Apparently she told me if I wanted to keep all her things to at least pay for their service in which I did. Good thing we coordinated because I just moved in to my new place and needed all the furnishings. I met the minimum for their service and they provided a reasonable contract and in turn everything turned out great! She even told how they carefully wrapped and packed up everything as well. These guys are seriously the best! The last time I moved I hired some workers from the local Home Depot and rented a truck... Some of my items got broken, some got stolen and my furniture got scratched!!! I ended up having to replace or repair these items and the cost of that was far more than I would have paid to hire a company. For my second move I hired these guys. WOW what a difference! They were super careful with my stuff, had all the supplies I could possibly need and also were super efficient. I will never use another company ever again! These people are literally the best at what they do and because they're insured you never have to worry about your stuff getting broken or stolen! The reason they have some good reviews is because they're fishing on Craigslist to pay people to write good reviews, which I believe is against Yelp's ToS. We moved my mom from Eugene to Olympia in less than a day. We did the packing and they were really good about taking care of her antiques. They showed up on time and were very professional. By the time we had contacted these movers we had enough of a head start to get all of our things packed up and ready for them to arrive and start loading. All of the guys we got assigned were hard workers and they spent no time fooling around, they got straight to work. Before we even got a chance to offer to help we had realized they had cleared out an entire room, we had a large basement that needed to be emptied out as well. Hire them, you won't be sorry! Contacting them was super easy. Although they didn't pick up the time I called, I received a call-back within 20 minutes. Setting up service was simple. Packing blankets were provided for the furniture and they took extra precautions on certain materials. The crew had no problem parting out and putting things back together if needed. The move-in location was situated on the third floor but that didn't stop Long Distance Movers from going any slower or having issues. Well, we have had the experience of having our son moved from Marina del rey California to Northeast Portland by your company. His oldest brother and girlfriend did the packing and said that the people who came to pick up his brother's things were so amazing and so professional that it was a pleasure. I must say that my oldest son is a perfectionist as I am and for him to pay that high of a compliment about anyone is pretty darn amazing. Patrick Simms who took care of our paperwork etc. and arranged the move was a lovely person to work with and when I couldn't get him on the phone the other people who were there answered every question I had and took care of us so well. The load of furniture was just dropped off this afternoon and the men who delivered it, John and his partner, could not have been lovelier or more helpful than they were. I never knew how helpful it would be to actually hire a professional company to help you out with moving. If you think about it, this is a niche market that has always and will presumably continue to exist forever! People are always moving, but it is such a hassle and headache to deal with. But after getting into reach with these guys, my entire perspective has changed! They were worth every single penny. They helped us packing, organizing, and transporting all of our boxes, including fragile and sentimental objects that we have had for years. They were very personable and caring gentlemen who knew that it was our personal belongings that they were handling and seemed to portray great care and respect towards our stuff. I really appreciated that. Upon finishing the packing and all, we received two more gentlemen who had straps around their stomachs and brought these insane looking dollies and hoists. They were the guys in charge of lifting the heaviest things apparently, the refrigerator and washing machines and the other things. I honestly did not know what we would do without their help!
