Haven't been here in some time and probably my last time today. One size bucket that is basically a small bucket for $14. Highway robbery! Bucket counted to 46 balls, how is this ok? Said to the attendant "Wow, $14 for a small bucket". The response was "Your paying for the location being Swampscott/Salem, feel free to take the ride to the other two in Middleton". I will say the landscape is nice which tells why they rob you for a bucket. Do better Dilisio Brothers you own half the town and much more. read more

I just called to find out how late they were open. The guy answered and before I could even ask him to repeat himself (he mumbled everything including the business name) he hung up the phone. This place is great. The grounds are in really good condition. It's not a fancy ripoff, just a solid facility to put in some work. 11 bucks a bucket or the weekday special $25 all you can hit 8-10 am. read more

Nothing special about this place. I tried going once before, but drove out there just to find out they had decided to close early for no apparent reason. I just read another review that said they have grass tees. If that's so, they make no effort to advertise that fact. I didn't see any signs indicating there were grass tees anywhere. They must be located at the far end of the range. You'd think the gentleman at the counter would mention that I had the choice to hit off grass or mats. I found the prices to be a bit inflated at $8 for a small bucket (about 25-30 balls) and $11 for a "large" that seems to only hold 10-15 more balls. The range itself is okay. The yardage markers seem pretty accurate. There are no hoops or fun targets to aim at. The ground is pretty uneven, which makes it hard to judge the total distance of a drive since your ball could get no roll whatsoever depending on what part of the fairway it lands on. All in all, this place is ok if you just need to hit a few balls and work on your swing. If you want a little more visual stimulation, as well as more bang for your buck, you're better off driving up 114 to Paradise Golf or Golf Country in Middleton. read more

Third time at this range and the prices have gone up again. Why pay $12 dollars for a small bucket of balls. The owners are rude and not that great of a place. There are nicer ranges at better prices. Golf Country, Paradise Golf are two better ranges. read more

Nicely maintained but prices are absurd- $10 for a small bucket(probably 40-50 balls). Better to drive to Golf Country in Middleton where it's $12 for a large bucket(120 balls) read more

This place is a total shit hole. I showed up and there's a lovely port-a-potty in the parking lot. The grounds are a total mess. I had checked their website before I drove there to view their hours, etc. When I show up and pull out my debit card, the cranky old man behind the counter immediately says "Cash only!" Not in a nice way. The website said nothing about it being cash only. I had a few bucks on me, but not enough for the small bucket...so I just left. He didn't seem very disappointed to lose the business. Pretty much just glared at me. Nice first impression. I live close by, but I will not be back. The site says they close at 9, the sign at their entrance says 8, and got there at 6:30. As we were getting out of our cars the owner comes out and says that they are closed. As I asked what time they closed they rudely interrupted me and said they close at 7. Seeing as it was 6:30 I felt we had more than enough time to get at least one bucket for each of us, but as I asked I was interrupted once again and said sorry we are closed and was clearly saying things about us as we left. We will not be back and will dissuade our other friends from giving this place any business read more

Best place to hit balls for great prices on the north shore. Facilities are fantastic, new mats with a perfect amount of space to swing freely. The people that run the place are so friendly; Always willing to help you out and make sure you're having fun. There's a professional that gives fantastic swing lessons for damn good prices for good analysis and potential results. From my own experience, I've made great friends with everyone there and always can count on a good practice sessions just 5 minutes from my house. To put it simply, you can't raise a 3-time Massachusetts Junior Amateur Champion and a successful professional golfer without a good place to hit balls. 100% Recommend coming here for a fun time or serious practice. read more

This place isn't super fancy and they're maybe a little grumpy but it's pretty classic. I always hit balls there when I'm in the area. You can get lessons. Never took one so I don't know how the pros are but this is an old time, ball beater's driving range. Oh. And they only take cash. read more

Took my son here yesterday and had a great experience. The gentleman behind the counter was courteous and helped my son get a club his size. The grounds were clean and well groomed. It was not over crowded. I will definitely go back to practice here often. read more

This is the greatest place. It's like an old time gym to a boxer. You feel you are back in time with Bobby Jones. True golf people. Nothing fancy. Steve is the best guy anywhere and the owner is one of the best guys on earth. If you can't appreciate this place, you never believed in Santa.
