I AM APPALLED AT THE ONLINE ORDER PROCESS. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER DO ONLINE ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION. I have never been more appalled at a process. I had ordered 2 items and it took them 3 weeks from the order date for In-store pickup. I magically called the Dillard's customer service and it was able to be picked up... I pick up my box then go to open it.. one item is in there. They said sorry that isn't our problem go back. I then called customer service about returning one of the items since it was nothing like in the box.. I go to in store try it and they tell me it had to be done online. I called customer service and waste more of my time to find out I have to do it inside the store unless I want to waste $10 of my own. I go back and the people tell me my return is only available for a gift card amount. INSANITY. And people wonder why this industry is dying. I love Dillard's but do not come to this one!!! read more

I KEEP GETTING STUCK HERE! If you are stopping in just to quickly grab something and need to be on your way, do not enter through the North entrance off of Abernathy. On the other hand, if you have a shoe or handbag fetish, this is exactly your entrance. There is literally no way to enter through these doors and avoid falling into the "betcha can't say no" trap. It happens to me every time and every time, I fall. Ugggh! As soon as you enter the store, you will find yourself in the bag department where there is literally something for everyone including high-end and non-leather options. The bags are all arranged by Collections so it is easy to find your favorite designer. When it comes to bags, I think women largely stick with the same designer because they know what to expect. I love a particular designer because he uses very supple drum-dyed leather and his linings are beautiful. He always has his trademark slit pocket on the outside of the bag and inside, there is great organization. So what you will want to do is find your perfect bag and then walk across the aisle to the shoe department. This has got to be the most well stocked shoe department in Georgia. They literally have everything right now. They have flip-flops, slippers, loafers, tall boots short boots, snow boots, western designs, sneakers, heels flats, sandals, cute shoes that don't compromise comfort and style, dress shoes for those holiday parties and great color options. As soon as I walked over, Steve offered his assistance and there was a particular style of shoe that interested me, (open toe and heal with an ankle strap and stacked heel). He brought out about six boxes and I nixed the first five because the heel was too high. As I lifted the top off of the sixth box, I almost lost it because this was the shoe that I tried to purchase in Ohio a few months ago. It was sold out! After retrieving my perfect size, they held the shoes while I continued shopping, (so that I would not have to carry the bag around). I now have a perfect fall to spring sandal! Yes!! If I could only shop one shoe store for the remainder of my life, this would be it! Hands down, it is the best. One day, I hope to see what the rest of this store is really like because I tend to get stuck in this department every single time. I will never be able to enter this department without making a purchase. Yes, it is a slight addiction. *** Some super brilliant being had the forethought to place the ladies' restroom between the bags and the shoes. I think situations can greatly affect your perception towards a place, but I had to rate this place 5 stars due to the experience my cousin and I were having. My cousin was looking for a professional suit. She was very specific in what she wanted and we went to, what felt like, a hundred places all over Perimeter mall to find ONE suit and it was just so difficult. We were just ready to give up after seeing the limited selections in places and/or the need to have to mix and match styles to find what we wanted (#ain't got time for that). Then we went to Dillard's as a last-stop-effort. We came downstairs and lo and behold a plethora of women's suits! Ok, this is not why the place gets 5 stars. All of the salespeople we talked to here were extremely helpful. Everyone directed us towards the right places to go, kept bringing her more outfits to try on despite her trying on several different selections. Not once did the salespeople give up looking for outfits for her. Well, I left and came back for a little bit and my cousin worked with a salesperson named Helen and Helen found her THE perfect suit in a flash. Helen knew exactly what my cousin needed and for this reason, I think the customer service and selection at this store is great. read more

Had a very pleasant experience buying a last minute suit today from a very kind and competent salesman, who's name I have unfortunately forgotten. Fair price for 100% wool American made suit. No pushiness, no upsell. Would buy a suit here again - certainly preferable to Men's Wearhouse. read more

