The best dim sum I have had in Las Vegas (and I have been trying a new place almost every time). It is nothing fancy, it's not a grand restaurant, but I did see locals eating there. Service was great too, I liked the pacing of a couple of food at a time, so everything could be enjoyed piping hot. The food was spot on for the staples. I don't recommend the fried calamari, it was a bit greasy. I love everything else, especially the stuffed eggplant, I haven't had one that was done so well in a long time.

I came here after reading so many positive reviews, so I had fairly high expectations, but the experience honestly didn't live up to the hype. Right from the start, service was slow. We waited close to 15 minutes just to be seated while only two staff members were managing the front. Seating is limited and parking is tight, so the visit already felt a bit frustrating before we even sat down. Food overall was decent, but nothing really stood out. The menu isn't very large to begin with, and several items were already crossed off when we arrived. The bao was the biggest disappointment , the meat didn't taste fresh and had an unusual flavor compared to other dim sum spots I've tried. After our food was delivered, no one came back to check on our table. We had to ask multiple times just to get basic service. What surprised me most was the bill. An automatic service charge of about 18% was added for just two people , my bill was $31.95, with a $5.76 service fee. Considering the slow and inattentive service, the added charge didn't really feel justified. Overall, the dim sum was okay, but not memorable. Between the slow service, limited menu, and automatic service fee !

A small nondescript local favorite for dim sum where customers come for the food, not for the ambience. You order on a paper menu so everything is freshly made to order. Items are brought out as soon as it's ready so be careful when biting, it can be steaming hot. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) wrap is fresh, soft and melts in your mouth. The dumpling is all shrimp. The goto sui mai is tasty with a terrific texture and perfect with a touch of chili sauce. The turnip cake is flavorful with bits of sweet potato. We tried both baked and steamed BBQ pork (char sui) bun. What a surprise to experience the difference of both buns in terms of texture and taste. The thousand year egg congee was a little disappointing which contained very little egg. The fish congee was a better selection but definitely add some soy sauce with the fish congee.

This dimsum place is better than many places in Hong Kong! While the place is quite small, there was a back room that perfectly seated 7 of us. We ordered a variety of items. My favorites were the baked buns, stuffed eggplant, and rice rolls. These were all super fresh tasting compared to other dim sum places in Houston! The bbq pork, cream, and salted egg buns are a must try! The crust is very unique as it's like a crispy cookie baked on top of the buns! Many places just steam premade frozen buns, but these are so fresh! Service was also great! The lady was very nice.

Good dim sum. There is no carts here you order off a menu. The food takes a little time to prepare but it comes out super hot and fresh. They have all the common dishes like dumplings, pork buns and lotus leaf rice. I feel the portions are good sized and prices were average.

I think I found my next favorite Dim Sum place. Located on Spring Road Road past Lindell.... Place is nice, not claustrophobic, clean, wait staff was very friendly... Ordered my favorite chicken feet, beef short rib, beef tripe, and pork/century egg congee... The chicken feet came 4 to a serving (most Dimsum places only serve 3). They were so tasty and fall-off-the-bone tender. Loved it. Beef tripe was a little chewy but is as expected, the beef short ribs were well seasoned but tasted better with chili oil, and the congee came in a larger bowl than I expected, a lot of century egg too, and was well seasoned.... Overall, I liked everything that was served... Prices were so reasonable that everything I ate, 5 orders dine-in, 2 orders to-go, and the tea was less than 50 bucks. I will be back and for some of you not into what I ordered, I think it's time you open you minds and taste buds ... try new food from other countries.... You might like it !!!!

The art of dim sum: small dishes and big flavors. The interior of Dim Sumlicious is cozy, compact, and buzzing with Cantonese chatter. The aunties working here are warm and welcoming, checking on tables with a no-fuss charm that's reminiscent of Hong Kong. One of the ladies even called me, "亮女" which made this old lady giggle. Thanks, 姐姐! Prices range from $4.89 to $8.89 per dish, which is reasonable. They have a $20 minimum for credit card purchases. Most dishes though were bland or lacked that signature punch you expected, as if they were missing heart, seasoning, or both. Nothing was bad, but nothing was memorable either. It's a solid spot for a cozy bite and a nostalgic atmosphere, especially if you speak a little Cantonese and want that familiar hum of home. But food-wise? I left a little underwhelmed and still craving more dim sum.

I'm pretty sure these XLBs are from frozen.

