Dr Chuck DiFranco is very professional and caring. I've had some extensive work done by him and the first time due to the circumstances and issue I was scared. Dr Chuck put me at ease and I did not feel anything the entire time. I was amazed at how "painless" the procedure was .. they even checked on me the next day! Needless to say my next few procedures also went off without any issues and I've been back for periodic checks and cleanings. Bridget and Rosetta do a wonderful job. From the moment you walk in through to the moment you leave there is never a doubt you are in great hands. Office and clerical staff are excellent with appointments, calling if there is a cancellation to move you up and dealing with the insurance. Appointments are well scheduled, on time, and the waiting room is beautiful, welcoming and cozy with a great selection of reading material. I am happy to report that all my fears and anxieties about periodontal work and surgery are gone thanks to Dr. Josie Difranco and the amazing professionals at DiFranco Periodontics! I came in with dental pain in late August and after a consultation with Dr. Josie began a treatment plan.I had 3 deep scaling and root planing treatments with Rosetta and a cleaning the likes of which I've never had. Rosetta put me at ease right away and I still can't figure out how she does those injections! They were seamless and I felt nothing throughout the 3 treatments. My first gum surgery with Dr. Josie was in November. Dr. Josie pays so much attention to detail , that she had Rosetta numb me for the surgery as she remembered how well my prior treatments went with her. Dr. Josie explained everything in great detail, has a very calming and reassuring way about her, and explains what is going on throughout the surgery which I appreciate. She is truly the consumate professional in every way!! Libby assisted and the surgery went better than I ever could have imagined. They explained aftercare and Dr. Josie gave me her card and said to call her if I had any concerns or questions. That night I only took 1 Tylenol when the phone rang and it was Dr. Josie asking me how I was doing!!! Who does that anymore!!!!!!!! I was so touched by her concern and happy to report that I felt fine. Finally, my 2nd surgery, and happy to report that all went well once again. EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE & THOROUGH I was referred to Dr. DiFranco Jr. by my dentist, Dr. Samuel Skurie. Dr. DiFranco Jr. IS very professional, knowledgeable, thorough and excellent. He took time to explain the details of a specific procedure. I never felt rushed. In 2018, Dr. DiFranco performed a deep scale cleaning. He was thorough. He was gentle. He did an excellent job. I did not need any Ibuprofen. I had no issues days after the procedure. Nothing. No pain or discomfort. Dr. DiFranco and the staff are polite, kind and compassionate. By the time he began the deep scale procedure I was not nervous. I felt very calm and knew I could trust Dr. DiFranco Jr. He was gentle and thorough. In June 2019, I returned for a consultation regarding a tooth extraction in the lower left side. I had a root canal performed 3 years ago. It is the exact same molar that now requires extraction. The post holding the molar in place cracked causing an infection. My dentist prescribed an antibiotic. The infection resolved within 3 days. However, the molar cannot be saved because it is also cracked. Although I did extensive research online regarding implants versus a bridge, I asked Dr. DiFranco to please explain the procedure regarding an implant. He explained the details, step by step, and why it is a very long process. It can take anywhere from 10 to 12 months. He further explained I would need a bone graft. Why? I do not have enough bone in that specific area of my gums to hold a post in place. The bone graft entails using real human bone. I was surprised how long the implant process takes, but I know long-term it is well worth having an implant (versus a bridge). Although I have excellent dental insurance I want to know what my out-of-pocket cost will be. Implants cost thousands of dollars. Thankfully, I only need 1 implant (1 molar). Dr. DiFranco indicated they will submit documents to my insurance to obtain information pertaining to my out-of-pocket cost. This is a family-owned practice/business. Dr. DiFranco Jr's father started the practice many, many years ago. The employees are very personable, kind, professional and excellent at following up. The office is bright, clean and modern. The front desk is very long and located to the right. The patient lobby is nicely organized, clean with plenty of magazines to read. The office building is very deceiving, because it looks very small. However, the interior is pretty large. The parking lot is small, but it's free parking. The building is not visible from the street. However, the sign is visible from the street. The building is located across the street from a 7/11 store and on the South side of Talcott. I highly recommend Dr. DiFranco Jr. because they are experts who specialize in specific surgical procedures and other specialty areas that a dentist does not. Furthermore, they are very thorough, professional, kind, ethical, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. They use state-of-the-art technology. Dr. DiFranco Jr. graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. He is a surgeon and is excellent. read more

