Most scoring went down hill for Gyro 1.5/2.0 as very dry on first serving. Meatballs - 1.5 very chewy and not typically beefy ..Mostly spongy. Chicken soup was good . Didn't care for lentil soup.. The yellow rice is good. Overall this buffet you get more chicken options... Lastly , drinks included is nice and plates do get cleared. read more

Dimassi's is middle eastern splendour in an array of scrumptious eats in a spacious restaurant. all you can eat, one rack of lamb per person. pace yourself! lots of options here, so flavorful to feast on! iced tea included, spruce it up with Splenda. the meatballs were slightly dry, the bescemel was delicious. read more

I drive 45 mins just to come to this location. Service and location are great - no wait whatsoever. The food is less salty than the other location and super tasty! My favorites are: potato and cabbage salad, all the chickens in stew are tender af, the fried fillet fish, and the spinach are a must! Make sure to get there with an empty belly :) read more

DiMassi's Mediterranean Buffet is located in the corner of LaPalma Ave and Imperial Hwy. It is easy to locate and access. Parking is plentiful. The cashier is right up front, but payment is taken after you've finished your meal. The young woman at the front was quick to welcome us and gave us the rundown on how their buffet works. There's plenty of seating and there also appear to be 2-3 rooms that could be reserved for private parties. Lunch prices of $19.99 per person run until 4PM and includes drinks and dessert. In today's economy, that's a smokin' deal! Salad bar and main course selections are extensive. Dessert has 3 pastry options and a fresh fruit bar. Beverage choices include a self-serve soda fountain and hot coffee. My favorite buffet items today were the biryani rice with chicken and the dolmas. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the chicken was also very flavorful and tender. The dolmas were some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The pitas appeared to be freshly made, but they were on the crunchy/hard side, whereas I prefer soft and pillowy. While the kufta was flavorful, it was overcooked and barely warm. The falafel was also flavorful, but also barely warm. Perhaps this was because it was towards the end of the lunch hour?? I'm willing to give them another try, maybe closer to opening to see if everything that's usually hot actually is. Bottom line, tho, is for $19.99 it IS a good price. read more

It's basically a buffet place that's not bad. Parking is a breeze since there's a huge lot. You enter and is greeted. You actually pick your own seats and get your food and drinks. You pay on the way out. So it's basically a long line of food with drinks including. I went on a weekday lunch so the price isn't that bad. Theres a number of salad , different hummus, types of dips, pita, 2 types of soup, grilled vegetables, 3-4 types of chicken , 3 types of rice, falafel, lamb shavings, beef , 3 types of fish dishes.... Unlimited soft drinks, iced tea, coffee. 4-5 types of desert.. Imho, it wasn't a bad deal for lunch. The place is newly remodeled and it's clean. All the food seem to be overcooked it was dry and tasteless. The service was fine in that it is a buffet and you help yourself. The evening meal cost about $30 and the best part about the whole meal was the Coke. read more

This was a good surprise. When I walked in, I can't believe the vastness of the food selection. I don't know where to start! Everything was good. They even have lamb shank offered one per person. All you can eat Mediterranean cuisine at Dimassi's Buffet offers a wide variety of options, including salads, soups, and a range of meats. We dined at Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet in Anaheim last week, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. The food quality was extremely poor. The lamb shank was especially bad -- it had a strong unpleasant odor and tasted off. Several of the meat dishes had a similar smell, which made it hard to eat. The stews, despite offering different flavor options, were all very thin and watery with almost no flavor. Overall, the food lacked seasoning and depth, and nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared. The cleanliness was also concerning. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant, and both the floors and tables appeared dirty and not properly maintained. It did not feel sanitary or inviting. What made the experience even more frustrating was the price. We were charged $33 per adult and $15 for our five-year-old, which is quite expensive for a buffet. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not justify the cost at all. We left very disappointed and would not return. read more

I'm so glad they opened a location just a little closer to home. I gave the one in Cerritos 5 stars and give this place the same. So many options and everything is fresh. The baked chicken with yellow rice is delicious. Lunch is only $19.99 and it comes with a fountain drink. You pay at the end. Plenty of seating and very clean. Love it so much here! read more

We absolutely love this place! It is always very clean, the tables do not feel sticky at all (something I always look out for). The food is always super flavorful and fresh. The Cerritos location is much more attractively decorated as Anaheim Hills is much too modern, but that won't take away from the excellent food. read more

Our first time eating here for lunch on a weekday and real excited to try AYCE Mediterranean. It was good but nothing really stood out. I was hoping for more beef and seafood (there was fish, but they only have tilapia and I don't eat tilapia). The dessert was just OK too (not sure if it's acquired taste... if that's the case, apparently my taste buds have not acquired yet). But for the price, it's a good deal! I would still recommend to give it a try! read more

