Nice little spot for pet supplies and dog washing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's a huge plus being able to clean my dog without destroying my own bathroom. The wash stations are typically kept clean (not always), the water pressure is good, and they have everything you need right there--shampoo, towels, dryers. We purchased the dispensable bird seed; it was full of worms. Ok. It happens we called and bedside manner wasn't what I expected. We went back 4-5 days later and they had cleaned out the one so we try'd a different one and still not corrected it was full of worms as well. This isn't u common an bird owners should know that you should freeze the seed for At least 48hrs min but the issue I did not feel was resolved nor did I feel they cared very much. Their bird section is also quite small an only 1/2 of an isle. Just be cautious read more

Yesterday I was in an absolute panic. My adult ball python got herself stuck inside of her faux tree that she usually climbs on. I called Pet Supply Plus asking for any suggestions. The gentleman that answered the phone was getting off in 10 minutes but said he didn't mind staying. We got there in 8 minutes flat, he took her to the back of the store while he and a manager tried to get my snake free. They had to cut the tree into pieces, but they freed my baby. As they brought her back to me, they gave me all these recommendations to help her heal (she she was pretty tore up from being squeezed and stuck for a few hours), and signs to look out for. While leaving the store, the gentleman ran back out and asked if he could say goodbye to her, and reassured me this happens all the time and she'll be fine with precaution. I could not recommend this place more, and I am ABSOLUTELY in debt with gratitude for them saving my snake's life. She's doing much better and will be having another Betadine soak today. read more

I can only find the food I get at one other store in town but they have it. It may be $2 more but it is well worth the ease of shopping there. They will even carry it to your car without you asking. Also I joined their store card (I hate them with a passion but you can give them your phone number and not vary the card around.) and I get coupons on a regular basis. The one I just used was 15% off my entire purchase. I would highly recommend checking them out for your pet needs! read more

Went by to the pet supplies plus store here in weatherford TX. Came in to buy 4 mice to start breeding for my snakes, cheap mice no problem a lot better then buying frozen all the time. I live 30 mins away in a small town that doesn't have any pet stores. So pet supplies Plus is my only close pet store options rather then driving an hour away. I came up asking for the mice, I received two adult mice in a very very small plastic container with very little room to move. And only probably 5 or 6 small pin holes for air holes. Two containers, two mice in each. No room to move. No way to breathe properly. As soon as I got to leaving, the mice started getting hot and the heat in the containers became unbearable. When I got home 3 died. And the fourth one is not breathing right. Now since these guys were so cheap I'm not gonna go out and complain. But this was ridiculous either way. I have snakes to feed and money I'm trying to save, I at least expected to get my mice home alive. Definitely will not be buying any live mice from these guys again until they decide to give better containers out that don't suffocate the mice on a 30 minute drive. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. read more
