This is my favorite Thai place in South Orange County. For the price, it offers the best taste the freshest food and simply delivers on all of our favorites. I've been here many times for today just reminded that this place just hits today. I ordered the Thai cashew nut with chicken and it slapped so hard. $13.95 for the lunch special with chicken is pretty incredible in 2026. It's not very big so don't come here with a huge group but if it's just you and a couple friends, this is hard to beat! read more

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this restaurant. This is the first time I ordered from here, and I was excited to try a new Thai place. I ordered the Thai BBQ chicken online through DoorDash, which is connected to their Yelp page. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick it up, they told me that they were out of Thai BBQ chicken, They said they tried to call me, but I didn't have any messages on my voicemail. I told them I'd like a refund. They tried calling DoorDash to see how they could process the refund, but DoorDash left them hanging on the phone for a long time. Finally I told them I'll order something else that's close in price to the Thai BBQ chicken since they couldn't give me a refund. I chose the Yellow Curry and a Thai tea. I've had both before at other restaurants. When I brought my food home, I ate it right away as I had spent about 30 min waiting at the restaurant. About 15-30 minutes later, my bottom lip swelled up like a balloon. Apparently I was allergic to something in the yellow curry. As mentioned, I've had yellow curry at other Thai restaurants and I've never had an allergic reaction to it. It took approximately 24 hrs until the swelling went away. The reason for the 2 stars instead of 1 is because one of the workers, Sarah, was very nice and accommodating while she tried to figure out how to give me a refund through DoorDash. She also offered me extra rice and another Thai tea. Unfortunately I would not return to this restaurant due to the bad experience and the swollen lip. They should've taken the Thai BBQ chicken off the online menu. Had they done that, none of this would've occurred. I also can't trust that any of their other dishes won't give me an allergic reaction. read more

The food was delicious, the service was pretty good, the restaurant is clean and well maintained. I wanted to try another Thai place, so we went to Diho Siam. My daughter ordered the pad Thai. I ordered a green Thai curry and asked them to make it spicy - level 4 out of 5. The lunch special came with either a soup or a salad. We both ordered the soup. The server came out a while later and asked us if we would both like a salad, on the house, before the soup, since they were still preparing the soup. I decided to skip the soup and go with the salad. My daughter kept the soup. The salad was a bit of mixed greens - nothing special- with some sort of honey mustard dressing on top. When the soup arrived, I regretted getting the salad. The soup had veggies and chicken, and was pretty tasty. My daughter received her pad Thai and started eating, and I waited and waited. My daughter let me taste some of her pad Thai. I think she felt bad that I still hadn't received my food. The pad Thai was very good. Could have used some spice, but still very good. The server came out again and asked if I would be ok with having brown rice instead of their white rice at no extra charge. I agreed - I guess arriving at opening wasn't the way to go. I waited a little bit more, and finally my curry arrived. It was worth the wait. It was really good. It could have been more spicy, but it was still good. The curry was loaded with vegetables and chicken and was very wholesome, especially after I added rice to the bowl. Definitely could have been more spicy though. If the food wasn't as good as it was, I would have given them three stars, but I was happy with my meal. I would recommend coming here, just not right at opening. Meh. Yellow curry was the best part of this meal. Fresh rice rolls - avocado- usually my favorite appetizer, these were not good. It was like a salad in a roll - super thick cuts of cucumber, carrots, 1 piece of avocado and 50% lettuce. Skip these. Tom Yum was a weird flavor. I guess we're used to it being more lime citrus flavored but this one tasted like fish sauce and tomato. Not good - skip as well. Won't return. I'm being generous with rounding to a 3 (2.5 stars). Fantastic! Food is so yum. Service is fantastic, though they definitely stay busy. I prefer to sit outside because it can be a little loud and cramped inside when they are busy. I've been eating here since elementary school and it has always been a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Came in for dinner Saturday night. It took almost 30 minutes to be served our soup coarse and then another 10 to be served our main coarses. Food was really good. The chicken dishes had a really good crunch to them. The house special chicken had really good flavor to it as well. The pad Thai was a healthy portion and very flavorful. The chicken wings have lots of meat with a great crisp to the outside. The sauce that came with it was just okay but I added some of the chili oil to it to spice it up. For the price you're getting all of this food, I think it's well worth it to come and you should probably leave with leftovers. All of this food was just over $60. Will most definitely come back. Service was fast and easy. It was the end of the night so there wasn't that many people in there but it was quiet. read more

We are regulars as DiHo Siam and really love their beef dishes! The eggplant with beef is one that we recently tried and really enjoyed. The pad Thai and pad see ew are both fantastic! The flavors are soo authentic and the beef comes out perfectly. We also love their green curry (ask for mild if you don't like spicy cause there's definitely a little kick). The chicken can be a hit or a miss. Sometimes it comes out super juicy and other times it can be kinda dry. All in all we love this place and definitely recommend it. read more

