While I understand this is a nice perk, it was way too many and I wish she would have asked permission before giving her more than one. Another time the cashier acted like I was mean when I told her my dog could only have one treat. I spoil my dog at home but I don't know what treats they use so I didn't want her to go overboard. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I returned something and the computer messed up and the cashier didn't give me the correct amount back. He didn't understand when I tried to explain to him so I had to ask for the manager. When she didn't understand (and seemed to be accusing me of being wrong) she got the head manager. He finally understood and issued the correct refund. But the damage was done. It took too long and too many employees to fix a simple problem. And the customer service from the front line employees was not good. Computer problem or not, a smile and an apology would have gone a long way. I ended up having to set my other items down several times to step outside to get service. Not good customer service. I intended to be in and out in 5 minutes. The best we can do now is notify everyone else that looks up this establishment on yelp that their training program needs major improvement if hey're going to let high school kids run the show. I'm all about kids working but arm them with good training. Train them to for warn customers when a product is nonreturnable. Don't just depend on the customer to see a random note on a wall alongside a bunch of other papers and advertisements. We're going back to Red Chain and TSC for all of our bovine, goat and poultry needs. I suggest you do the same. 350 bucks in the trash. If you are looking for top quality pet food and people who absolutely know their products, then this is the place for you. I have a cat with a special needs digestion problem that no meds seemed to help. After visiting this store and a little trial and error, I finally found something to help her. Turns out that a wet food with pumpkin was the trick. The people are friendly and all know their products really well. They only carry high quality feeds and know the benefits of different ingredients. There's is also a loyalty card and the punches get your a discount. Since I went to Pets West to purchase supplies, treats, toys, and chews, I can say it was a huge disappointment. I attended training classes in the past and may again, but I'm skeptical given the recent reviews about boarding and daycare. On the plus side, the two employees were friendly.