You win some and then you dim sum. Here at Dim Sumlicious, though, you kind of lose some. If you're looking for traditional Cantonese-style dim sum without the bells and whistles, this place deliver; just not in abundance. There are no roving steam carts here. Instead, you're handed an order sheet and it feels a bit like taking a quiz where there's no real passing or failing, just hoping the dishes you check off are still available. Unfortunately, several items were already sold out during my visit, which was a bit of a letdown. The selection was noticeably limited, so if you're coming hungry or looking for variety, you might leave underwhelmed. That said, the service felt true to the old-school Cantonese style. It was efficient, brisk, and no-frills. The dishes that were available had that familiar comfort and authenticity, which I appreciated. Dim Sumlicious is a decent spot if you're craving a more pared-down, throwback dim sum experience. Just be sure to manage your expectations.

Hidden among other average-looking, commercially-zoned businesses, Dim Sumlicious is the quintessential definition of an amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant. We went on a Saturday morning, and saw older Asian ladies running the place--always a good sign! The prices are incredibly reasonable for today's inflationary times. They split their menu into just 4 sections: $4.89, $5.89, $6.89, and $8.89 items. Your food starts coming out fast; they don't wait to serve everything all at once. They bring the quickest items out first to quench your hunger. And their portions are generous. Most dim sum dishes were served in threes, with large or at least standard sized pieces. And unlike many dim sum restaurants, you can tell the dumplings and other rice or egg-flour-wrapped, steamed dishes were handmade and fresh. The wrapping is softer, and practically melts in your mouth. The combinations of flavors in the fillings balance together beautifully. I know there were at least 2 dishes that I ordered that I had no idea what they were, but they ended up being excellent. This will not be the last time we visit Dim Sumlicious, not by far.

We used to go to China Town for Dim Sum but my husband and son wanted to try this restaurant. We live on the Southeast side and had a bit of a drive, but we will do it again! There was plenty of parking and we were greeted with smiles and seated immediately. It's not a fancy place but there were plenty of tables and it was clean . It was after one when we arrived and they were fairly busy. I let my husband and son do the ordering and they didn't disappoint. Everything that arrived was delicious. There was only one item that wasn't available. The dishes came out quickly with a smile. We were impressed with how friendly everyone was. I liked that they had a poster in front of their counter with pictures of the dishes.

This is our most preferred dimsum place amongst almost all the dimsum in the valley. We like it here because there's an aura of a small quaint mom's & pop's atmosphere. It's small, maybe 10 tables, yet not cramped. Majority of the customers are locals & regulars like us. Everything on the menu are usually fresh & made to order. Service is fast, efficient & courteous. We usually start with the piping hot tea & the first order of congee. The congee is tasty & not thick nor watery but just enough. The chicken feet is tender & soft yet still chewy. There's usually 3 good sized feet with slices of jalapeños. The shrimp har gow is also a favorite with its . translucent, delicate wrapper and juicy shrimp filling. Dipping it in the soy sauce chili paste mixture gives it an extra taste boost. The gailan, Chinese broccoli, is a staple too, bringing balance to the nutritional value of our foods. So if you want a less crowded place to enjoy delicious freshly made dimsum peacefully, visit here.

Dimsum in Las Vegas, Nevada... My sister and my niece wanted dimsum for breakfast, so I used my Yelp app to find Dim Sumlicious! I liked the name of the place and I saw a review by my trusted friend, Lyla D. With a 4-star average rating, I felt confident about dining at Dim Sumlicious. It also helped that Chinese-speaking customers were sitting in the cozy, old school restaurant with us! Service was efficient and polite. We got refills of tea by placing the cover of our teapot at an angle. We ordered by checking off boxes on our menu. Then, the food came quickly! Everything was delicious: shrimp dumplings, taro cake, Steamed sticky rice in lotus leaf, bean curd roll, steamed shrimp and chives dumplings, custard tart, baked sweet cream bun, and pork dumplings. I think the best item was the custard tart because of the flakey crisp crust!!! I appreciated the convenient restroom and free shared parking! Too bad they were out of the coconut cream bun - that's my niece's favorite! My sister paid at the cashier's desk. It was very reasonably priced! Thank you!

Hole in the wall restaurant located in a LV Chinatown strip mall with free parking. Don't expect ambiance, don't expect any unique items, but do expect affordable "mainstay" dim sum items that will satisfy that dim sum urge. Typical Siu Mai, Pan Fried Chive Dumpling, no Har Guow, no Baked Salted Egg Cream Bun on the midday Wednesday that we went....strange.... Cheap but if you're on vacay, I suggest splurging a little and going elsewhere for a more memorable experience. If you're local, this place is an affordable mainstay.