I truly loved the food at Dimassi's. There is a wide array of options and everything is hot and fresh. The service is fast and there is plenty of seating. I was so happy to see a YouTube video about Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet. I was even happier to see a location close to where we live. We planned our visit and a few days later we made our first visit. The dining room was clean and brightly lit, not much in the way of decorating, but it was fine. The buffet tables were at the opposite end of the entrance, with all the dining tables in front of them. There were most of the cold items, various salads, hummus and dips. In the middle we're soups and a large basket of fresh pita bread. Next, the warm foods, chicken, sliced gyros meat, felafel, roasted potatoes rice pilaf and most. All fresh and warm. Next a drink station with refillable side, rose water and tea and coffee. Next, fresh sliced fruit and baklava and other baked dessert cookies. Service was minimal, just to pickup your used dishes mostly, but everyone was nice. Everything we had was very good. We were aware of a time limit, and we knew you pay when you leave. Also, if you arrive at lunch time, but leave at dinner time, you'll pay the dinner price per person. That didn't happen to us, and we were never rushed. The dinner price was about $5 more per person. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and looking forward to visiting again soon. It's so nice to have a Mediterranean Buffet in Anaheim Hills! read more

Variety of dishes available for lunch looked and smelled so promising!! Sadly disappointing. Lunch costs $20.99 plus tax. Tried a little bit of almost everything except the fish dishes. All meats and poultry were severely overcooked and very dry. (And many of these were freshly put out on the buffet periodically while we were there!) The falafel was as hard as a rock. Stand outs were the eggplant, beets and garlic spread. Desserts were so-so. Baklava was dry and oily flavored. Not buttery and flaky tender as it should be. Paper napkins are so very thin and small you'll need many. Flatware is at least metal (not plastic) but thin and cheap. Restaurant appears clean and well maintained. Restroom was clean. Gentleman bussing the tables did a great job. We won't be returning. read more

I went after trying the Cerritos location was exite with bunch of friends lunch time , and the lamp chunk wasn't part of the lunch 21.99 and not why ? I was so suprised to see that they opened another locations in Anaheim Hills! I was so happy because I'm more around this area versus their Cerritos location. This location was definitely so much cleaner and nicer, lovely chandeliers and very spacious. It was a very nice place to eat because the other location seemed very crowded and busy and noisy. They have most of the same things. I don't know specifically what the differences are since I've only been to the other location once. They had lasagna here which was surprising and it was actually really yummy. I would eat here again for sure and am planning on it. Just wish I can go during the week since it's a lot cheaper. read more

We tried it out since this place was the old Marie Calendars restaurant. Met the courteous and pleasant woman at the front desk. She was kind and explained the process of getting the food. Since we came on a Monday, deal was $19.99, which includes the soda drinks. (Well worth it since they carry Coke). They had a good selection of different salads. Four or five different ways of seasoning chicken. The best was the regular fried chicken. Crunchy skin with moist meat. The red beets was pretty good too. Not too salty and not too sweet. They had 3 different kinds of desserts. Apricot fruit cake (dry), another cake better) and the best was the baklava. Not heavily sweet, just right. Imo. Also, they carried fruits. Honeydew and oranges. Plenty of parking. Restrooms were clean. Workers were nice. Oh also, they have a take out to go containers. They charge you by the pound of $9.99. In conclusion, it's not bad for the price. Go give them a try. read more

This is one of the best buffet , Clean and shiny good service we got seated within 4 or 5 minutes we had a table of 12 people I was so impressed with the quality of food everything had a lot of flavors aroma mensaf was my favorite I was inviting a group and everyone loved it, to bed I'm too far away we live in San Francisco we go once a year so for sure next time we are in the area well dine in again, the only thing I have to say it's their dessert needs to be a little better quality, fix the dessert area please Plus ad regular tea . read more

First time here and honestly first time since probably pre-Covid that I had a buffet. This place is a beautiful restaurant located off of imperial in Anaheim Hills. It has all kinds of different Middle Eastern food. But honestly, the best part is the lamb shank. This is probably the most tender lamb shank I've had anywhere and combined with a buffet is even better. I Highly recommended coming here nice fresh food, and freshly baked bread! read more

MY FAMILY LOVES THIS RESTAURANT! We have visited both locations here and Cerritos and they are so consistent! The ambience is beautiful, the hostess Susana is so nice, the food is delicious! Tastes authentic and homemade, you can tell they take every dish serious, I'm craving the food just writing this, must try their lamb shanks and mansaf! It's incredible, they have fresh bread, even grape leaves, for a buffet it's amazing how every dish is piping hot and flavorful, the restaurant is so clean and nice, the manager Viv is very nice and checks on customers, try this out if your looking for some authentic Mediterranean food! read more

Our go-to place for AYCE Mediterranean. For AYCE, the food is good although I found some meat items to be a bit dry. The chicken, vegetarian and pasta/pizza options are solid. Good choice of included beverages and desserts. The place is clean and spacious, and everything's just laid back and easy. There's no one hovering over you and laying out the law of the land. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.