The level of service you receive at this store depends on the department and the time of day you are shopping. I have had great service in the intimate apparel department but the rest of my service experiences have been subpar. I recently purchased a handbag at the Atlantic Station location and decided I didn't love it enough to keep it. Since I loathe Atlantic Station I didn't want to go back down there to return the bag. I went to the Perimeter Mall location instead. When I purchased my bag the ladies in the handbag department where extremely helpful. I felt really bad even returning the bag because the associate was so helpful and friendly in helping me select a new purse. They had at least three women working in this department so it was easy to get help. Not so much at the Perimeter location. They had one associate working the entire department and I think this handbag department was at least the same size if not bigger than the Atlantic Station location. Seriously? One associate working this massive area on a Sunday? They had 3+ working on a Wednesday afternoon when I went to Atlantic Station. The woman in front of me on Sunday was returning like 3 or 4 handbags and each transaction had some kind of issue. Finally the associate called for a manager and she was able to take my return while the other women waited on the manager. The associate was clearly flustered with everything and barely even spoke to be during my return transaction. While I was waiting I observed several women who needed help or had questions for the associate but they ultimately left because they knew they weren't getting helped any time soon. I think Dillard's really needs to add some more staff in this area because they are clearly losing sales. read more

Worst department store!!!! I ordered two different evening dresses from them online. When I received them I was very disappointed. The quality was the kind you would find at Walmart. I returned them as instructed, but instead of receiving a refund I was sent a gift card. When I called to inquire why they didnt refund my credit card I was told it is company policy. I called Estee Lauder and placed an order to get in and get out. When I arrived to pick up my order, everything was a mess. Nobody at the Estee Lauder counter knew what they were doing. Trash and boxes everywhere. I could not get my order placed the day before. I asked to speak to a manager and he was no help. I told the so called manager I had already paid for my purchase and was waiting nearly an hour for my perfume. I was polite and sat between Coach wallets and Estee Lauder. They have their own police force and called them down and with their guns, they circled me like sharks. I thought they were going to kill me. I looked on google and they have killed at least 7 people at Barton Springs Mall. These were decent people that were hog-tied and died. 60 minutes has done a report on their evil behavior. They target blacks and mexicans. They even went after a rich NFL football player. read more

DO NOT order from them!! I was very disappointed with the customer service and the company as a whole. I received a gift for Christmas that was a pair of shoes. I wanted to exchange the shoes for a different size. It was ordered online so when I called they said I would have to return them and repurchase the size I wanted and that they do not issue an even exchange for exactly the same shoe but different size. However, they do waive the delivery fee. Meaning I would lose $10 from the first order and $10 to return the shoes to ship back, plus another $10 to ship the new size. That is $30 in shipping fees just to exchange for a different size. I then decided to go to the store to see if they had my size, but they were sold out of my size in two stores, I asked if I could order them and they said I would still have to pay $10 shipping. This is absolutely ridiculous especially during a pandemic when I didn't feel comfortable going into the store. They should waive the fee to exchange the shoes. I ended up returning the shoes in store and I wasn't even given the total about of tax that was originally paid, they told me it was because they tax the shipping cost, which is outrageous. It is illegal to tax shipping costs!! Whatever you do, do not order online with them especially if you are unsure of your size. During these difficult times, they should be willing to work with people and they didn't even care. To charge $20 to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size is absurd. read more

The only reason why I give this Dillard's two stars instead of one is because they have quality merchandise but as for customer service they get a negative. Last time I was there I was at the perfume counter looking at the samples. I was there for five minutes before I saw a sales lady help three other people who came after me and one couple was not even interested in perfume they were just standing near the counter and she still did not come my way to help me and I was ready to buy holiday gifts but I didn't because I felt so disrespected. I then went to another sales lady and asked her where the elevator was and she didn't even look up from her register and she pointed without words to a corner of the store which was not even where the elevator was located. She also pretended not to see me when I was showing interest in a jacket in her department. I left the store without giving them my business. There are many other quality stores with quality merchandise and quality service. I will not tolerate that arrogance and disrespect or prejudice from anyone. I went here to find a homecoming dress for my daughter. The selection was better than most. The sales lady was disinterested. (Juniors dept.) I bought 2 choice dresses and tucked my receipt away. The following week I went to return one of the two formal dresses, as my daughter had selected. ONE week later. With receipt. I was informed upon making my return that I had MISSED the return date. I learned to my regret that if your item is bought one sale you have THREE days to make a return. I didn't realize it was possible for a major department store to have such a limited return policy. THREE DAYS people! This was stated plainly on my resceipt, but I didn't read, thinking one week turn around to be plenty safe. The sales lady never mentioned. Also this 3 day return policy is NOT POSTED at check out. So Beware! As for me I can't help but feel slightly cheated and will skip Dillard's the next time.