I think not. It's pretty casual. I have called 5-6 times with that same question. They've never answered the phone

Is this place good for big parties?

Not really. Pretty small place. They do have 1 bigger round table at the end, but this place is very busy, make sure you come very early or if you don't mind waiting.

Pork and Shrimp Siu Mai (5/5): The absolute highlight of the meal and easily one of the best versions of this classic dish available. The order comes with four enormous pieces that taste incredibly fresh, with every single bite packed to the brim with juicy, distinct chunks of real shrimp and pork. Bean Curd Skin Roll (5/5): Another standout favorite of the visit. The dish includes three large rolls cut cleanly in half, packed with incredibly juicy meat filling. It's especially delicious when you ladle the savory sauce from the bottom of the plate over each bite. Cream Egg Yolk Bun (5/5): A dessert that tastes like a cross between an egg tart and a sweet pineapple bun. The sweet egg yolk cream center is warm and exceptionally gooey, so you'll want to take your first bite carefully to prevent the runny filling from splattering. Salt and Pepper Squid (4/5): A very clean, airy, and crispy appetizer that shows zero signs of being fried in old kitchen oil. While the batter leans a bit light on the expected salt and savory seasoning, the abundance of thinly sliced fresh jalapeno peppers added a spicy kick. Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf (4/5): A very solid, comforting option with excellent overall flavor throughout the rice, though the savory meat filling hidden inside the center felt a little sparse. Beef Tripe with Ginger and Scallion (4/5): A dim sum staple featuring an incredibly delicious, gingery sauce and great savory flavor. Beef Congee (4/5): We ordered the medium-sized bowl, which easily yielded at least 4 smaller bowls of congee, making it a perfect shared carb to round out the meal. It had a comforting consistency with a subtle note of ginger, though it personally sits just below a traditional preserved egg and pork style for me. Logistics Tip: Arriving around noon on the weekend means encountering a packed house, but the staff moves the crowd efficiently and gets tables turned over in short order. You place your order by marking your selections directly onto a paper slip, and the kitchen sends items out to your table as soon as they're ready, meaning dishes will arrive in a random, staggered flow throughout your dining experience.

We ordered mostly dim sum and put a few orders for some noodle dish. Didn't realized that dim sum is over at 3pm but restaurant is open until 10pm have we known we would have taken our money and family elsewhere. I think some of the dim sums they serves us were all left overs and they had to microwaved some because my husband witness a server doing so at the service station which is not right because when my husband came in to ask for a table at like 2pm they should have said they were running of a lot of things because dim sum is over at 3 but yet they told him they could accommodate our party. Dim sum that came out was not good,Hacao and the bbq steam bun was all breaking apart, parents got chicken feet and they said it was bland, service was terrible!!! The waiter didn't check in on us not even once, our waters were empty and food that did came out way too long like 5-15 mins intervals. The noodle dishes we order never came out because the waiter never put it in so we were all staring at each other for like 30 mins w no food.Server guy was the one w the spiky hair he is very unprofessional never greeted us and he wasn't very friendly, asked him twice for water and it took him a minute to get someone to bring us waters. The chili oil is disgusting it tasted like curry which we never ever had at any dim sum place ever! Ambiance??? zero star, It's DIRTY! upon observing the area where the servers and bussers go I noticed that it's not very sanitary there was dirty rags w the clean dishes and dirty dishes w the clean dishes as well. I'm also pretty sure I got marked on the dim sum stamp thing for something we never got so pay close attention because those ladies are so quick and rushing to stamp and charge you but very little food made it to the table. Paid close to $300 and they have the audacity to include the auto grat when they didn't do crap service was zero. Everyone left still starving because at that point we were not gonna wait another 20mins for them to cook the noodles that we order 30+ mins ago. Never again! We do not suggest going to this place at all your way better off at orchid garden or Hong Kong dim sum cafe. Also the servers were all bum rushing the food that came out for them at like 3pm while people was still eating at the dining room they all sat down down around us and ate while we were all seating there waiting for some food that we never got. I regret so much bringing my family to this place it's not worth it, parking also sucks here because it's shared parking so it's limited also if you want a clean place to eat definitely not this one such a disappointment! Going to definitely reached out to health department about our experience because we saw al lot of health violations.I honestly don't get why people is giving this pace a 5 star, like look around? I get it's down the street from strip but drive a few block or miles and you will find better food and service 100%.
