Shipped a car from Oregon to Upstate NY through Autozipper (Broker). Broker was fine, Diesel had horrible communication, delayed at least three times and constantly moving the estimated delivery by a couple days at a time and never communicating unless poked and annoyed by me. The driver was great so when things go well they go well which is probably why the reviews are so high. Otherwise when they go poorly hope you can live without the car for a month. I am so impressed with Diesel Auto Express! Everything went so smoothly - better than I imagined. This review will be long but if you are like I was, you may be so nervous about this process. I was so stressed! I'd never done this before and after all the YouTube videos I watched from this one guy, and after the research I did, I didn't know what to expect other than a stressful process with things going wrong - but I need not have worried! So maybe this review will help you if you are thinking of car transport. I went through a broker - Montway, who did great but Diesel Auto Express is the star here and they did all the real work. I will be reviewing Montway separately. I booked about 2 1/2 weeks before I needed the car to be shipped. I gave the 5 day window, which was April 28th. Montway indicated that my credit card would not be charged until the driver/company was assigned and that's exactly what happened. A few days before the 28th, Montway contacted me that Diesel Auto Express would be my driver/company. Soon after that, a driver from DAE contacted me and said he'd be picking up my car on the 28th! That driver had to cancel on the day of pick up on the 28th and I thought, 'well here we go - just like that Youtube guy said about car transport nightmares!" However, a few hours later, another driver contacted me and it was back on for the 28th! Since I live in the WNC mountains, I met my driver at a big parking lot about 10 minutes from me. The whole process was smooth and professional. My driver was neatly dressed, personable, and professional. He took a lot of photos and didn't waste any time at all. Once that was done, I signed on his phone, and my car was ready to be loaded. I did not stay for the loading as the driver indicated it would take a while (it was a huge truck). I was a little nervous leaving before it was loaded but I also felt that my car was in good hands. My driver had said he would be transferring the car to a local driver in Oregon with DAE. He gave me an ETA of 7 days to arrive on May 5. The local driver contacted me on 5/4 - a day early! - and after an initial phone call, we texted back and forth a few times. He gave me an ETA of arrival and sure enough, he was there right on time! WOW! Though I didn't meet him face to face, he was super nice but also professional on the phone/text. Once he arrived at my son's house, it took him just a few minutes to unload my car. Fast and efficient. I had 96 pounds of various things in the cargo area of my Subaru and I was completely surprised that not a thing was out of place - not one thing had shifted! Even something I had placed on top of some boxes was still right where I put it. DANG! That's impressive. No dings or scratches or dents as far as I know - my son and daughter -in - law looked it over for me and we Facetimed while he was unloading it. The driver also took photos. My car arrived just as I left it! I would definitely recommend Diesel Auto Express. They communicated very well - they were nice but professional - and most of all they took very good care of my car. read more

I cannot begin to stress how much you should avoid this carrier. I was expecting my vehicle as I was communicated to on Wednesday August 12. They keep postponing without any proactive comunication, claiming the truck is broken down. When I called to inquire, the operator tried to extort me to pay via Zelle before delivery for a presumably speedier delivery of my car. My 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 arrived a month late to Kauai because Diesel Auto Express missed the containter drop-off window, then missed then next containter drop-off window and finally made the 3rd attempt after I was calling them daily. They were supposed to pickup the vehicle from my house and their driver asked for my truck to be driven 30 minutes away to the nearest Home Depot at midnight since their truck was too big to enter residential neighborhoods. Extremely unprofessional, damaged my car, and no response to my claim. I had a terrible experience with this company during my car delivery. I missed the initial drop-off, so I arranged to pick the car up myself directly from the driver at his preferred location. I was assured there would be no additional charge for doing this, yet the whole process ended up taking me nearly 3 hours. The driver, Artem, was extremely disrespectful throughout. He repeatedly demanded that I send him money and threatened to take my car if I didn't pay him. He verbally abused me, made vulgar gestures, and handled my vehicle recklessly, slamming the doors and braking hard. On top of that, the car had scratches that were not there before, which I strongly believe were caused during his handling. To make matters worse, the company has not responded to any of my claim requests regarding the damage. This level of unprofessionalism, intimidation, and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone against using this company for vehicle delivery. read more

Transported 2 cars and damaged both. They will not pay for the damage. Driver threatened us, insisted on delivery at 11pm in pouring rain so damage was almost impossible to see.
