I had a chip in the windshield of my Tesla Model 3. Travis advised he could be at my home between 3:30 and 4:00. He arrived at 3:30. The car was in my garage as per his recommendation. I understand the glass needed to be cool. He went to work immediately. Not sure how long. it took. Maybe a half hour. Then asked me to look at the repair to insure it was satisfactory. I couldn't find the chip. He showed me the place where it had been. There was virtually no trace of the chip! The cost was a fraction of replacement, but the result was equal to replacement. Received a pretty large chip with surrounding surface damage and some cracking from a kamikaze rock flying on good, ol' highway 156 (on that no barrier, semi-truck laden, pebble extravaganza on shoulders stretch of road; its only a matter of time). It was rock vs windshield on our Camry this past weekend. The rock won. On Monday I called Pacific Coast Auto Glass and left a message requesting a price quote. I contacted Pacific Coast Auto Glass on Sunday and was shocked when the owner called me back within an hour or so of me calling (I didn't even leave a message because I e-mailed him through their website and he still called me back!!).