I had such a great experience at the DiFranco Periodontics office this afternoon. I felt very welcomed by the front staff, they reassured me on any questions that I had and were very organized. The office was very clean and met my expectations. All the staff were very friendly and made me feel at ease throughout my whole visit. I have a fear of dentists. When I first met Dr. Chuck Sr. for a consult, my blood pressure went sky high because I was really nervous about the prospect of extractions and periodontal surgery. After a few minutes of speaking with Dr. Chuck I was completely calm and relaxed. To date, he has performed periodontal surgery to both sides of my mouth, extracted two back molars and started work on implants. Dr Chuck is gentle and thorough. Never once during all of the procedures he has done on my mouth did I ever feel pain. The thing that impressed me most is that Dr. Chuck sings and hums while he is working. That told me that he was relaxed and confident. Additionally, the music in his office rocks!!! Dr. Chuck is a very nice man with a good sense of humor. Let me start by saying this office has saved my moms teeth. My mom has had extensive work done at this office. Periodontal surgery with Dr. Chuck, Implants with Dr. Josie and continues to have oral hygiene care with Rosetta. My mom cannot say enough about the professionalism and integrity of this office. She has been treated with great care and has had amazing results. Dr. Chuck, Dr, Josie and Rosetta are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain things to help you feel confident and put you at ease. I just moved back to IL from New York and made an appointment with Rosetta to have my teeth cleaned. Rosetta not only gave me the best cleaning I have ever had. She inspected my gums and also followed up on a suspicious area on my gums and referred me to Dr Josie. Dr Josie took all precautions on this area on my gums and I knew I was in great care. The treatment I recieved from Dr. Josie exceeded my expectations. I could relax and I had confidence with Dr. Josie because I knew I had the best working on me. I highly recommend this office. I just returned last night from my 4th visit to Dr. DiFranco's office, and all I can say is its so nice to leave a doctors office with less anxiety than you arrived! That being said, all I can say is Dr. DiFranco has an awesome chairside . He explains procedures in a way that keeps you calm, yet feeling very confident that he knows what is in your best interest. Previous visits with his girls also were both very pleasant and calming, and having scaling on your teeth is not high on my list, but they both did an awesome job. The girls were both very pleasant and personable before, during, and after the visit. The reason why this office is so great is their honesty and bookkeeping. I had a procedure completed, but beforehand the office got a preestimate of the charges and asked me to pay what the insurance did not cover. Sure, no problem, paid the bill before the procedure. When they did bill the insurance, the insurance paid $200 more than we thought! I thought I would have to fight and harass them for my money back. I DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO MAKE A PHONE CALL. In less than a week, I received a check from the office for my overpayment. Sad to say, but these days, customer service like that does not exist. They contacted my dentist to get my insurance info because I didn't have it with me and then submitted all the paperwork in advance, and gave me a quote,which was a lot less than I was expecting. Dr. DiFranco and his entire team have changed my life. I have needed dental implants for over 10 years and because of Dr. DiFranco, I just had the LAST procedure done in March and now I have permanent implants and a brand new smile that I will be forever grateful for. I have been to many different dentists, orthodontists, and periodontists in my life and this particular doctor unlike any other. He corrected a prior implant surgery, did bone graphs, and prepped my bone/gums for beautiful implant placement. Dr. DiFranco and team were there through the surgeries and so supportive during recovery, they schedule appointments efficiently, and called to remind me as well. Over the course of my surgery, all of the employees became like family and I really can't say that about any other medical/dental facility. These people care about their patients, Dr. DiFranco made every experience comfortable, explained why the procedure needed to take place, and never asked about money. Because of this, I made sure I paid them ASAP and made it a point to take care of my dental bills, since they took care of me. In this day and age I find all of these things so important. I am forever grateful and the moment my implants were put in, I was the happiest I had ever been (and could show it with a stellar smile!).