Came here with some friends on a Sunday evening for dinner and really enjoyed my experience. The space inside was pretty small but they were surprising a good amount of seating. Plenty of parking available outside. Service was awesome, servers were friendly and came to check on us often. Food was also amazing, here's what we ordered: Tom kha: 10/10 my favorite dish! It did not look like the tom kha at other restaurants but the broth was delicious and very flavorful (came with a lot of mushrooms, for those who like/dislike mushrooms) Yellow curry: 9/10 also a great dish, came with a lot of veggies and tofu (I ordered tofu as my protein). Curry was rich and flavorful. Also comes with a serving of rice Pad Thai: 7/10 the portion size for this was very big, enough to feed 2. Both noodle dishes were dry and sticky and, here's the worst part, nearly flavorless. Just nothing. I've been to this restaurant many times and usually have a good experience, which is why I feel disappointed writing this review. Today, I ordered takeout online and got the Szechwan Bamboo Beef. While I was eating, I noticed there was still a produce label sticker on one of the green peppers in the food. This clearly shows that the vegetables were not properly cleaned or washed before being cooked. That's not a small mistake--it raises serious concerns about the kitchen's food safety standards. If something this obvious can slip through, it really makes me question how much unclean or improperly prepared food customers may be eating without realizing it. A great local Thai restaurant! I came here with my friends to celebrate a birthday, and we were all so impressed. I ordered the tamarind salmon, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, and the service was wonderful from start to finish. We ended up staying for quite a while after dinner just chatting, and we never once felt rushed or pressured to leave. It made the whole experience even better. You can never go wrong with their signature dish, the pad thai. I had it with shrimp, which was deveined with the tail removed, making your life easier. Topped with raw cabbage and carrots for a nice crunch. The peanuts compliment the noodles really well. Generous portions ensure you will leave this place and stuff. Great service, as always. After a busy morning it was time to sneak in a little fun and try a new (to me) Thai restaurant for lunch. Diho Siam was close by and had a pretty solidly priced lunch special at about $12 for some pad thai with veggies. Ordering was easy, you can do so online and get loyalty points. Not really sure what the deal with the points are, but why now? Of course Camilla didn't want a lunch special and was interested in a nice healthy papaya salad so we added that to the list! We showed up when the food was supposed to be ready but unfortunately we had to wait. I take my to go orders more seriously than most, but at least the seating area was comfortable enough. Still it was a solid wait and they ended up forgetting about me lol Oh well! Once I did get the food I was happy with the potions and how everything looked... especially the lunch special pad Thai. Lunch special pad Thai: it was yummy and thankfully not dry. I put a note in to make it spicy but it was not. While it was good, it wasn't great. Definitely on the less flavorful side. But again, not bad by any means. I don't think I'd go out of my way for this dish... but it makes me curious about their other dishes. Thai Papaya salad (som tum) I asked for it to be spicy and it had a little kick. They don't use the the little chilies so it wasn't nearly as spicy as other places who do the salad a bit more traditionally. The portion was good and they included other lettuce should you want to really get a salad going lol I wish they included some lime though, because it needed more citrus. It was a little heavier on the fish sauce then is my preference. However, it wasn't heavy on fish sauce by any means and overall was a solid effort. Camila? She enjoyed the som tum and liked that it didn't have those dried shrimps in them... she doesn't like them. I'd check out another lunch special here for sure. We've been here a few times now for their lunch special. It's a pretty solid spot for Thai food and getting your fix. The lunch special feels like the right portion with a reasonable price tag. Comes with a side salad and your entree. We got the yellow curry with chicken. Flavor was great, nice spicy kick. Their pad thai was good, noodle consistency was that perfect chewy bite. The shrimp was undercooked though, which was kinda off-putting. We got the chicken another time, and that was fine. No bathroom in the restaurant, have to go around the corner. Recently came for dinner. The place was busy for a Sunday night. And they got a lot of orders to go. We were disappointed with the pad see ew. It was rather bland this time. It definitely needs more of the Thai sweet soy sauce. We can tell because the noodles have that very light, washed out color. Hubby wanted to try their Chinese menu instead of Thai and ordered the chicken with pea pods. It was okay. We would stick with their Thai dishes next time. We get take out Thai from here on a semi regular basis as they have better prices than almost all of their nearby competitors and consistent quality. This is demonstrated by how long the wait can be on Friday or Saturday night for your take out or delivery! Everything we have had is very good and the portions are usually very generous. They have another location in Ladera Ranch that we have also visited. Both are great. read more
