that wouldn't be in there. That wouldn't happen." I was told a district manager would contact me. Nobody did. After more than 24 hours with no call, no follow-up, and not even a refund, I called the restaurant again myself. The second manager I spoke with was genuinely disturbed by what happened and couldn't believe nobody had contacted me or refunded my order. He told me he would personally reach out to management, and I still heard nothing. At that point, I reported the incident to Environmental Health, who told me they would be following up with the restaurant and conducting an inspection. I'm not writing this because I enjoy hurting a local business. Quite the opposite. This was a restaurant my family supported for years and trusted with our wedding. But finding what appears to be part of a disposable glove embedded in food I had already mostly eaten is completely unacceptable, and the complete lack of response from management has made it worse. Mistakes happen, but a disposable glove does not belong in someone's potato salad, and when something this serious happens, the customer should not have to chase management just to get a response. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant. I expected a phone call, an apology, an explanation of how this happened, and some reassurance that it was being addressed. Instead, after years of supporting this restaurant, I couldn't even get a phone call or a refund. That's unacceptable. UPDATE: The owner, Brad, called me regarding this complaint. During our conversation, I told him that after finding a piece of glove in my food, I expected a refund for my meal because, frankly, I feel that is the least the restaurant could do. His response was, "So that's just what you want, money? You're just looking for money." He also questioned whether the material could have come from their restaurant. To be clear, I am not "looking for money." I am asking to be refunded for a meal that had a foreign object in it. I contacted the restaurant first and waited two days for someone to address this before contacting the health department. This restaurant catered my wedding, so I did not make this complaint lightly. I expected the situation to be taken seriously, an apology, and a refund for the meal. Instead, I was made to feel as though I was being accused of having some financial motive for reporting what I found. Customers deserve to know how a legitimate food-safety complaint was handled.
